@@BrickImperial The problem with stopping trains like that is it could end up with a very messy derailment, and at higher speeds train carriages could go flying and potentially damage other parts of a lego city, and likely the train itself will be damaged too and it could fly onto other train tracks and derail other lego trains thne you have a big problem.
I just tucked them as close together as I could then just accepted the gap. The train actually didn’t have any trouble with it even on its lowest speed ✅
