Bro 11 years later and I'm looking at buying this bike haha 😂
Me too buddy
It doesn't matter broo.. generation 4 zx10r are still being the best in 1000 class until nowdays. Feel free to ride it✌️
@Chris Ron did you get it?? 3 months later and I'm in love. I pulled the trigger and got the 2011 and it's blindingly fast lol 😆 I did some things to it already and it's just an amazing bike all around I love this platform
Just paid a deposit on my first ZX10R which is also a Gen 4. A year down the line I’d lo hear your thoughts on it?
im still not tired of my 07 zx10r
it is a beast of a bike i have the uk one had the bmws1000rr before but didnt like the front end was a bit scared of moving to the ten what a bike easily as fast as the bm alot smaller only thing missing q shifter i love it
ok, after some careful observation of this bike, it has now grown on me. the zx10r is one hell of a BEAST... and i mean that in every aspect of the word :)
@julingy I couldn't believe it either. It did need tires because the rubber had gotten hard and had flat spots from sitting. I also had to clean the carbs. Only major problem I have had was something coming loose in tranny after I had put about 1000 miles on it. $250 dollar repair. The last 2000 miles have been trouble free.
I just bought myself one. SGD$35.1K minus 4 years interest at 4% p.a. This will be my bike until its COE ends in 2021...
@gotmildew Your welcome. I just bought mine last week. If your interested in knowing why we do it... well thats simple. I personally do it so I can guarantee that the engine is broken in properly, the warranty is valid, and the maintenance is done properly. Oh, and Im the only one in my ridding group with one XD.
What about the same one but 2010 is it the same one
2011 kawasaki ninja zx-10R VS honda cbr 1000rr 2011 wish one is the best to have for long term
this bike is brand new. Yamaha has a fairly new model with the R1. The BMW S1000rr is brand new. When is Honda releasing a brand new CBR 1000 and when is Suzuki releasing a brand new GSX-R 1000? and the most important question: when is MCN going to compare all of them?
I need this bike!
@emblaz3r Honda only does a revamp ever 4 years so means 2012, Suzi said they aint bringing a bike till 2012
@gotmildew lol which ninja did you buy?
yeah no doubt man. i dunno if i believe your $1000 story. but i got a 2002 triumph daytona 955i with 4000km's on it for $4500!! and 7000km's later ive had no problems
@gotmildew No way you getting one thats 2 years old for $5000 unless its crashed. Bikes hold value well believe it or not. It will lose that $3-4000 out the gate and thats it. A well maintained 2011 ZX-10 with 8000-Miles and a few mods won't go for less then $9000. If you see someone selling it for $5000 Theres something wrong with the bike and i would really look it over.
Well said review motousa.
@Geecheeman doesnt have to be, but yeah i get your point
Hey nice review. Very imformative too. I subed! :) keep em comming!
Nice bike
I WANT ONE!!!
if only it had a sharp tail it would be perfect, as for now 9/10!
$13,788 for standard $14,788 for ABS. Or just wait 2 years and buy either one with less than 8k miles for $5000 used. People are insane to give this kind of money for a new bike. I paid $1000 for a 2002 Ninja with less than 2500 miles back this summer. Not a scratch on it. I am glad the rich boys can buy their toys new, get tired of them easily and sell them dirt cheap.
10 years later and where I live a beat up one with 30.000km is still wortrh 7-8k€
Can i has kowasaci?
It looks awesome. But the 1198S or the RSV4 APRC are still better and more fun bikes, in my opinion... if the price is getting within a few thousand dollars, i think I know where I'd put my money instead.
@SteveO1988 Its NOT a Yamaha....LOL
i would sell my 2 motorcycles to get that bike! Whhhoooooo!
May have features and ride great but the looks. Its not sharp enough tail end looks flat.
@NJsportscrew wow....wtf are you talking about?
@gotmildew yea but some ppl like myself get fucked ove buying used stuff. i've had mechanics look at them and everything but you just don't know how they have been treated...
Well, not just rich boys.. There are always those people who live in crappy houses and don't seem to have much nice things, except for a brand new bike lol.. They probably spent too much money on the bike but I wouldn't consider them rich boys
i'd splurge and spend that extra grand for the ABS.
good thing they do, cause you wouldnt be able to afford a bike, and they wouldnt be made to the same standard as they are today..
The front wheel pops up off the ground wtf! Yall tryna kill people?
@gotmildew So, would rather pay 12k for a bike that does 100 in less than 5 seconds or pay 200K plus for a car that can't even touch that? That isn't expensive for a motorcycle. Look at what Harley riders are paying for there piece of shit. Bikes are getting technologically advanced too and it comes at a price. And i would like to see you buy one for 5K in the next two years. I can't even find a first gen 10r for under 5K.
