Cool to see a KGB agent being interviewed by a FSB agent
Lex does have top secret clearance at the Kremlin.....
KGB or FSB is nothing with soft intelligence of CCP ( China ) .Therefore, KGB & FSB is old school and predictable mindset 😀 ,China is the challenge for Free World now .
🤣
What fsb?

You can guess and guess and guess what Putin is thinking...OR you can listen to the mans own words ,listen to the speeches he made , especially the 2007 Munich speech ,he lays it all out
This speech
m.ua-cam.com/video/hQ58Yv6kP44/v-deo.html
Your a wild hair. Why would anyone listen to his speech’s when the press can sum it up in a 2 minute segment?
@@ghdh166. agreed. Putin's motives are not deep or intriguing. they are bloodthirsty and simple.
@@ghdh166. because you can’t trust the western press
@@ghdh166. Press here. We're just doing the chewing for you. You then, can do the swallowing easily.
I don't think signing a deal to give Putin some land for peace is acceptable. Easy for Americans or other people to say that given we haven't been invaded. I agree with Zelenskyy, agreeing to give Putin any land will only encourage him to take more.
today donbas, next day kyjev ... they want bridge to hungary and moldova
@@NW-bz1jw The choice should up to Ukraine, not us. Given how much suffering Russia has inflicted upon Ukrainians over the decades I doubt surrender will be what they want anyway.
@@BM-wf9uf The Ukrainians just like all other people are brainwashed by their goverment. The goverment WE SEE. The shadow goverment is something else.
They still haven't "given" away Crimes for 6 years now. But unfortunately I don't think it's for them to decide. It's probably for their more powerful sponsors to decide
In an ideal world, yes. But in an ideal world the US wouldnt fund a coup and encourage Kiev to break the Minsk agreements. In the current (and fully avoidable) military situation, there is no possibility of Russian loss. Militarily, it is not a competition, it is a matter of time. And if that is the case, ceeding land means PRESERVING Ukranian land, and most importantly saving Ukranian (and Russian soldier) lives.
One simply does not retire from the KGB.
Putin has been very consistent about his plans, in his speeches and in his actions. The blind optimism of the West in general and Merkel's Germany in particular has led us to this exact point.
Russia is in an existential crisis right now. They are trying to cover territory that they cannot protect. However nukes will be used as the protection.
As Eastern European, the amount of trust western europe has put on post 90s Russia is just appaling.
The country was still run by the same people. It was just matter of time that they'd invade.
So it's the west's fault, not the killer?
@@hakunamatata1880 Yup. As Vladimir Bukowski described that the same nomenclatura that had run the evil empire yesterday, suddenly became "democratic" and came forward to the positions of power.
@@hakunamatata1880 it's not trust, it's politics, they wanted Russia to join them, rather than joining China, which is happening now, Trump had the same vision and we all know what he got for that, the Russia gate bs.
I respect any man who can acknowledge his own cowardice.

