    Very good review, thanks, but, 2:00 , less vibration is also pretty good? why? Can you do a review of Acoustic no carbon (SG handle is the best...), Acoustic carbon inner and Acoustic Carbon? it would be nice

    • @washingtondctabletennis6142
      @washingtondctabletennis6142  2 роки тому +1

      Vibration can be either good or bad depending on if you like vibration or not. Some people prefer vibration as it gives more feedback and touch. If the blade is too smooth, you will not feel anything when you hit the ball and you will not be able to have as good control. I like a little bit of vibration because then I can feel the ball on the racket. Videos are very costly to make and don’t generate revenue. We try to make the ones that are in most demand. I will make a short acoustic carbon video just for you. It may not be the best quality or have the best editing, but we will do it for you.

    Yeah i too enjoyed the review alot. I also like feedback, so far the Gewo Robles Hinoki is my best feeling blade, but not necassarilly the one I play best with, I tend to play better with harder and stiffer blades which is a bummer since I do love me some feedback. ;)

    I use Timo Boll ALC for a few years... Recently I want to try other blades. Do you recommend I change blade to Viscaria or Viscaria Super ALC?

    • @washingtondctabletennis6142
      @washingtondctabletennis6142  2 роки тому +6

      Viscaria is exactly the same as Timo Boll ALC. If you’d like a change, then go with the Super ALC.

      @@washingtondctabletennis6142@ washingtondctabletennis6142 I tried both and Viscaria seems to be a touch softer than Timo Boll ALC. The composition may be the same but the feeling might be different due to other things like the handle.

    How long do ALC fibres need to break in? Does it mean it will get softer and have more dwell over time?

    • @washingtondctabletennis6142
      @washingtondctabletennis6142  Рік тому

      It usually takes a few weeks to break in. It does get a little softer with slightly more dwell over time.

    • @aerotus888

      @@washingtondctabletennis6142 that's great. Because I have a new one and it's nowhere as dwelly as my friends one who I tested and that convinced me to get it.

    • @aerotus888
      @aerotus888 Рік тому

      Turns out the reason it wasn't as dwelly was because his had 1.9mm T64fx and I thought he had 2.1mm T64fx. The 1.9mm is much easier to control and doesn't go off the table as easily.

      @@washingtondctabletennis6142i know you were salty about it but comment has merit.
      Your partner indeed had better technique and may be you can learn from him. No need to wait for strangers to show up to teach you.
      Check ma long's forhand and check your partner's forehand. They are very similar in style. Also most high level players hit that way. There might be a reason for it.
      The way you forehand many people hit (i do too when tired)

    • @washingtondctabletennis6142
      @washingtondctabletennis6142  Рік тому +1

      Maybe it’s difficult and too nuanced for some people to understand. Clearly there is a difference in reality and how you are processing. Ma Long? The video is an equipment review. So I am feeling the ball and getting feedback, not training. It is not my equipment or what I use. I use a totally different rubber in my forehand that requires a totally different technique. Ma Long uses Chinese rubber and therefore has a totally different swing path and body weight transfer etc. Which is how I play my forehand when I am also using Chinese rubber in fh. Also, I had a strained groin muscle but I still filmed the video because it’s AN EQUIPMENT REVIEW, not a forehand technique video or a training video. So there is no weight transfer and I’m just using my arm to FEEL the ball. Do you know the difference in level between the person I was hitting with and myself? You seem to be an expert on table tennis. Have you been paid to test equipment? Have you been paid to use equipment? Which leagues have you played? Are you a professional coach? Do you get paid to play? Are you a national champion? Have you been on a national team? How many national teams have paid you for coaching? Please send videos of your perfect technique. I always love to learn from the experts.
