John Frusciante of The Red Hot Chili Peppers (who grew up as a huge fan of Duran Duran) plays lead guitar on the recording of What Are The Chances? from the Paper Gods album. He also plays on three other tracks on Paper Gods (released 2015): Butterfly Girl, The Universe Alone & Northern Lights.
John Frusciante despite being a rocker he has a soft spot on the music existing at the time of his growing up.He alsopaid his dues by doing a cover on The Bee Gees (how deep is your love') and Abba's SOS while being on tour with the Peppers.
I MELT!What a beauuutiful song and how great Simon does handle this.Thank you guys for reacting to this. This album has lots of gems.Btw i love that black backing vocalist. That lady was also in 3 of their gigs i had attented. She sounds great and she is beautiful.
@@debbieburris9453 Oh!She's reaaaaly good and i remember i had even noticed her silvery green eye shadow since i was front rows on those gigs.i Enjoyed her presence and both voice and ,figure..Spotted her twice in 2005 and once in 2012.Thank you Debbie!.
@@alexioverdo5225 you're welcome! She is still with them, I just saw them at the end of August @ Wonderbus Festival 🎉🎶 She has her own album out, & she helps with Doms' band too. Take care 🙂
love that they are still going strong as they got so much stick as being a teeny bopper band in the 1980's due to so many young girls being in love with Simon, my daughter was one of them so we had to like them
They've always written great salads. Try "Save a Prayer" "The Chauffeur" "Seventh Stranger" "Palomino" "Matter of Feeling" as well as one you have already done "Ordinary World"
What a magical, stunning live performance.Magnificent.With totally live strings and stuff.I immediately got hooked on this first time i heard this same way you two did.Thank you for reacting i reeaaally enjoyed this with you.

This is one of my favourite songs! Please listen to their album Paper Gods. He didn’t do the really high bit though that gets me every time I hear it on the album. They miss a bit out here. Love Duran Duran!
I can’t believe they didn’t give Roger room on the couch. What kind of half baked set up was this? 😂 Those boys looking good as new. I swear they have vampire in their lineage. Beautiful song and those vocals. Holy 💩!!

Duran is timeless
Dom Brown the guitarist here has been touring with the band and recorded in a few of their albums since when Andy left. Dom is amazing!
All these guys are in their mid to early 60’s. Still looking and sounding great. Simon’s voice is better then ever as he’s aged.

It's one of my favorite tracks from Paper God's! But what are the chances that I love the whole album and accompanying tour!
Had the privilege to see them on this tour at Red Rocks. They went hard.
This song is from their hit album Paper Gods. That album is amazing!

Great song class 👌👌👌
wow thanks duran duran and you for reacts
It wasn't the whole piece but it was smaller for the needs of the show. Watch the whole thing, it's fantastic.
The next day they were performing this song in Paris when the terror attacks happened at five different places, e.g. Bataclan.
😍🤩❤️

Btw the guitar parts were written by John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Guys! You should react to Elvis Presley 68 Comeback Special Trouble/Guitar man opening! You’d love that! 👏🏻⚡️🎸
In all these interviews they always ignore John and Roger.
Watch live earth performance
It's not a stand-up bass. It's called a cello...
