    He gets so much attention, rightfully so, for being an outstanding and superb instrumentalist, especially with the guitar, but he was also a truly gifted singer in his prime. This is a beautiful example. Well done.

      I miss my dad too-he died almost 40 years ago, I wish I has my sons before he passed on.

    Beautiful. I first heard this song when Steve Wariner recorded it. Then I learned Bill Anderson wrote it. Did not know until his passing of Roy Clark's version. Thank you for posting this.

    For me I prefer Don Cherry's version then Roy Clarke,s It's a lovely song.
