It’s almost like old jetski brothers builds! I love it! However I miss the original commentary and wild things that were said lol… good to see you guys making some swindley decisions. Best part of js bros
You did a great job on the design man and build man... Maybe not as much on the paint job and surface finish but hey, who cares about that when having fun. Thumbs up from me.
@JetSkiBrothers I had so much trouble with the motor, but no one else would sell me engines.I was going into business making them. Cost me my marriage ,house, everything. Launched on TV,and had great feedback. Couldn't get motor's,or jet units. I was to much opposition to the other manufacturers. Sold it to my cousin 3 years later. Bummer.
@ 1 log jump and your back will be wishing for suspension lol … I love it, thinking it’ll sink without a massive bilge. As far as being able to kill it… no not a 701… that heart will live on in the lives of many many skis to come… the hull however is another story
Cool idea. If you want to improve upon it, by fixing the 2 main issues of turning radius and the nose diving. Pretty much need to get the weight as far back as you can. Really 2 feasible ways to accomplish this. 1- get the engine all the way to the back of the hull, then extend the tunnel as needed to fit all the dirve and steering components. (But that'll increase the length a fair bit) 2- move the engine further forward and extend the drive shaft. Then create a seat that covers the shaft. Sitting pretty much at the very back. 2nd option is probably the better one as it will keep the packaging small(ish) but move the weight further back. Might also allow for more leg room if you can straddle the engine. (+ heat shields) Also, a kayak style water bib (sorry, don't know the correct name) would reduce the amount of water getting into the hull.
Install a bilge pump and make a deflector around the opening that deflects water and this thing will be dialed. Also maybe you could shave the back of the ride plate a little to trim the nose up under power.
Those are some great ideas, I'll give them a try. I might need to do some more research on the ride plate shaving though. I don't want to mess that up.
It's one of those things where you build it not really knowing how it will work in the end. With this thing it was always going to be you get the amount of room that's left over. It works pretty good in spite of how nose heavy it is, but it needs some refinement.
There isn't much information about how many people die from fiberglass dust, but here's some information about the health risks of fiberglass: Respiratory disease Respiratory disease from fiberglass exposure is uncommon, but it's important for clinicians to consider it in patients with respiratory complaints. Lung cancer Studies have found that fiberglass doesn't increase the risk of respiratory system cancer. Other health effects Fiberglass can cause eye irritation, nose and throat soreness, and aggravate asthma and bronchitis. Symptoms of fiberglass dust exposure include: Dizziness Disorientation Vomiting Trouble breathing Pain Headaches Feeling faint Fiberglass is less of a health risk than asbestos, which is a known carcinogen and leading cause of mesothelioma. Fiberglass and rock wool insulation have been determined to be not permanently harmful because the macrophages in the lungs are able to break them down and carry them away within about 10 days.
I don't understand why you didn't wear a mask when you were cutting all that fiberglass. Not smart. There doesn't seem to be much of a difference between a jet ski and this bot you ride in. You drove it around just the way a person on a jet ski would. All in all it is a great job on your part. Congrats
Just like to see Jacob where a mask when cutting all that fiber glass or at least don't let the kids play amounst the dust bits.
Wear* right
Listen closely, he is holding his breath
Was going to be my first comment… mask, fiberglass dust=not good down the line.
Always stand upwind and send it.
@@palitalovelock9888 The kids seemed to miss the memo on holding your breath
Really should have been wearing a respirator while cutting fiberglass.
Ok keran.. enjoy video, its his life . Quite your bitchen .
You need get the weight further back or put weight further back. Sweet build, I would love one like it.
That's the plan!
Awesome build! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!

