This is great! I'm amazed at how consistently you nail the focus when so much is in motion.
This is like meditation. Photowalk in NYC is my dream . And your images are perfectly amazing with these Lomo 800.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed, I really loved how this film captured new york. Stay tuned for more nyc photo walks on the channel 😌
What a great video. So chill. Loved how you worked with people, too. I'm just starting to dare to ask people for portraits. Great to see how you got it done.
Hey Jared, I really enjoyed this! Cool people you met, I love it!
Agh thanks so much for watching man! Glad you enjoyed it 😌🙏🏻 this was a super fun night
I love your interactions, especially with the group of 4. They seemed like nice people. Although I'm not sure if you were caught off guard in the moment (photo on stoop) but you but cut the Asian lady off at her knee and her friend with the glasses at the ankles! I'm all for breaking rules but I kind of could have like to get the full body in there. Sorry to be critical. Overall, nice photo. I love how the blacks turned out in the image.
I'm shooting on an AE-1 too. Great to see others enjoying this camera.
😍
Another amazing video! You’re always killing the uploads!
Thanks so much! I'm trying to be more consistent with uploads moving forward, so I appreciate this
Very cool film stock. I always wanted to try the fd mount. Who would have guessed that in 2023 a sought after camera would be 46 years old. I want one too. Keep up the awesome photos. ( don’t forget the 24mm pancake 🥞)
Oh man this was my first time trying it and I lovee the look of it, definitely wanna use it more. And I absolutely love this camera/lens combo...it really is funny, this was my first film camera that I had my eye on for a while and was so excited to get one. Usedphotopro is a great website to check if you're looking. Thanks so much! The 24mm pancake video is coming soon (:
So cool how smoothly all your interactions with people went. Is there a reason you don't take any in portrait/vertical?
Was definitely a fun night of running into people. Honestly, it depends on the photo! Looking back on this video now, when I took the photo of the group on the stairs, I would do it vertical today. Something about shooting film and street photography made me want to switch it up and try horizontal for a while, so that was contributing as well
That skateboarder shot 🙌
One of my favorites from the night 😌 thanks for watching!
Just discovered your channel and subscribed! Really like this video and the vibe to it. I like your pics too of course. Looking forward to watching more of your videos and seeing more of your photos! Keep up the great work! 👍🏻😊
Aghh thanks so much! Means a lot to hear 😌Thanks for watching and sticking around, more videos on the way!
Great video as always. Such a pleasure no Leica M6 being used.
Thanks so much!! oh man yeah...leica just a little bit out of the budget 😂
Awesome shots, Jared! Love the vibes here!
Thanks so much Hugo! Appreciate it! 😌🙏🏻
@@winslow_j My pleasure!
Loved this video Jared! Nailed the vibe 📸🔥
Thank you Justin! I appreciate it 😄🙏🏻
It was awesome bro. Do next film street photo-walk with flash. Its gonna be really good I think
Thank you!! Oh man, I don't think I'm bold enough for flash yet 😂might need a little time on that one, and also not sure if flash would work with how I like to shoot of staying a little more discrete. Definitely wanna try it one day though!
this is sick! keep it up bro!❤🔥
Appreciate it man 😌🙏🏻 thanks so much!
Great shots!
Thanks so much! 😄 had a blast shooting here
another great video bro good work
Means a lot man 😌 thank you!!
Great video! Were these photos edited in Lightroom at all? Or straight off the roll?
Thanks so much! These were straight off the roll! No editing
You gotta start getting some "business" cards when people ask for the photos are you taking lol
Agh yeah this is something I slack on 😅I've been out of them for the longest time but it would be a really good idea just to have a few on hand at least when I go out haha
Very nice pictures, do you edit them afterwards or are those just out of camera?
Thank you!! These were straight out of camera, I really love the way this film stock looks
Winslow! Awesome work bro. There’s always so much going on out there. Really enjoyed the portraits especially 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you man!! Appreciate it! 🙏🏻 Agh yeah you literally never know what you're gonna run into haha so excited about the violin one
Loved watching this walk round, great video and photos!! Out of interest what focal length was the lens?
Agh thanks so much!! I appreciate that and you watching. This was the 50mm 1.8!
Nice POV
Thanks so much! 🙏🏻
I love this so much, I'm looking forward to more of these! Whats with the light leaks tho? I mean it still looks cool, just wondering if its on purpose or you know where they come from since I own an AE-1 myself and have had problems with it :D
Aghh thanks so much! I appreciate it 😄definitely more on the way. And oh man you have them too?! They've been slowly getting worse over time with mine. I had a friend tell me that it means the light seals in the camera are wearing out, and it can be fixed by getting the seals replaced. It's been a battle for me between kinda liking how they look, vs wondering when it's time to get it fixed haha it's a hit or a miss but most of the time just ends up looking cool
Just found this channel, love your videos! What lens do you use?
Aghh thanks so much! Means a lot. I was using a 50mm lens in this one!
What focal length did u use? And what f stop?
This was a 50mm F1.8! And the f stop changed depending on what I was shooting and how the lighting was, so it was a handful of different ones
what lens did you have on it? This was super fun to watch
Thank you!! Glad you liked it. I was using a 50mm 1.8
Hi, I have this camera. How do we know that our subject is in focus??
Hi! So when you focus with the focus ring, you'll see almost like 2 versions of the subject you're focusing on. You want to adjust the focus until both versions of the subject line up, and that's when your subject will be in focus. When the lines match. Hope that helps!
