@@2424MM I thought it was just me. You see, I'm a Spanish speaker, and I notice his pronunciation (and style) is great, but he does show a bit of an accent. For some reason, Italian suits him a lot better. He even reminds me of Andrea Bocelli. 😊

During the early 2000s I was stationed in the Middle East with the US Army. In the evenings, while performing weapons maintenance, I would put on my headphones and listen to music. Josh Groban was, and continues to be one of my favorites. Per Te always gave me hope I would come back home and be with the love of my life. During the day time, while on operations and driving my truck, I would sing Per Te to myself. It was very soothing. This song will always be one of my very favorites. Thank you so much for uploading it.

Every single time I hear Josh sing, it reminds me of my grandfather I never knew. I've only heard stories, He was an excellent singer. My father tells me, that he made grown men cry. I have been told I have a very nice voice. I believe that it's due to my Grandfather. I know that even he's not physically here on Earth he's still watching over me. In his honor, I'm trying to learn a good handful of American and Italian songs. And hopefully, sing in my High School's talent show.
I consider myself fairly strong emotionally so how is it listening to Josh Groban sing - especially Per Te - completely bring me to my knees? The man's voice, in my opinion, is as close to perfection as it can be. Also, major kudos to his orchestra, vocal coach(es) and everyone else involved who makes this possible!

I don't know if she's american or not (you're assuming too much) but in English "the best" doesn't mean necessarily "the best", but it can be "my favorite". To me he's "the best", even though there are better singers, because to me he has the most beautiful voice, I love the majority of his songs (those wrote by him, the ones other people wrote for him and the covers he has done), he is a great piano player, he is a great person and the way he talks about music inspires me and a lot of Grobanites.

Love this song and Josh's vocal on it. The 2004 AOL Sessions performances are probably my favorite performances of his ever, and that's saying a lot because I love his voice. Those performances were so heartfelt and passionate.
There are also AOL Sessions from 2002 and he sang "Gira Con Me (Questa Notte)" and "Vincent". I don't remember if it was another one. I think he sang 3, but I'm not sure. Look it up. It was gorgeous!
In the world we live today...it is refreshing to hear a song that reflects something that has a pure innocence and beauty about it. I get so very tired of hearing the garbage in songs these days...and I always go and listen to Josh to escape from it. Many years ago I lived in Africa and on tzheri TV channel (Sauth Africa) they often showed music vidos between 2 programs. And than I saw Josh for the first time. His voice took me by storm and the same day I went to the store to get his CD. His 1st and his 2nd album where so unbelievable good that I listend to them over and over again for many weeks. But then his next CDs couldn´t reach me like he did with his 1st and 2nd. But I stil love to listen to this old songs of him.

I'm a classic rock/metal fan mostly but discovered Josh's music through my mom! Has a great voice,no question about that.
He didn't "choose" to sing this song: he and Walter Afanasieff wrote the melody and Marco Marinangeli wrote the lyrics.
Josh has perfect control of the gift God has given him. Such a master. I feel stunned every time I hear this. It’s addicting.

How could I missed this singer, his voice is a combination of Andrea Boceli and Pavarotti at the same time.
I hope you explore his music. It's simply beautiful and he's a great guy. Funny and talented.
Many years ago I lived in Africa and on tzheri TV channel (Sauth Africa) they often showed music vidos between 2 programs.
And than I saw Josh for the first time. His voice took me by storm and the same day I went to the store to get his CD.
His 1st and his 2nd album where so unbelievable good that I listend to them over and over again for many weeks. But then his next CDs couldn´t reach me like he did with his 1st and 2nd. But I stil love to listen to this old songs of him.
