I'm feeling like the babies favorite squeeze/noise toy would have given you a baby look. Love your content!

This was a great teaching moment as I never thought of concentrating on one little at a time to get them to look at the camera in a group shoot. I learned that eye swaps are easier than head swaps. When someone’s eyes are closed but everything else is perfect. Let me know what you think.

How do you do the face swaps?

I just joined your behind the scenes group- but have my first paid session Sunday.
This is an extended family lifestyle shoot outdoors, but they want a few group shots.
I have a Canon 5d Mark III. Was planing to use my 35 mm, 50mm and 85mm lens for the shoot. My question is- how in the world do you get them all in focus at f2.8? did you line up their feet carefully so they are all on the same plane? what focus settings (61 point, etc) are you using? i try raising my aperture up to f4 and often still may have one person but not both/all in focus?

Great video! I love all the tips you give. I have a couple questions. Do you always shoot in high continuous release mode to take as many photos as possible as quickly as possible? Also, do you use single-point focusing and place your focus point on the eyes of the most center/closest person in the photo? Lastly, do you use back-button focusing or shutter focusing?

Also one more question. Since I don't have any portfolio, it's hard to advertise to a larger audience, I have taken some free sessions for family and friends, but any tips on this? How to advertise mini sessions if there is no example or previous work?

Bubbles are a huge hit with kids. Enough said.

Thanks for the video! Do you provide templates for invoices/contracts/communication with clients if I take your class? That's what I want to learn about :)
