the speedometer on this bike just makes sense. I cant remember ever looking down at the speedometer on my bike at a fast pace I rely on the shift light to flash at me but then that's right at my shift point or right before it.
Yea buddy. thats some power right there.
Not a big fan of the tail section of the new zx10 but I am in love with the new guages, especially the tachometer.

@MrSlowestD16 actually, I was very impressed with his riding. Did you see how bumpy the circuit is? Did you see at what speeds he went over that with more than reasonable lean angle? Or maybe you started complaining already before you saw the whole video?
@arc909 They're probably using a GoPro on the suction cup (like I have), the stork is too tall and unstable at decent speeds and wobbles more than the anti wobble thing can account for.

@JacoPastorius99 supersports will smoke sport tourers like the busa and zx14 til around 160 or so then the bigger bikes will reel the liter bikes back in. This is assuming both bikes are stock and not some slammed tarbo busa with NAWZ.

@horayforboobieszxr I do mean the supersports such as the gsxr1000, zx10r, cbr1000rr. I was wondering if they are faster in a straight line than the Hayabusa (0-60mph, quarter mile etc.)?
@JacoPastorius99 By 1000s do you meant sports, vs hayabusa sports tourers, sports would probably be quicker on track and through corners, but 600's are plenty fast as well
@larlar752000 the speedo of the s1000rr stops at 186, this speedo happens to stop at 189, a marketing ploy so people buy this bike cos its 'faster.' In actual fact this bike is limited to 13k rpm in 6th gear and the bmw isn't, and it will hit a true gps 196mph

What exactly is the difference between the 1000's and the hayabusa? Is the Hayabusa really faster or have a higher top speed? Aren't the 1000's better in the corners?

@magnapillow apart from the fact this is a UK video and bike speedo is in MPH!!! I'd be a bit upset if my 1L superbike could barely top 120mph

Omg the acceleration is brutal, it would clearly go way faster if it wasn't limited to 189mph!

I suggest some new angles for the camera when you guy's make this videos...I know its called Onboard but its starting to get boring maybe mixed camera angles next time? I'm a film student and I think it would be great :) cheers!

@MrSlowestD16 Maybe I don't have any skill ... who cares. I do have 17y experience on road, track and off-road. Probably around 500K km. Have 2 bikes in my garage with combined 285hp. I can reach those speeds as well but there's just no point in doing it on the road. Take it to a track for your own sake and especially others.

Perhaps if you are thinking that takes "skill" you simply don't ride? He's not knee dragging by quite a bit.
How bumpy the circuit is? I've done those speeds on public roads...
For my skill level (very low), I should be saying "omg" when I see those videos..but if me, at an all-time-low skill level, know that I can do the same thing - because I have - then that's what makes it pointless. Anybody on a liter bike can do 200, real skill comes in turns.
Sucks this bike cost 32.500 pounds in Denmark.... Hip hurray for danish taxes.... :(

I didn't "click on the title" because I was wandering around random. I'm subscribed to MCN, like many other people, and like MANY other people, I'm getting sick and tired of the way they're ONLY making flat-out videos, most of the time with bikes much slower than this.
If you were around at all for MCN's previous videos, you'd know this, and you'd know how pissy people are getting.
Curses if only it could do 1 more MPH to hit 190mph!!!

@MrSlowestD16 120mph @ 45 lean angle and more on a bumpy airfield... this is worse than perferctly flat public road and definitely a race track. the guy's probably running on road legal rubber. True, in MotoGP etc they go up to 60 degree lean angle (on a perfect track with prototype race slicks!).
You're STUPID for doing these speeds on public roads! AND: title says "ZX-10 Flatout", don't expect any racing, stunts or crashes and don't judge it on your faulty expectations!
stop making bike videos you're tempting me to sell my car (which i need for work) and buy an R1 ugh
