shouldve tested against a 4060ti 16 gb version, with its price dropped to $400 where i live its looking like a very good option.
Unfortunately, i don't have the 16GB version. But based on the reviews I have read, the difference is very minimal, and only in games that requires more VRAM benefits the 16GB variant.
@@hardwarevsgaming The difference is actually pretty significant in the cases where the 8gb vram is exceeded which is becoming quite the case with a lot of the newer released titles. And you know there are more uses for a GPU than just gaming right? For creators like me who do animation, rendering and ai work like stable diffusion the 16gb Variant is a solid budget option.
My friend. That's not even a debate. 8GB = bad value if higher than 200$.
8GB with 2024 game = bad value
8GB with 1440p monitor = bad value.
And the 4070 cost more than the 7800XT with lower performance.
@@FireCestina1200 I kid you not, but a few days ago UA-cam algorithm recommended me a video where the guy was saying 8gb of vram is totally fine and acceptable in 2024 😳
@@hardwarevsgaming
Ya in 2024 it's ok
@@thunderp1719 no, for 2k gaming 8gb was not enough even in last year. There are plenty of benchmarks focused on 8gb vram.
@@TheMrSatyricon
Did anyone talked about 2k here?
8gb is OK for 1440p for most of the games till now and it'll take atleast 2years to make this 8gb go widely problematic from 1440p while apart from that if games keep on demanding more vram than atleast I'm not fool enough to just go on spending my bucks to cover these gaming requirements..rest all depends on individual choices
@@thunderp1719 do you have 8gb card? I had 3070ti from summer 2022 and I started to have troubles with VRAM even at the start of 2023, by the end of 2023 it started being pure disaster.
