- Hello and welcome to a new flight report. Today we are flying with a brand new Norwegian B737 Max 8 from Munich to Copenhagen.
About the Max 8:
The B737 Max family was grounded for a long time because 2 B737 Max 8 crashed. 1 in October 2018 (Lion Air) and one in march 2019 because of an trim issue. More then 400 people died.
From the second date on All B737 Max got grounded.
After nearly 2 Years later, the Max is now allowed to fly again and is one of the safest Aircrafts.

Many hate and fear the MAX 8. However... Am I the only one who finds it so relaxing and cool to ride?
Norwegian never went bankrupt. But the longhaul operation was terminated as a result of Covid. . The airline received just 1/3 in loan guaranties, compared to SAS. As the Swedish and Danish governments refused . Today Norwegian is up and running in a profiable way. Unlike rival SAS, who still is near bankrupt.
It’s crazy that SAS is still not profitable, must be bad leadership or something. Even Finnair has been posting positive results, and they had to endure both the pandemic and the loss of their asian strategy.
