Right on the money. The breakout is very beautiful but not good for a long ride unfortunately. Terrible handling. Making mods on the bars takes away from the look. Maaaan I miss the sound of the 103 😥 Honestly thinking of getting a 103 for a back up bike because the m8 is a bit depressing

The positives with the m8 outweigh the positives with the twincam I reckon. Both are great bikes in their own right but the streetbob suits me better. Im with you mate Id also love to own another 103 they sound incredible 👍

Love my breakout. Cruising around town, it's awesome. Get a lot of thumbs up/ looks etc. On the highway, and long trip. O so much.

Good review! The M8 definitely feels more refined and less chunky but beside the feeling the new components are much more robust. They somehow managed to make the engine feel smoother whilst it's also beefier. I do miss the more mechanical aspect though.

Great Vid !! 2014 breakout here , 100% agree on all points!. It would appear that your regional road works department are sleeping on the job...

🤣🤣🤣🤣 these country roads are sketchy as hell

Its a bike for the straight line. That 240 rear in a roundabout always wants to stand up. But the new cableless throttle is awesome and with a Bassani 2 into 1 pipes for the breakout are WOW.
Overall the bike looks like a Harley thats why it outsold the Vrod

In my opinion they are the by far the best looking Harley going. I always said the breakout would be my next bike if I ever got rid of the softail slim but after riding it, I just wasn't sold on the way it handles.

I agree about the sound. I love my 19 road king special but miss my old fat Bob 103 sound. Adding a cam to the m8s does help a lot though!!

Yeah nice 🤙🤙🤙🤙, I cant wait to put a torque can in my street bob 👍

Agree, the twinkys sound 👌. Slap a cam in your Street Bob, it'll sound so much better.
    Great vid mate 🤙.

Thanks man, the torque cam is Definantly the next expensive mod on the list for the street bob 👍

They do sound good, but I mean the 2 valve head sounds a bit cringe in 2020. I’m extremely happy with my Milwaukee 8. The new softail frame and suspension is miles ahead. I’ll probably get a cam eventually to chunk it up but it still sounds chunky considering how smooth they make them. And the oil cooled heads are a big plus. So much cooler to ride on. That’s why i didn’t get an older generation Harley. I felt Harley made too many improvements all around to ignore.

It's the same thing as riding a sports bike long distance, your back would hurt like hell but breakout would be way more comfortable for me coming from a R1

I bought a brand new fxbr. I had to test ride before I bought it cuz of all the bad handling hype talk. IMO, it's way to eggagerated. Don't handle bad at all. I love mine.

Totally agree with you; they're the best looking Harleys, they have that absolute Don't give a F*** attitude about them. It was my "dream bike" but the handling.. it just didn't make practical sense for my type of riding. Excellent vids mate, keep 'em coming.

The old breakout's were bad the my 18 and up are good there not the best handling ride Harley makes but there a big improvement on the old ones anyway make another good vlog and props to your step dad his bike looks and sounds Awesome.

Thanks brother 🤙I can imagine the newer model breakout rides much better with the new frame. The big 21 inch front wheel and massive rear will always affect the handling, But thats why they look so good. I'll have to test ride the newer model breakout some time 🤙

@lane johnson That's Awesome I have no problem with you liking the old Breakout better. I like the new ones better it's just a personal preference but cheers enjoy mate Harleys are all good to me.

@@TheGingybeardManWho cares how much it costs. Oil change will cost you $600 done by HD. Now that is crime. I'm expecting a grand for the rubber.
