Um, am I the only man that digs this stuff????!?!!??? I mean, I got up this morning, shaved my scruff, chopped some firewood, got beat up bull riding come home and start dry brushing my kitchen cabinets!!! And find that's the best part of my day!!!!!!!

I just tried to get this effect on a lovely grainy shelf, but watered down my paint rather than dry brushing, then wiped with a cloth. I was scared the paint would be too uneven, so your tips help, but also, seeing the effects from using a combination of different colours means now I’m going at it again - how daring am I! Ha. 😄

Great tutorial & LOVE your finished look--the Duck Egg really sets it off. My question/concern is how to best preserve the finish on a heavily used surface (i.e. tabletop). Would you use a dark or light wax on your piece? Or a high performance top coat? Or some combination of those? Thanks for your insight & A++ video!
Hi Amanda, excited about this video, I have some old wooden shutters that have been painted white, can I use dry brush on them to make them look older , a little hesitant to get started 🤗😆
