- It's a snowy morning on the farm. The pastures are pretty muddy, so Alan feeds the cows silage in the dairy barn. After getting the cows fed, Alan replaces the inflations on the milking units. He then heads out to get our second field disced that Alan plans to put oats in. The next project is to put some fertilizer down on those fields and lightly work it in with our field cultivator.

Trinity Dairy was established in 2006, in Minnesota. Alan and Jennifer farm with their 5 children; Jessica, Justin, Jordan, Joshua, and Jason. We milk a mix of 33 Jersey, Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, and Ayrshire cattle. We also enjoy sharing our family's love of Draft Horses and using them for logging and other farm work. Dairy Farming in Minnesota can be challenging, but it's a lifestyle we really enjoy. Subscribe today to watch our small family dairy farm and family grow while continuing to thank our Lord for the blessings we've been given.

U have a lot to be proud of your family
I am extremely jealous, that ground of yours is beautiful!!
😂 we’re so glad
You shaved
Praise the Lord for your beautiful rain! Green is such a nice color for growing plants. Of course, tractors should be red, but I'm glad God made the grass green.
That corn silage looks real good chopped nice I can almost smell it lol
Another great video...Jordan seems to enjoy driving the wheelbarrow.
Pushes that wheel barrow pretty good 😊
Howdy Allan, I hope ya'll are doing well,
It's been awhile since I've seen you disking with both wings down, looks good, and ya gotta love it when you turn the field black, a beautiful sight for sure, to bad we can't smell it, that's something I look forward to every spring on our Farm, gotta love that smell too lol another good video ya'll, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
Idc what anyone says those bags make some outstanding corn silage that stuff looks beautiful
Thanks your efforts enjoyed your video. Have a great day.
Very nice job and God bless y'all
Please keep making the videos that show everything that it takes to make the farm work. Non farmers need to see it and ALL the work involved. I have always considered the air compressor one of the most worked pieces of equipment on the farm because it seems that any time you try and do something then you have a flat tire. Doesn’t make good sense to change tires on a piece of equipment that only works a couple 3 weeks out of year so it’s crucial to keep a good air compressor around 😊
Hey, a hair cut and shaved. You look like a respectable farmer now.
A good soaking always brings peace of mind I bet. I actually like the nuts and bolts, day to day tractor work and moving down the silo unloader type videos. Wish I could be doing it. Thanks for bringing us along.
Good work 👍
Happy Earth Day everyone!
That 12 sounds awesome when its getting it work out .
As a boy we used to use the old inflations to throw at each other while riding our bikes. It was a simpler time
I remember me and my sister, throwing pieces of corn cob, at each other, when the cows were out of the barn.
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊
Great video Al . It’s always good when the seed is going in the ground 👍 . God Bless
Disking up nice! Looks like you got guidance on that rig!
Any moisture is welcome I"m sure.
Call Alan you don't have to have everything exciting I just get off watching what goes into you know getting the field ready and planting and fertilizing and that's always fun I really look forward to the spring and I also look forward to the fall when you start harvesting that's really cool too it's all cool it's all good I love watching it all keep the good videos coming bro.
It’s been hot and dry here in N/E Colorado..We have had to irrigate the triticale twice with the center pivot. People are just starting to plant corn and oats here.
Good job
Thanks for sharing bleed you and family nice rain came
Great job Jordon!!!
Alan are home place is about half sandy loam , the other half is heavy black soil. The Little Arkansas River is about 1/4 mile from the house. The house and yard sit on the high corner. We need rain here.
The ole 12 knows that disc is behind it with the wings down.
It actually pulled easier with the wings down.
You mention going to work (school bus driver). Reminds me of the last day of school when we used to go out the back door of the bus. So beware of such pranks.
Judging by the puddles i see, looks like you got quite a bit of rain. Before the rain got to us we got 12 acres in the ground. We hope gor a good growing season but the way the winter we had, one can never be too sure.
I love your channel im young aspiring farmer got free Oliver 660 tractor brush hog mower 2 row pull type corn planter and disc
Good luck!
Getting some seeding done here too but avoiding the tillage, its still dry.
Hi Jordan.
Learning some things
I grew up on a dairy farm in lime ridge Wisconsin we had a 560 diesel pulled 5 bottom plow and we had one 1256 in the country only..our neighbors bought a new 856 in Reedsburg Wisconsin from berring imp..I dreamed of the neighbors 12..he restored his like new after 30 years of farming it was the best tractor in the world every made...affordable..fuel efficient..not fuel sucker 4020..you can fix the braked yourselves at home..try that with your deer..youll have thousands of dollars in the brakes alone..good luck young man get yourself a 706 German diesel and put a 234 picker on it and save yourself a lot of grief combines you need the ground rar corn attachment for it you dont need to get shelled corn ever again
GOOD❤ FOR ❤ YOU ❤!!! WE ALL NEED THE MOISTURE SLOWLY 😊😊😊 EVEN DOWN HERE BY LE SUEUR MN 😊😊😊
The olde 12 still in her working clothes and she's working fine
I remember milking cows some farmers would hang a barn cleaner chain link on the unit to get cows to milk out. Then they lightened up the units it’s better for the cows. They are always changing things. Another question is why is it that one side of your disc leaves a higher ridge than the other? The right side will leave a higher ridge than the left side
I'm not sure why that is.
Put that 1066 on those disk
That's a good going old international. Would u not paint it up a bit, and do you leave them outside or do you have a big shed for them .
I don't have a shed for them right now.
Wow love this video that disk cuts very good what model number is it and I love the red power 1206😍
I think it's a bwa.
My bday is Saturday the 27th
Alan. Does that silage smell as good as it looks?
Yeah
Love the dirt after the disc! Was that corn last year because it turned up nicely. Great IH roar😊. Nice to see seeding to come.
That ground was oats last year
Nice video. Will the oats be harvested just for the oat grain or will it be baleage?
We're hoping grain
Jen, who is that man and what did you do to Allen?😂
I will say I was the one who told her to shave it all off.
Are you planting any forage oats or are they grain oats
Grain oats
👍👍❤️🇨🇦
