I was thinking the same thing...if we weren't building (having built) our new house here , wouldn't it be fun to join them for 2 weeks and help out. I am retired and have medical issues and suspect their pace would be perfect for this Senior.

Well,, i been gone all day ,working on a friends broke down truck,,,its after midnight,,and you guys put a video on..oh i shouldnt of ate that much pizza..looking good Jer....kind of cool there to,,we got two cold days,then warming up again,,seems like we got to pay for nice weather to..payday is around the corner,and fuel is almost 4 bucks a gal..its so sad,,we have to make are own little american dream,,,i use to be able to stretch a buck,,now its a twenty..haaa,,love watching u guys..

Might think about smoothing the dirt before placing floor joists. Down the road you will wish you did when you are crawling around underneath. Also, you don't want to have water puddles., This would make breeding grounds for insects.
Believe it or not it was smoothed out momentarily until it rained again and again and again haha. Hard to smooth out with it so damp. It was dried up more today though, so will probably give it another scrape before the joists. And yes, we will be sorting the puddles out before we build the floor for sure.

I agree. I thought it was kind of off on the first cabin...but then the adjustments to level it out and the ease of framing made it seem like 'genius'.
We still pour a post-tension slab here in Texas due to swelling clays.

lose weight my man don't do as I did and become a big man that takes a crane to move around if there is one thing I would want you to do is lose weight stay healthy. stay away from the carbs.
You might want to look at an early video he did about his medical release. Jeremy almost died and had his colon removed. His diet is highly restricted. Putting on weight is a challenge.
