So some context about the RP and ERP: The FC in question was "Coffee " and held the #2 spot for savage and extreme clears on Crystal. Every week, we also hosted a roleplay coffee lounge which was divided between a SFW section for the main floor and basement, and the upper levels were NSFW with a fee in gil. Shadow was not hitting on OP. Shadow plays a male Xaela, Dawn plays a female Xaela. Besides, they had a mutual agreement about ERP being open, so long as it remained in character and didn't translate to real life. Dawn did not abide by this rule. Dawn was very verbally abusive and a pathological liar. IRL, she treated Shadow like less than human in the 6th year of their relationship. Something made her switch all of a sudden after 5 years, and there's still no answer as to why. Shadow is 100% straight, so he wouldn't hit on a guy, most likely a miscommunication. I used to be a part of the FC, and am actually one of the people she robbed for a commission. Never saw that money ever again, and Dawn actually yelled at me for bringing it up in VC after months of waiting. My heart goes out to Shadow. Dawn's gofundme was a lie, she did cheat on Shadow and there were chat logs to prove it, even after breaking up, she kept living with him and it took a bit to remove her from his home. She continued to flirt with other men and continued to lie to get pity and sympathy from people. Shadow had not cheated on Dawn once, and was unhealthily devoted to her. The way she treated him was disgusting, to say the least. As for OP's part in this, I wasn't in the static, but I do appreciate the warrior (Calling him "Hotgo" for simplicity's sake) giving them the logs. I wasn't in their static, but they helped me get tons of clears for glamour and mounts, and can confirm that logs were available to see who was underperforming. During off-static nights, the underperformer was typically me, as I was just learning mechanics. Dawn actually treated many of the female players poorly, and even went so far as to give me the silent treatment, even though communication with her was important for a lot of the FC events. I didn't even know what I had done wrong, either. She never explained it to me. So I really hope people take this testimony to heart and don't judge Shadow too harshly. The man kept getting placed in undeserved positions and was ultimately betrayed in the end.
am the astro in the story :o yay am famous ^^ I guess my position gives me a bit of knowledge to explain some more to the handful of people that stumble on this video later. not really looking to comment much on the personal drama but I'll say that the story around the raiding details *is* pretty exaggerated, though enough about the important points are there to make it obvi if ya know the peeps or not. also OP is non-binary they/them for commenters a lil confused. they were in the static for the first few weeks of p5-8 tier - being removed before 6 was cleared, mainly due to unreliable attendance cause of some health issues. that might sound a bit harsh and sweaty but it was maybe 6 rain-checks out of 10 raid nights... as someone with a chronic illness of my own, it was a lil hard to object when I pushed to call off as lil as possible. ^^; TOP also wasn't anywhere near released yet, it was early into patch 6.2. I recall us getting back to p3 in dsr fairly quick like the story says, though unfortunately due to previously mentioned unreliability it happened for, like, 1 pull.... though the amount of ping issues and just inconsistency in the group made dsr kinda impossible ^^; group went on for months after OP was removed and never got through phase 3. some of the log-related stuff was also kinda weird to hear, dawn and OP both struggled with dps numbers but they were still good enough about mechs to clear and the rest of the group was able to pick up the slack for the most part - not sure why things about oranges and pinks had to be made up for this story. Though don't let the raid details detract from the rest of what's being said. Like I said, I was just the astro - not the ERP manager that knows about all that stuff. ^^; Though I have heard a lot of similar drama things from friends and it's true the FC no longer exists after their breakup, I was nothing more than a SFW lala hostess that quit the job before a lot of the bad drama happened.

some things definitely set off my radar too, but improving at that pace isn't really that unlikely, if they were putting as much effort into as they were saying, I'd say it'd be expected to improve like that, they were always studying mechanics way in advance and they were pf progging on an alt. Ultimates really aren't that difficult if you just study the mechanics. What I don't believe though is that they had purples and pinks, literally in the top 1% of damage dealers, and somehow they were told they were not doing enough damage, like no one would ever say that lmfao, they either lied about their parses to seem more in the right, or to get a brag in. Gaol prog in ucob immediately caught my ear too but I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they mistyped or something, surely they wouldn't make a mistake like that even if it was fake

Unfortunately, as they mention sending entire DMs, a lot of folks started coming to me about Dawn and sending me entire DMs, was the first step on exposure. History though, havn't touched the game since. I lived with Dawn, btw. She had full access to any of my DMs, or could simply walk over and look. She always knew it too. She asks, I hand her my phone, let her go through whatever, I didn't care, had nothing to hide. Her....well lets say I wasnt allowed to see her phone.

