They probably chose What Goes Around Comes Around to target specifically bc of how many celebrities are getting their items and bags from there. Look at Ariana Grande seen carrying a vintage Chanel Kelly instead of the newer versions. At the end of the day, ppl are easily influenced by celebrities and Chanel knows they’re going to continue to lose money.

oh PLEASE do a vlog of your visit to the Christie's showing of the Elton John items! It would be super-interesting. They've also released a catalogue of the show, it's purchasable online for 50 GBP. Also, did you know that anyone can just walk into the auction too? Like... you can just go, off the street. I think if you're planning on bidding in-person you have to pre-register, but if not, it's possible to go just for the vibes. I once went to an auction at Sotheby's, just to see what that experience is like.

Don’t have any gentle monster glasses but have looked at them a fair number of times. They are actually made specifically to fit Asian/oriental noses/nose bridges better compared with regular or other sunglass brands

Chanel had a similar lawsuit against either the real real or fashionphile (can’t remember). Everyone panicked that you wouldn’t be able to buy Chanel preloved anymore but the only thing that happened was they needed to put the disclaimer that everyone used now that there’s no affiliation with the brand. And Gucci seems to be ripping off Coach. They’ve been reworking vintage pieces and selling them in their website for a couple years now I think. Great video as usual!

I went to a Vintage Event here in Florence this weekend and one store was asking almost 2,000 Euros for a Bambù Gucci from the 70’s…I thought the bag was too old . How many years can leather survive? I had an ethical issue because I want to buy vintage but the prices are like today’s!!! I don’t know if I make sense but the bag is older than me!
