Thank you! Slowly making my way up to 1000! It’s been great fun making videos so far, definitely still learning loads and always trying to improve, and figure out what directions I want to go in! So glad you enjoyed the video & music! 😀👍

How wonderful - the sculpture is intriguing and these sounds are rather special. Your comments very helpful too. I'm going to keep an eye out for the next one! 👍👍

Thank you! Yes it’s an interesting sculpture, I only gave a bit of info, I’m sure there’s more to find out online if you’re interested, part 2 coming very soon! 👍😀

I'm from the uk & I never knew about this, the singing ringing tree! So does it make all sorts of sounds depending on wind speed and directions? I like the idea of what you are doing with the sound too. I have a korg minilogue (a sort of modern version of the moog) and I love using that in my recordings, manually changing sounds etc, and I have various synths & pad but never really played around with sampling sounds and working with those. That was a really beautiful result you got there, inspiring - nice video - liked

Thank you! Yeh it’s quite cool! I think it has different pitches from different lengths of steel, it generally is a bit discordant, not too sure what the actual harmonic relationships are between the different pipes, and yes! It definitely varies depending on wind speed and direction, so it’s always shifting and changing, usually quite low in pitched but sprinkled in with the higher notes too, it’s quite a pleasant place to go visit in a nice position too! I made good use of sculpting the sounds with a filter and choosing which slice to play on the Morphagene too, really glad you enjoyed the video!! 👍😀 hope you catch the part 2 coming soon!

@@megamodularis I will have to give it a visit ...on a windy day though! Thanks for reply, I never sub anyone if they are above replying but that was great (hey, helping you get near that magic 1000 subs!) I think we are on a very roughly similar music appreciation although my music isn't as technically experimentally clever as yours! Look forward to part 2 🙂

@@NepenthesSloth Thank you! And thanks for subscribing! Absolutely! Worth a visit for sure, I’m definitely not above replying, for me that’s a big part of the fun, meeting other musicians and people interested in this kind of stuff, I try and reply to every comment, unless I miss them, or they’re overly negative (and I don’t have anything to add by replying) that’s only been once or twice though! That’s kind, I think as long as it sounds good to you, you’re doing the right thing! 👍😀

Anyone know if "The Angel of the North" generates audible effects?

Not that I know of, although you could still go and gather field recordings for later use, in these recordings I liked using the birdsong too!
