Another great video from my favorite channel. I love the Yachty. It was my first Rolex. I have a 16622 (not gold) and it is my most wearable watch. I’ve had it for 18 years. Just had it serviced for the first time last year and it looks great. I think this watch is so undervalued right now and it’s a great deal of what you want is precious metal (the 16622 is platinum and stainless). When I get the bug for gold, the 16628 is the one I’ll pick up.
Hey Chris I've always wondered about the solid 18 karat gold Rolex watches i.e. taking the back off... Not that I'm ever going to own one but I imagine it would have to be done extremely carefully inasmuch as 18 carat is pretty soft and I imagine it would be easy to damage the teeth on the back where the wrench would grip it. Do you know if they use a special wrench for it?
18K gold is harder than you’re thinking…the case back wrench is not going to damage anything. To dent 18K you need to hit it HARD. It’s only 75% gold. The other 25% is copper, silver and nickel which makes the gold pretty freaking hard.
Definitely an impressive watch. Excellent review Chris! I love the way you come up with different and very interesting Rolex watches every single time! I never took into account the Rolex DateJust actually I always thought it was just an ugly Rolex. But after your reviews l have learnt to appreciate the DateJust and I lam ooking to own one a day! Keep it up Sir!

Hopefully one day I'll have a yacht, and a Rolex. I will then make people on said yacht call me Yacht Master.
Great review! I'm a huge fan of MOP dials and would love to see you review more models with them 👍

What years did they produce mop dials?
Always considered the Yachtmaster a slightly bulked up Submariner. Very heavy to wear as theres a lot packed in along with being solid hold
I would love to own that watch. Love the look of this watch!
Love the Rolex Yacht Master review Christopher. That's alot of gold👍
How much was the yacht master original price in 2000?
Love this piece, a work of art. Although too flashy for me, I truly find it beautiful. I wear a much more understated platinum dial YM 116622.
That's cool man.The white dial is the one for me.

That I'm not sure of. Good question to ask a watchmaker next time I run into one.

thats one brill watch... that dial is to die for lol cheers
What a cool looking watch! But I still like the submariner better! Cheers!

Love the yachtmaster, prefer the blue dial though 👍🏻
That dial fits its ocean / yacht use as it looks like a seashell
at 3 minutes the second hand jumped. WTH?
Video editing.
@@itscomplicatedwatches I see. seems no one picked that up.
That looks a lot like a" solid yellow gold yacht master with a mother of pearl dial". Lol. Great watch, great video. Cheers
Solid video!
Ruby 🔥
Just seen a good presidential day date pre-owned for $14,000 it looked beat to help but it's a rolex.
Probably the best bang per buck in the + $10000 range.
Still butthurt that you got called up out on your ugly invicta collection huh
@@PhatkatCollections my rolex datejust 16220 says differently.
@@PhatkatCollections this Rolex is still worth a third of your entire collection of shitty invictas.
