For the macaroons, you guys said they were really sweet and that the coconut shouldn’t be sweetened if someone were to put chocolate on them. I’m not much of a baker, but I think maybe if they were dipped into dark chocolate, it would be best because the dark chocolate is bitter and will cut the sweetness a little. And then maybe cover the dark chocolate with flaky salt to further cut the sweetness of it. Idk, it could work lol. But I’m not all that well versed in the making of food nor the making of baked goods. 😂
Linda S LMAOO believe me I’m not. I made a Betty Crocker boxed Devil Food cake that cost me $1.50 at Walmart a few days ago and I had no idea how to ice it, but I did it anyway. But what was supposed to be a thick layer of vanilla icing (which also cost me $1.50 at Walmart lol) was more of a How To Cake It-style crumb coat. 😂 I was very, very confused. I also didn’t have a lazy Susan or an offset spatula which made icing very much harder since I iced it with a butter knife 😂
I just got my boyfriend addicted to your channel so I've spent all week rewatching your videos- not that I'm complaining!!! He says you should try some of Tasty's "Make it Fancy" series
I always make garlic naan bread with the yoghurt dough, I only add a pinch of salt more. And before I put the rolled-out naan into the medium hot pan I brush it with garlic butter or oil and put that side down first. My ratio is 1:1 with flour and yoghurt, but it also depends on the flour. I once had a yoghurt that I only needed half of. Just good honey over the donuts is also delicious. :)
Yayyyyyyyyyyyy new Rachel video! Thanks for bringing so much joy and happiness. My aunt is suffering from blood clots in her lungs so you’re helping me stay positive. Anyone who reads this, please pray. Pray.
My mom and I always make "almond joy" cookies at Christmas and it's just coconut flakes, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and thin almonds. They are SO good 😁🤤
A friend of mine taught me the “donuts out of biscuits” trick years ago. As a quick treat when my kids were little, it was easy and they liked it. I may have to try the macaroons. They looked good. I make my own bagels using Joshua Weissman’s recipe. It’s in his video and now I just keep the dry ingredients prepped and ready to go. I can have bagels ready within about 3 hours (including rising). They’re worth making.
When I was a kid, my family visited some friends out of state and for breakfast the friends showed us how to make the biscuit “donuts”. I have NEVER forgotten how good they were, or how much fun they were to make! They showed us how to take an old cool whip container (or Tupperware), put some powdered sugar in it, put the fresh donut in, put the lid back on and shake it to cover! They were wonderful. We also didn’t cut out the middle, we just poked a hole with our fingers and formed it into a donut shape. Lovely goodness!
Here in the south (of the US), fried canned biscuits were one of the first things I ever learned to make. My best friends mom taught me how to fry them and roll them in cinnamon sugar. They’re quite the hit with my hubby and family!
Rachel is so precious, Chris is adorable and together they're wholesome. I want to try a spring onion pancake with soy sauce and siracha now. Also, they eat that in Korea as a side dish and as street food, it's extremely common.
The last recipe was something like Inga from buzzfeed made called scallion pancakes and as Rachh, Inga loves her scallions too😂 Maybe Rachel should make Inga's recipe, that will be so good😍
I make the bagels all the time, and it might sound weird, but using vanilla Greek yogurt really improves it. You don’t really taste the yogurt, but it doesn’t taste sweet or anything. They’re so good!

YUM!!!!! I wanted to be there testing those with You. Anyway, I do have a favorite 2 Ingredient recipe for You to try. It is 2 Ingredient Biscuits. First, preheat your oven to 425*F. You use 2 cups of self-rising flour and 1 cup of heavy whipping cream. Mix them together just until combined. Even though it may be a dry dough just do not over mix it. Then dump out onto a very lightly floured surface. Knead it by folding it over onto itself no more then 10 times and turn it after each fold by 1/4 turn. Gently pat out or use a very lightly floured rolling pin and flatten to a half inch deep circle. Using a round cookie cutter or biscuit cutter cut out your biscuits. Place onto a parchment paper lined baking pan and put them right next to each other. Have them touching each other on a side. This will help them rise better. Re roll any scraps of dough but not touching a whole lot. Cut more biscuits. A third re rolling; You can do but the last biscuits from a third rolling will not be as light and flakey. An option making it a 3 Ingredient Biscuit is to egg wash the top of your biscuits. Check at 25-30 minutes and these should be risen and golden brown looking. Bake for 30 minutes. These are Delicious with a pat of butter and/ or a little bit of Your favorite jam. I love strawberry jam. That is it. Much better than those canned biscuits. 😊👍🏼
I love how you guys do the taste testing together but then discuss it together too. It's obvious what a happy, well balanced & compatible marriage you guys have. Great couple imo :)
