Actually I bought it and I can say that it's a very good stylus, I also bought a pencil box for it and it's just the perfect idea, the battery for the stylus is very, very good as well and it's really impressive
Got mine in the mail today,if you have big hands, this pen is so much more comfortable to use! It's pricey...that's for sure,but the long lasting battery and it's size is worth it to me
One benefit of the Pro that you did not mention, is the ability to locate your lost pen using Samsung Smart things. The basic pen if lost... is lost! I think that is totally worth the extra 50 bucks, because that's how much you would have to spend to replace your baseline Z Fold S pen each time it is lost. Or live without it, which would make me sad (and less productive). After all, the whole reason to get the Fold (besides cool points) is the massive amount of productivity features that it has over just about anything else that you can buy, particularly in the form factor of something that can fit in your pocket. Where to STORE the pen is, to me, the biggest fail.

What is the difference between the s-pen pro and the tablet s-pen in terms of how it writes or the pressure points it has etc.
Bought it and love it...no issue with the size either but I'm a big guy
I was waiting for the S Pen Pro to be released to use with my S21 ultra but judging by the size of that thing I will be getting the standard s21 s pen
This pen looks pretty cool but no matter what, it still doesn't the spontaneity of just clicking the bottom of the phone like a Note and out pops the S-Pen! I've just ordered the Z Fold 3 but even I still don't think anything will beat that. It's still good to have the option though
True, but this pen is a million times more ergonomic than the note pen ever was. The Note pens were bare minimal when it came to pen size. I love notes but I think the overall writing and drawing experience will be better due to both the pen and the screen size on the Z Fold.
@@iROMine I can't argue with that but ti be fair, I bet not a lot of Note users actually used the Note S Pen for art and drawing etc? I have the Tab S7 Plus with the case and S pen so that is perfect for drawing etc (although I'm not an artist). The size of the S pen was fine on the Note for Note taking and every day usage like Web browsing and social media etc. I personally don't think the Fold and the S pen functionality will ever beat the ease of just clicking the pen out of the bottom of the phone for Note users but it's better than no pen at all 👍
@@whothefcukrmutd2008 Functionality will be better as far as getting the most out of what the S pen has to offer (it will take better advantage of it than any phone ever) but it won't necessarily be as elegant. I think the fold is the new top dog for power users but pulling the pen out of the bottom and using it for browsing, jotting notes, making annotations to send to colleagues is something uniquely "Note", which is what makes it good and why it still deserves to exist.
I did have a bit of an important question, if the s pen pro was connected to 2 devices and you decide to use air gestures, which device will they be sent to?
If it works anything like the Galaxy buds, it's whichever device you're currently actively using.
You can't use Air gestures for both at the same time, only the current device your working on, but you can switch easily by pressing the connect button, remember connection is ONLY ABOUT AIR ACTIONS, you don't need a connection to use it as a stylus unless you're using the Z Fold 3 which is too fragile for any kind of stylus , it needs a special stylus by itself.
@KW Has A Message You can use either the s-pen fold edition or the s-pen pro on the z fold 3, just FYI. The pro has air gestures as well
I just don't think that I'd use it enough to warrant paying $99. Especially that it's so large and I wouldn't want to carry it around with me. I have to agree that using the S-Pen with my Note 20 Ultra as a camera shutter release allowed me to get some cool Meteorite night shots (where I used a Tripod & Cell Phone holder mount to keep the phone super steady).
It's not meant for your phone. It's competing with the 140$ Apple Pencil, arguably the best pen tech
@@lime4 Yea, but they are marketing it for use with the Z Fold 3 & the S21 Ultra. I think it would best for a tablet.

You can use voice commands to shot any photo or use hand gestures. I can't see a real benefit.
@@snapeinchain9753 I find that using voice commands can be hit or miss. Using the S-Pen when doing some astrophotography worked perfectly.
How does it *feel*? Is the weight good? What kind of finish does it have? Does it feel more premium or pretty similar to the standard tab s7 pen (which feels pretty cheap and plastic)?

This is kind of frustrating tbh. When they released the s21 ultra they were teasing the Spen pro and how it would work for air actions but then they made it huge. It won't even fit in the case. What's the point

man why did they cancel the Note series? I love my note but it's to the point of needing to be replaced :(
I went on Amazon got two s pens for about $30, smaller regular sized, didn't have to charge anything, all I had to do was activate in the advanced settings the S Pen Mode, and I filled out documents. I didn't use Bluetooth to pair either.
What about the ability to copy and paste between the devices?