If it's not the same peeps, it'd be both hilarious and kind of scary this just happens to be the norm over there.

She actually isolated Shadow, and there was no tazing her PC, but he was the one that paid for it in the first place. Actually it's heavily over exaggerated. I only ever had to remove 2 people from our static, they were one of them. They just left early or didnt show up 75% of the time. They were definitely not pink parsing, lucky if they were green. The drama is ...unfortunately mostly true cept the last bit. I dont ERP guys.

Not to defend this Dawn person but tbh… p8s p2…. As a healer… we kept having issue healing our RDM (and sometimes DNC) since me and my cohealer would spam AOE during HC but if a member only stays at corner, we can’t really know and single target them. And for week1/2 casters are squashy af. So I can totally see this underhealing thing being on OP instead. We had to constantly tell dps to stay in get healed then go to their corners. The only time we single target was during the last part with ifrits or somehow both healer got S towers and caster is up north taking bleed bad….. 😂 there were also ppl like “you are healers you should keep ppl alive”. My argument is “you are dps and you are not even hitting the boss. Why not just come in for a few sec then go to your spot”.
I had the video on 1.25x speed because you speak a little slowly (not a criticism, its probably a good thing for many people). Forgot it was sped up for awhile before the outro song started and jumpscared me 😅

If someone said they'd kick me over a joke, I'd just tell them Do it. Static honestly isn't hard to find, you can make your own but being new to raids might seem overwhelming to do but it isn't a hard game, not even the hardest content is that hard. Pay attention and work through it, the mechanics are like a dance. I can understand it'll be hard at first, but what isn't hard in the beginning? Everyone can do hardest content in the game given enough time.

I feel like the op should def be held accountable for their actions. Technically, none of this would happened if they had just read the room and kept their distance whenever Dawn started being territorial. Which they are entirely entitled to be because that's their partner. So whatever boundary line she wants to lay down is fair. She seems to really be trying her best to stay in relationship with "Shadow" regardless of how he's been in the past. Yeah dawn was an ass but you aren't here for Dawn. You're here for a clear. Actually it's heavily over exaggerated. I only ever had to remove 2 people from our static, they were one of them. They just left early or didnt show up 75% of the time. They were definitely not pink parsing, lucky if they were green. The drama is ...unfortunately mostly true cept the last bit. I dont ERP guys.

Not to defend this Dawn person but tbh… p8s p2…. As a healer… we kept having issue healing our RDM (and sometimes DNC) since me and my cohealer would spam AOE during HC but if a member only stays at corner, we can’t really know and single target them. And for week1/2 casters are squashy af. So I can totally see this underhealing thing being on OP instead. We had to constantly tell dps to stay in get healed then go to their corners. The only time we single target was during the last part with ifrits or somehow both healer got S towers and caster is up north taking bleed bad….. 😂 there were also ppl like “you are healers you should keep ppl alive”. My argument is “you are dps and you are not even hitting the boss. Why not just come in for a few sec then go to your spot”.
I would have escalated the shyte out of that soon as she told me not to dp the rdm watch me!

I had the video on 1.25x speed because you speak a little slowly (not a criticism, its probably a good thing for many people). Forgot it was sped up for awhile before the outro song started and jumpscared me 😅
That is totally fine! People are allowed to watch me with faster vid speed! I do that too with some other yt vids and it’s all about peoples time in the end of the day and how they rather listen to it!

Static honestly isn't hard to find, you can make your own but being new to raids might seem overwhelming to do but it isn't a hard game, not even the hardest content is that hard. Pay attention and work through it, the mechanics are like a dance. I can understand it'll be hard at first, but what isn't hard in the beginning? Everyone can do hardest content in the game given enough time.

I feel like the op should def be held accountable for their actions. Technically, none of this would happened if they had just read the room and kept their distance whenever Dawn started being territorial. Which they are entirely entitled to be because that's their partner. So whatever boundary line she wants to lay down is fair. I feel like no one really stopped to think about what this "Dawn" person could/has been going through with this "Shadow" person. She seems to really be trying her best to stay in relationship with "Shadow" regardless of how he's been in the past.
Yeah dawn was an ass but you aren't here for Dawn. You're here for a clear. Escalating things to the point where you ruin someone's relationship just because they were mean to you about a video game is crazy and completely uncalled for. Don't get me started on them doting everyone in the static even though they already knew Dawn would have an issue with it.
They're actively doing things that make the situation alot worse than it has to be. Like if you didn't like the static and you technically already cleared on an alt....Why would you still stay?
