I’ve been learning about kibbe body types and I think the reason why you feel like curved lines don’t suit you is because you’re what would be classified as Flamboyant Natural or FN. People in the natural family have to accommodate width (not the same as regular width) meaning you want to bring attention to places like your shoulders rather than curves hence the preference square necklines over curved necklines. Curved necklines bring attention to curves (not the same as what is commonly referred to as curves) and since FN don’t have a lot of it it can look slightly off.
FNs also have to accommodate their vertical (length) so longer lines that show off legs and accentuate their height look best. A lot of models are flamboyant naturals.
