holy shit that is impressive
If Chicago doesn’t end up with Celebrini I really hope we get this kid
@MisterCautionluckily that didn’t happen. I bet we will take him considering he has one more year in the MHL and has shown willingness to transition to the NHL
Watching this after he's been drafted by the Habs. He seems to be the perfect prospect that would understand MSL's teaching.
Great breakdown
mtl took him 5th overall as a Habs fan couldn’t be more happy what a stud he will be
3:38 that whole sequence was insane, made the defensemen look like little children
I don't think there were many instances in hockey where a player was so satisfying to watch, you can't argue that
absolutely my kind of player
He has the skating of Jeff Skinner and the puck touches of Malkin.
Please HuGo, do whatever it takes to get Demidov
He’s soooooo good he’s the next Gretzky. Anything!
I saw somewhere he fell to #8 I really doubt it but I’d love to pad our top 6 for the future
It's Sunday, the Habs drafted him. Holy Crap! I can't believe it. Go Habs!!!
Who do we think will take Demidov? I’m a Montreal fan and hope we can get him at #5. Half the mock drafts I’ve seen have the Habs taking him at 5 with picks 2-4 being the top D and Lindstrom for his size, and the other half have him being taken at #2 or #3. What do you guys think?
now it dosnt matter ! Im so happy he's an habs ! we get some pure raw talent !! just imagine our PP caufield suzuki slafkovsky demidov and hutson ( 4attacker's and 1 def as we did for a while) that will do lots of damage in a near futur !
this guy is going to be the BEST player of this draft class
Не is absolute insane😮
They have MEDS for that, don't worry!
Tanks David, I would watch your analysis all day long! What do you think one per day?
I'm not that fast haha. One per week is what I can manage right now :p
@@davidst-louis8315Tu peux en faire une pour Brandsegg-Nygard et quelle pourrait être sa projection pour la NHL ? J'en perdrais pas une miette ^^
The kid can play LW, RW and center. That's special
Reminds me of Marty Havlat for some reason
Same, reminds me of Martin Havlat with Pat Kane's hands (Havlat's skill was also through the rough)
Caufield - Suzuki - Demidov , habs futur looking good
Demidov on a power play with Hutson and Slafkovsky is going to EAT
Montreal 's accelerated rebuild is coming closer to an end. Even though they have already added several good players like Slaf, Dach, Reinbacher and Newhood, HuGo have still failed so far to obtain that special elite player/game breaker which could change the face of the franchise...Celebriny and Demidov could be one of those players but they have to win the lottery to make sure to get one of those two. However, if Demidov was to slide because of the russian factor...then maybe Montreal has a chance to get him !!!
BRILLIANT PREDICTION 🔥🔥🔥
@@jakethesnake5646 Thanks, indeed, Montreal has been pretty lucky to draft Demidov. Even if everybody tries to deny it, there is "still" a russian factor. Teams usually think twice before drafting from Russia especially with a top3 pick. The habs needed a special player for years... and they finally got him !!!
Habs baby !
that creativeness is good but it’s gon have to get toned down a little bit and that will come with experience he’ll be great and i can’t wait WELCOME TO MONTREAL DEMIDOV WE CANT WAIT TO WATCH U PLAY
Welcome to THE HABS ....IVAN !!!❤
Great video, thanks. Hope he'll be a Montreal Canadiens.
@@MagicMike_101Oops!
On that 2 on 1 I can't tell if he slid the puck under the defender's stick or saucered it over the stick.
Any news on his injury looked pretty bad hope all is good
Bonjour David, as-tu la chaîne équivalente en français? Merci très bon contenu.
He reminds me so much of mitch marner when he played in london
The Blackhawks have many options to choose in this draft but Demidov looks pretty solid. He could fit that role of scoring goals and receiving easy passes from bedard.
And vice versa.
Hawks need someone dynamic like this to take focus away from Bedard. I wouldn't sleep on Eiserman either. The kid is seventeen and the best scorer in the draft.
@@Elrond_Hubbard1 that it he can only score, I feel ivan brings way more offense than cole, but if coles falls to the 20 pick grab him or possible draft up
@@Elrond_Hubbard1probably can get him at 20, if he slides, Ivan at #2 Cole # 20, or they have enough draft capital to move up if they feel someone has chance of taking Eiserman! Damn that would be insane 😅
Demidov's game is really similar to kucherov, not the fastest skater but very agile and shifty leaving defender looking clueless. His hands are quick and unpredictable if he will shoot or pass and his playmaking ability are also very similar in the way he develop very creative play
I even think in term of pure skills he is better than celebrini
This guy looks elite
Bedard - Nazar - Demidov
Bedard is a Center and that line is too small. They need at least 1 guy over 6 feet with good 2-way game.
@@darkstark1949 That is literally Lindstrom lmao
Slafkovsky-Suzuki-Demidov :)
Ive never seen a guy skate/pivot like this guy. He's going to be easy to knock off the puck at first but the potential is there. Reminds me a bit of Tim Stutzle/Nail Yakopov.
So he reminds you of the biggest bust in NHL’s history?😵💫
@@hugol81people forget what happened with Yakapov, he had the talent. If he had any type of work ethic and did any training instead of being lazy and relying on his natural talents then he could have been great.
Alex Barabanov is a skilled winger who loves to use 10 and 2's. He had a down year this past season, but he's been a pretty effective NHL player for the Sharks.
Barabanov doesn’t have the hands or hockey sense that Demidov does.
Ivan Demidov is a Montreal Canadien
He’ll get hit hard in the NHL
He looks like a mix of Kovalev and Lane Hutson 😅
Can you give a good comparison between demidov and michkov?
Have a feeling he’s a Blackhawk. Just thinking of his playmaking with Bedard is so disgusting, and I’m not even a Chicago fan
I think he will go second especially since he only has one year left. But will he extend ? Personally I think Connelly is very similar and peeps are sleeping on him. Will be interesting who the Hawks take given they need size on the front and a future RHD.
why is he not playing in the kohl this year
He dont want to sign another contract he want to come in North america in 1 year after is contract
Welcome to Montreal 🔵⚪️🔴
Hopefully
Chicago**
He’s not falling past two so welcome to Chicago
Lol Chicago
Yep...he's freakin' good!
Welcome to Chicago Kid !!!!😎
Merci à toi, très bonne analyse, de plus il appartient au Canadien !
He’ll look good with Bedard!
Why is he not playing in a higher division/league, such as KHL? He’s clearly the best player in the highlights but there is a slight concern that he’s going up against lesser competition, so still some unknowns.
Punished because he won't extend his contract in Russia.
SKA wont even play Michov or Demidov for some reason they seem to hate playing young players
@@davidst-louis8315that's good.I don't want to wait 3 or 4 years for a player
@@davidst-louis8315
Have you heard he's actively not extending? Is the implication that he wants to come over asap?
@@dangshnizzle6929 No inside info but that's what I read around.
Ummm have you ever heard of Pavel Datsyuk??
Blackhawks, please draft him with The #2 pick
4 straight MHL seasons?
YEAH!!!!!!!!!