I just realized they fold edition spen and they spen pro look exactly like tab spen but thicker and taller but the design is exactly the same rounded from every surface and flat on 1 portion of the pen also they said they spen pro was gonna attach magnetic 2 some of the cases which means it's magnetic and even though it's bigger than the magnetic spen slot I wonder if a portion of they spen pro attaches magnetically 2 they galaxy tab s7 could u please do a video on that n maybe cut the case as big ad they spen pro or something like that it's a fun experiment honest.

It's more than just Airactions, I like the copy and past to other devices, that's a huge feature for work flow.
My S Pen Pro is coming in 3 days. This is my first visit to your channel. I looked at some of the other videos and have now subscribed. Thank you for the video I look forward to watching your videos on the s22 Ultra. I'm not sure if I will upgrade from S21 Ultra or not. We shall see.

Why they make it so big?
So it feels more like a real pencil or pen. There are good art apps for the S21 Ultra which the regular styluses feel too small for. You have more control. People complaining aren't artists. If you're not an artist I wouldn't bother with it.
the tav s7 fe spen doesn't have air action its basically the same spen as the tab s7 fe with a higher 43 millisecond latency neither does tab s6 blite have air action. This is benifical for tab s6 lite and tab s7 fe user and s21 ultra and zfold 3 users and also the Galaxy book 2 which also comes with the basic spen which is weird because the pervious galaxy book spen was bluetooth.

That's a shame. If it would have been similar size as tab s7 pen I'd probably upgrade as I'm getting a fold3. Feel like this was a missed opportunity.
Either way you cannot attach it to the Fold3 and a case would be over sized since the Pro is a larger Spen, bigger than the Fold3 itself.
Use a velcro backing to attach it to the fold case
One important question is the S Pen Pro compatible and works with all Samsung Galaxy Tabs and Galaxy Phones? such as early version of S2 Tab series or Galaxy phone A, S, and M series?

@@harsh2k02 I already ask Samsung, and they Comfirmed, S Pen Pro compatible with all Samsung Galaxy devices including Galaxy phones and Galaxy Tabs have S Pen or compatible with S Pen. Not S series only.
In other word, This S Pen Pro can be used as S Pen Replacement.
only reason i skipped the pro because if i want air actions i'll control my phone with my galaxy watch 3 :)

Same. I remember being so excited for it when I got my first Note phone, and used it for like 15 minutes, tops. I can see why some might like it, but it sure was gimmicky for my use case.

4 s21 ultra users who r buying they spen pro buy a flip case buy an apple pencil holder cut the top portion of they apple pencil holder upto the point where u don't damage the elastic that's their if u have a really thick flip case u could stick it on the side n if slim flip case than front or back n the botton portion of they spen doesn't lie flat so when u open the flip case accidental press happening instead lay it side ways samsungs flip case may be the best solution as it doesn't have a magnet or a way 2 clip the case in the same spot putting they spen pro just takes enough space that case won't move around. Anyone buying spen pro buy a flip case.

No, the screens have to have what's called a digitizer display. Only the 21 Ultra has it in the 21 series

For the S-Pen to work the screen has to have a digitizer. While some tab A tablets have came with S Pen. But if it didn't come with one that means the screen doesn't have a digitizer.

It pairs with most S devices 🆗 we know this but for me it's not a reason to buy it! 🤷🏻
The real reason to buy the pro is for the artists that use the tab. The one that comes with it is too small and doesn't feel as weighty as the Apple pencil. That's literally the only reason

Why in the world would Samsung destroy my hope for the S21 Ultra with this disgusting monstrosity of an S Pen?? I have never been less happy with a phone and am EXTREMELY disappointed in myself for spending $1200 on the S21 Ultra. The first S Pen for this phone was garbage, and now there's not even a way to carry the "Pro" version with the phone. Samsung is so far off base it's ridiculous. Will be moving away from this crappy S21U as soon as possible.
Why arent you happy with the phone?
Zfold3 s pen uses different frequency on the wacom digitizer than standard s pen. That's how it knows youre not in the right mode. The mode switch changes the ouygoing frequency.
I have a galaxy book flex 15, an s6lit and a note 10+ thats being eeplaced by the zfold3 next week. I need the S-pen Pro. It sux all my expensive 3rd party emr stylus' wont work on my fold though. But at least ill have one stylus that does work on them all.
You never explained if the retracting tip and normal tip are also changed by the mode switch. I doubt it does. Maybd it just stops rdtracting when xeitched to spen mode?
