U can not be having als.i think u have some kind motor neurone related disease,that not about als or any life threatening but it can cause disability if not treated
I’m not sure why you think so but I do have ALS in the early stages

@@Onlytruthprevails7777 My dr believes I am pre symptomatic ALS. I’m diagnosed with motor neuron disease. It’s not helpful to invalidate my illness.
@@LaineyMelnick actually there is no medical term to say pre symptomatic to any disease.by doing these sort of diagnosis the doctors actually make blunders. Als is a disease which do not have any pre symptom,or even it has the pre symptoms do not lasts for 8-9 months.dont know why they are misguiding you.
ALS is not a disease to " believe", it's a disease of actual clinical failure,an absolute clinical failure with muscle atrophy can establish the diagnosis.in fact in over 97% of als cases the actual clinical failure & muscle weakness happens with in first 6 months of symptom onset .
Still I can't buy ur diagnosis.if a clean emg is not sufficient to rule out als then there is no other test in the universe which can give even a little hint about the disease.
U shoul go for another 2 opinion atleast
