    Hey there! Thank you for reading my story, I actually jumped the moment I realized it's mine! xD
    I'm really sorry for spooking you with the story Pathra, haha! There truly are some weird demons in some people...
    A little update for the people who are interested:
    Our new FC is doing very well! We now got a large plot again and have multiple events going on during the week! Nick made sure to 'replace' us as quickly as possible after everything that happened, but from the last time I checked their FC hasn't recovered that well from what happened - aka many members that are offline.
    They continued to spread lies to the new members - as they did before with old drama stories - about us, but after a good month or so we stopped caring and we are just doing our thing.
    Hope you all enjoyed that story... even if it went from 0 to a 100 pretty fucking quickly at the end xD

    As a person who has been working in the funeral industry for for over 20yr people like Nick are not welcome liked or accepted in the industry if it is made know that someone is overly morbid or joyful about death they are quietly moved on . All funeral director talk to each other and that person name will be spread as a red flag not to be hired. People like this give the industry a bad reputation and is why people think we're all ghouls .we are not that our job is to provide a service to family in one of the hardest time of their lives and support them in that time of need.these people are not welcome in our industry.

      Worked at a cemetery for a time and came here to say just this. The head mortician at our funeral home was a 28 year old tiny blonde girl who was passionate about makeup and just wanted a steady paycheck, as opposed to trying to scrape out a living freelancing in makeup artistry. *That* is the kind of person you'll find in care centers. This Nick person sounds like a tryhard who took their goth phase way too seriously and then never grew up.

      I honestly think you make a lot of assumptions based on a one sided story about what might, or might not have been said or more importantly, understood. It takes a special kind of person to work in such an industry, and perhaps after having done hundreds of arrangements some might become overly professional and distant, often without realising. I think that's a more likely reason some think of you in whatever terms you used.

    • @OhOhShinra
      @OhOhShinra Рік тому

      @@CompliXD You sound like someone who's never actually worked in the industry. The moment you become "overly professional and distant" is the moment that your career declines, because a good chunk of the funeral industry is actually commission-based sales. The guy in the story claimed to be a mortuary assistant, so he probably didn't have his paycheck tied to sales, but people that he worked with definitely did. And if he's as much of a tool as portrayed in the story, his coworkers would've rallied to have him tossed ages ago -- because mortuary assistants DO deal with families, and a jackass like this would sour relationships and fuck with possible sales. I'm not saying that this guy was lying about his job, but to me, either something is fishy in the story or people need to stay far the fuck away from that funeral home, because the existence of a person like that means that absolutely no one there gives a shit all the way up or down the ladder.

      @@CompliXD cool story. I stand by what I said. There is no other side to that part of the post . If a person in this kind of work is openly being disrespectful rude or worse online talking about the work their doing they don't belong in this industry.

      @@cainlazzaro8213 Homie. It's a job. Everyone shit talks their job and talks down about it. And on the other spectrum, idolizes shit jobs too. but more so, again, you don't know what is real or not real. You don't even know if in the end the story is true at all.

    I can relate to the op to not feeling well when talking about topics like that everytime I go visit my parents and talk to my mother the conversation starts out normal and it eventually she talks about Death and Spiritual Topics and I always have this "ugh I don't really wanna talk about this" for the same reasons as the op makes me feel uncomfortable

    I kinda see where op is coming from in regards of the weapons and other „murder“ related stuff, that’s really awkward and in poor taste to talk about stuff like that so randomly…
    When it comes to the subject of death overall idk death is a part of life.. everyone dies someday and that’s totally normal (maybe it’s also my job but I’ve seen a lot of people pass away and I’ve also seen hat many just looked peaceful) it should be talked about, I think it’s important to know what your loved ones want after they have passed away. For me it’s just the way it is actually talked about, it’s a sensitive thing so it should be treated as such.
    I believe that without death, there wouldn’t be life it’s a part of every living beings journey on this planet it shouldn’t be a taboo to talk about it as long as it’s in good taste and respectfully.

      THATS what's off putting to you? Really, man? The pronouns? You realize you can refer to anyone as they/them when talking about them, not just their sex? "They walked to the store." Or "they started their car." They taught that in school. The sad thing is, you're most likely a grown ass adult and still behave this way 🤣.