👍 glad you enjoyed it 🍻
one of the best videos ive seen in a loooooongtime
Thanks 🍻
Jacob is the Waverunner macgyver! Really cool build!
It’s true 👍🍻
If you’re not into it I understand but I’d love to see more of these jet ski turned mini boat projects.
What a great find I really want one of these jet boats. Great way to make one. Glad to see some new interesting YT.
Welcome aboard!
Little foam to keep it off the bottom and she’s good to go
I'd invest in a bilge pump. Maybe some removable, rearward balast for different sized pilots to keep the bow up. Pretty bad assed contraption.
Wow guys! I'm new to the channel but MY GOODNESS! I've never seen such an engineering masterpiece. Have you ever considered doing work for OceanGate?
😆 none of this oceangate talk, you don't want this thing to end up at the bottom of the ocean
You did a great job on the design man and build man... Maybe not as much on the paint job and surface finish but hey, who cares about that when having fun. Thumbs up from me.
Seriously bud, you're grinding Fiberglass without even a dust mask on? LOL! 😂
I built a 5 meter trapper conoe in 1990 with a 550 Kawasaki jet ski motor in it.A lotta fun, did about 40 kms in 4 inches of water.
Sounds like fun! I love those old jet ski motors!

I like that you recycled an old jet ski that would have been taken to the landfill. Way to up cycle
Exactly 👍🍻
very nice, but i think a vxr pro in stock form is more fun
It’s a very different kind of fun 😉
This must feel fun, super close to the water🎉
You need to drill some holes on the bottom to let out the water.
top dudes !! how many time the total project ??
Good job MR HO THANH CHE!
I'm glad you saw what we were going for
😂 exactly
Awesome video.
Thanks 👍🍻
Fiberglass a small fin on bottom would help the turn? Or am I wrong
lol at the ppl saying move the weight back! I love it for what it is, a quick throw it together build before it goes to 300sx heaven
You think we're going to be able to kill it? It seems pretty tough. Also I hope your 300sx isn't in heaven yet!
@ 1 log jump and your back will be wishing for suspension lol … I love it, thinking it’ll sink without a massive bilge. As far as being able to kill it… no not a 701… that heart will live on in the lives of many many skis to come… the hull however is another story
And my 300 is very close to heaven but not there yet…
I enjoyed this comment, Trevor understands things. Maybe he makes UA-cam videos too 🤔😉
Cool idea.

Very good you can do it ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just needs a bilge pump and it will be perfect! awesome build guys
Thanks 🍻
Puit so bow defectors on so not so much waters shoots over. Get power trim and or a drive wedge.
Dude I want to make one really bad now how do you cut the drive shaft to make it line up do you have the measurements
I just measured with a measuring tape how long to make everything. It makes sense when its in front of you.
Put a little bit more weight in the back and put in a big ass bilgepump
Give that man a jig saw.
Love it ,,yip I will have to make one to 👍🤔🤗
It was fun to build, let me know how yours turns out!
Neat build, can't believe you fit in that thing Jacob. Looks a little nose heavy, hang a battery off the back maybe?
Yeah agree, maybe try to rebalance it a little bit? But its a pretty cool build.

Dude, that fiberglass dust is gonna kill.you young!!! Get a respirator!
Yeah you're right, it does ride a little nose heavy. I've been thinking about some adjustments for that

This for sure more smiles for the buck great job!
All that work just to sit lower 😮
NO..... All that work to sit lower and be less comfortable and get blasted by water to the face.
Yes 😂
One time I would have loved seeing a Covid mask…. You scare me sir.😂 great build !
Thanks for the compliment!
Center of gravity is seriously off 😵
Foiling jet skis are the next thing. Put it on foils
Sup my brother Washingtonians! Always love the builds, let’s drop the V8 in now lol 👍🏻
I'll keep that in mind! 👍

Waiting for that nose dive

Whatever you did to appease the algorithm it had an undesirable effect. It wasn’t even in my subscription feed, had to go to your page to find it….
Yeah, that’s kind of weird.
Fiberglass dust all over your yard is super toxic and not good for you or your kids next time contain it like surfboard builders
No mask is crazy.!
No not good
This has to be iligal cuz of the gass
