When you ask Nick Bobrov what he thinks about Ivan Demidov being the steal of the draft and he responds by saying "Uh absolutely, that's an understatement."? I'll believe him over 2 podcast boys.

Ive heard many NHL scouts say the Demidov's MHL team would beat any team in the Canadian Junior leagues easily.
This is a remarkably inane video. And, for the record: KK was not drafted by this management team. Too bad he landed at five.
6'1 is small? Demidov is 6'1 lol, other than Hutson their D is huge. Guys like Roy and Beck aren't big but not small either and Nick is bigger than Crosby. One or two more 6'3+ forwards changes the whole dynamic of that group.
It's impressive to see two guys with mics who know more than the Habs coaching staff does.

MHL is just as good as the OHL and WHL and it’s worlds better than the Q…
Why is MHL not as good as other Junior leagues. Usually odds play out. Russia has population of 140 mill and Canada 40 mil. Would be interesting for top MHL to play Memorial Cup winner. Anyone watching Demidov cannot say Celebrini is that much better if at all. They are different players Demidov has better edges and silky smooth hands .We seem to think that all Canadians are man for man better. We are always talking about the Russian factor Do they not all show up in the NHL. We have a Russian ranked about 50th in the the draft and goes 22 and Nashville is still trying to trade up from there because they think he will be gone by 22. Just because we don’t see them play as much doesn’t mean they are inferior. Who actually can say they have seen a lot of the KHL let alone the MHL.
