Oh! I had the exact opposite reaction - his version of this song had me ignoring his discs for 20 years. Not because he sucked, but because he touched my heart during a time of high grief. And I was afraid to listen for almost 20 years. I am better now! 😊😂

18 years ago my baby was 3 months old every night crying and restless. Then i played it when it was on cassete ya, i played Josh with the sound a little louder, my child calmed down and was able to sleep with Josh's song which i played over and over again all night and every night.
And today 11 July 2024 at 10am i played this song again because it appeared on my UA-cam homepage. Thank you Josh for the best song.

This album was incredible. I have since learned several of these songs on piano and I absolutely love playing them. Josh and Bocelli were the first artist I heard in a foreign language that I couldn't stop listening to. You didn't have to know what the words translated to with them. The music alone made them worth listening to.

I’m a lot like that guy I’ve heard you tell a story about who was the bully, and once he heard you sing, came up to you and said, “that was pretty cool bro”. Anyway, I’m facing my own mortality with endstage heart failure at age 55. Lived way too hard for decades. Both my brothers have pre-deceased me also, one disease one murdered. Discovered Josh 19 years ago...my dad had just been diagnosed with myeloma (sadly he died 3 months later) I was staying with a friend who was playing my confession and I was hooked.