It's not just giving up land for lives. What's to stop Putin from coming back 5 years later and demanding more land for lives?
Absolutely correct! He won’t stop with the eastern provinces. He’ll come back in a couple years for more, until he reaches the border and invades the next country. And the next. And the next. He won’t stop until he dies.
And also what happens to those Ukrainians left behind in those lands.
I hate these what if games. This is exactly why the US overcalculate things. Each event analysed to their own circumstances. Why not wait and actually see what he does?
@@marvinwilliams7938 Because appeasement never works. You just invite more wars. You invite Putin to take more parts of Europe and China to take over Taiwan.
@@tiberiusvindex804 most are Russian in eastern Ukraine
The land is worth zero lives. The principal is worth every life. Lex said it perfectly.
Really? Did you lose anyone close to you out of your principal? I really doubt.
[ 3:51 ] - The problem is if you start doing the "giving up some land" thing with a character like Putin is that it won't satisfy him until he has all the land. I think I heard that Russia now has invaded and is occupying 20% of Ukraine, so it's not just "some land", making it sound like it's a small corner somewhere. Ukraine is fighting for its existence.
As a Canadian of Ukrainian decent I can tell you that living in the shadow of a Great Power means freedom and self- determination are illusory. Yes, the United States has not invaded Canada for a century but only because we have never strayed too far from behaviour deemed acceptable by American administrations. We never let nationalistic fervour take hold, and for the most part, we have bowed to corporate interests. When we do thumb our noses at America it is to portray ourselves as having the moral high ground. This position, ironically, is occasionally useful to the United States. However, Canadians have no doubt that if we ever attempt to decisively separate ourselves from the American sphere that tanks would soon roll.
Absolutely, but, as a Canadian myself, we would not mind that either way with how horrible the Trudeau government has been. Plus, the American people are at least more politically diverse and less cucked than our nation is. Comparing that to Russia though is a bit moronic, Russia is just a world power that wants to encroach upon other people's territory because NATO is too pussy to do shit about it for fear of WW3 and this age-old Cold War understanding of how the Russian nuclear arsenal REALLY is.
I think this has been something that's been lurking in the back of many Canadians minds for the past 5 or 6 years now with how politically unstable America has become. I think if you had asked a Canadian 10 or 20 years ago if a US invasion was a possibility, they would have been shocked by even the question. Now there's a lingering, nagging anxiety deep in the psyche that betrays that confidence.
lol
I know a number of Canadians that would welcome the US taking over Canada, given the wild liberal direction Canada is now taking. Going extreme Woke is not a good thing.
@@1MinuteFlipDoc I would sincerely welcome a change in the direction Canadian politics has taken. I have voted socialist all my life but will vote conservative to ensure the present ruling party is removed. Most Canadians love and admire America. However, I don't believe you'd find anyone currently who would welcome the divisive, ineffectual, corporately controlled partisan "S"- show American government and politics have become.
Lex showed some serious wisdom in this clip. Jack took notes.
This dude probably still a spy
There's soviet saying - "You can take man from a soviet union, but you can't take soviet union from a man".
3:47, "Jack", do you even bothered to google what happened in Ukraine since 2014?? WE TRIED to negotiate without losing lives, but what do you think? 8 years after putin decided to take even more land.
So, seems like there's no EX agents, you still using soviet ideas living on a free land.
I was going to say the same thing. He feeds (literally lives) off this self imposed idea of his complete honesty now. Not realizing it shines an even brighter light on his true instincts and how he really feels about things to onlookers. But the thing is... The more I listen... The more likely I think it is he is in that pure delusional stage of buying his own juice forgetfulness. I actually almost think he caught himself real-time and came up with the Zelenskyy question pivot via spycraft habits on the fly. After he realized the red underwear he didn't think he owned anymore had been on outside his pants the whole interview.
Should Russia have surrendered to Germany to save some lives?
Well Germanys plans were a bit different, weren't they?
Hitler's Germany planned on wiping out the Slavs to create living space for the Germanic people. Completely different situation.
@@daniel_960_ depends where you’re looking from. Putin is the dictionary definition of a fascist leader.
@@daniel_960_ judging by the scores of Ukrainian civilians who were tied up and executed in the middle of the streets, I'd say their plans aren't all that different.
@@fenriswolf-always-forward There was a lot of unfortunate violence in the Maidan period. But I think you're deliberately omitting what caused the Maidan unrest. A corrupt Pro-Russian government that wanted to sever Ukraine's ties to Europe economically in favor of Russia. Despite the majority of Ukrainians not wanting that. Ukraine is independent, they voted for their independence from Russia, they don't want Russian rule which would have happened under Viktor Yanukovych.
Don't get me wrong I'm not condoning the violence in Odessa but I understand why Ukrainians would respond the way they did when their country and its sovereignty was threatened once again.
Not to mention that the Ukrainian people have living memory of what it’s like to live under the boot of Moscow’s rule during the Soviet era. 10’s of millions of people were intentionally starved to death by the soviets and it was concentrated in the Ukraine as a way to eliminate the Ukrainian people. So it’s much more than just “land” my guy.
Lex interviewing Future Lex.
oh shait! we're getting close... Tremendous, my slavic brother
The hopes of the Ukrainian people all rest upon having their own place to do things the way they wish to.

I would ask Putin when he driving his taxi around chaotic post-soviet Moscow trying to just make ends meet, did ever get a foreign intelligence officer a ride, and was he compromised?
It’s not what is some land worth. They gave up crimea and Russia came back. So it’s more at what point do you say no more.
This guy never was a KGB asset.

Plss bring in Andreii Dymitrov
How much land would this fellow permanently cede to an insatiable enemy to save just one life?
I think the question is if they're as insatiable as our media and our governments lead us to believe.
We are up to at least 50k lives and counting. Every day adds 100's more. And not like continuing the war makes the bargaining position any better. The longer this goes on, the more land Ukraine is ultimately going to have to surrender. Finland gave up Karelia in exchange for peace during the Second World War. It was a devastating loss, but prevented even bigger disaster and Mannerheim is widely viewed as Finland's greatest leader for successfully navigating Finland thru that mess far better than they had any right to expect. Ukraine needs a statesman right now who understands hard truths- not some comedian who operates on emotion.
@@scottwillie6389 - by that logic, France and Poland should have ceded large swathes of land to Germany. As it turned out, Germany had to cede land to its victims. I expect Russia will need to do the same.
@@Rampart.X Poland very much should have made a deal prior to WWII. They got utterly wrecked by both the Germans and Soviets. France shouldn't even have gotten involved in the war at all, but thankfully for them, Germany didn't want any territory from them so it wasn't as big a deal.
Didn't Putin cross a line?
Always be aware of multiple exit routes and strategies brother😼
Cool to see people who have out lived someone who would want to harm them and now share whole story😀
They didn't finish the story! When the mob returned to the KGB office in Dresden, Putin went out to the crowd unarmed and was confident/intimidating enough that they disbanded and never attacked the building. That's unusual for a mid-level paper pusher.
Every nation is proud.
Would you want to go from a sovereign country with sea ports to land locked ? No ! It’s not just giving up land giving up sea ports is another thing. Ukraine will fight to the death.

How many lives for a piece of land ?🤔
Is about freedom not about piece of land ✌
I don't blame anyone for considering the appeasement sentiment....but I would laugh in the face of the condemned that would attempt to enact it.
Many people all over the world seem to have the exact same talking points regarding Ukraine.
People should remember them.
