A heartfelt congratulations on reaching 1000 subscribers Tengy! There are so few reactors who review old movies, really, a small handful, and you are the only one who reviews the really old stuff which are my favorite films of all. In my personal opinion, the period from the late 1800s to 1949 are the greatest films ever made. I continually suggest to many Generation Z and Millennial reactors to review very early films but they are reluctant. Some consider "The Wizard of Oz" or "Casablanca" to be their oldest films they've reacted to. Oh, if they only knew the type of films that you have on your channel. One millennial recently reviewed "Metropolis" (1927) and she absolutely loved it. I recommended it to her months ago and I'm glad that she was able to witness this marvelous masterpiece. ❤️ I recommend your channel to other lovers of old timey films and will continue to do so. Before you know it, you'll hit the 5,000, the 10,000 and maybe even the 50,000 mark in the future. I'm rooting for you and wish you so much success on your channel. 🤗🤗🤗😙 📽❤️
Thanks so much John - I really appreciate your support of this channel and all the fantastic comments you leave - always interesting, always positive. I really appreciate having subscribers like you :)
Congratulations Tengy for your first 1000 subscribers, I hope you have many thousands more and continue making your great movie videos that are priceless to me.
Thank you so much Marco - I appreciate that you have been one of my earliest subscribers and your comments are always interesting and very much appreciated. Thanks for supporting this channel :)
@@TengyTalksTVMovies Thanks for your answer Tengy I hope you continue to make many videos on your great channel, these old series and movies that you mention are priceless, they are of great value. Greetings. 💙💜❤
Fantastic Tengy!! BIG congratulations! I love your channel. It was initially your reviews on The Goodies that lured me to finding your channel before finding so much more screen related subject matter. Such informative, fun content that continues to get better and better. 1000 subscribers is wonderful. It's a milestone figure I'm sure will grow as more people discover the fantastic, always interesting content you have here. And of course, without doubt, it all works thanks to you Tengy. You have a great presenting style. You're honest, humorous and real. Thank you for all you do here!
Congratulations Tengy.Proud to be amongst your number. That is 700 hundred more people than the Spartans had to defend Thermopylae. What a difference that might have made. From providing me with a Goodies guide to refresh my distant memories of a childhood favourite. To showcasing a watch along to bizarre silent shorts that I never knew existed. Now The Twilight Zone episode reviews.Another personal favourite. You provide very thoughtful and well considered commentary on your chosen subjects. I like your movie reviews very much.Anyone who recommends the Joan Collins episode of Tales from the Crypt for Christmas viewing has got my support.Thank you.Have a good day.And send my regards to da monkey.
@@TengyTalksTVMovies Thank you for the enjoyable videos.Last night I celebrated your 1000 by watching your Kelly Gang 1906 commentary.Sad to see that only fragments survive of such a famous film. At least you provided some good information. That helped.Thank you for your reply.
I don't see why this can't continue to grow as the content is great and always has been. I remember when you were on 666 subscribers. It doesn't seem that long ago and here we are at 1000 subs! Well done, Tengy. Greetings from sunny Queensland. We love you.
Well done Tengy. I kept an eye on the number of subs you were getting each time you posted a clip, and they were/are continually going upwards. Your personality, choice of videos, and concise reviews, make for a winning combination!😘
Belated congratulations on your milestone! You never dissapoint in showcasing so many weird, wonderful and downright obscure gems (at least to me) from the recesses of a largely neglected if not forgotten era of film-making. The likes of which (if not socially for many obvious reasons which you are always on point to highlight in your dissections) artistically still stand up. Roll on the 10 k + !!
Thank you so much for your wonderfully encouraging comments. I really appreciate it, and it please me very much to know that you enjoy my selections. Thanks again for your support :)
Congratulations on reaching one thousand. I like your charming commentary. You have introduced me to some things I never heard of before, like “The Dancing Pig”. That was a frightening costume and pretty complex. I would like to see you review a mid-seventies (I think 1974) movie called “Dark Star”. It’s a very special film. You run a good channel. I look forward to more of your posts.
Thanks very much Richard! I will look into Dark Star it sounds very intriguing. I wonder if it might have partly inspired the series Quark, which took an equally irreverent attitude to sci-fi?
Hi Bob! I'm so sorry to hear you've been caught up in the hurricane. I hope everything is ok and that you and your family/friends are safe. When you say full-length movie reactions, do you mean like the edited movie reactions I post here? Or do you mean like something longer not so edited?
@@TengyTalksTVMoviesNot so much the 7 minute film reviews that you did in your first year. Half-hour to an hour type of movie reactions are good and entertaining. Your niche appears to be classic horror and sci-fi movies, rather than recent films. I could give you suggestions from each decade, if you like. This way we get to see and hear more of you, as well as the film. Much like you were doing before you got into the shorts. Not that I didn't like the shorts, but I'm a movie buff and based on many of these commentaries, your subscribers are too!. PS...Lost my car to storm surge and power for a week.
@@bobmessier5215 I'm so sorry you lost your car! How awful. Glad you like the film reactions. I will be doing more of those, in addition to my Twilight Zone reviews, and some other series I have coming up too. Thanks for your comments :) Good luck replacing your car.
