Sad Peugeot have not resolved the many issues with the 508 R8 brand since its launch back in 2018, so beware of the out of line bodywork panels window drop for entry. ice up in the winter months, Stop Start issues, sunroof vibrations valve cover issues, drive shaft issues on the drivetrain on four wheel drive. The most severe issues are with the paint on the 508 R8 brand, Peugeot have cut corners by cutting down the number of coats of paint & lacquer on this model which have causes extensive stone chip damages all over the vehicle as well as the front edges of the main sills. These have been the main issues that have been brought to the attention of the owners club I'm attached to. I opened five claims with Peugeot UK & they ignored my concerns so I had to turn to the Motor Ombudsman who fought my claim against Peugeot Truscott's Exeter & they had to reimburse me over 3k
