It’s nice to see people rescuing trucks from their possible graves. These old trucks are getting harder and harder to find because the earth is taking back the truck. Slowly destroying it in the process. Or people just outright destroying them for fun. Man it makes me sad. Hope one day these trucks will see the open highway again. The good news is that this one will. Long live the American automobile!
Amazing truck! My late dad had a brand new '78 Lil' Red Express right before I was born and always talked highly of these old MoPar muscle trucks. And the Warlock is much more rare. Just freakin awesome man, thank you for the memories.
Talk about a righteous salvage--old Dodge with a 440 no less. That winch had some kind of power, since at least two brakes must have been completely frozen after sitting for almost three decades.
I wouldn't mind seeing a video after you guys fixed thr Dodge Warlock. I remember when I was a kid my grandfather had a Dodge Warlock. I loved riding in that truck.
It's great that you were able to save this truck. Most people don't appreciate how much better these old trucks are compared to the new junk and how often ones in much better shape sadly get scrapped when they could be saved. It's good to see someone that appreciates trucks like this. We need more people like us. Good luck with it.
It never seizes to amaze me the way people treat fine looking vehicles and how they let it go to waste like that, i'm a diehard ford guy but i have a soft spot for both dodge and Gm especially older stuff.
I remember watching this when you first uploaded it and ive been looking for this video ever since. Now i have found it again, thanks for great entertainment throughout many years
I own a rare 1979 Dodge little red express that has the same body style it’s in even better shape and it runs very good. It is very nice that you’re giving a this Dodge another chance.
It's crazy for me to think that this was the very 1st video I've ever seen from you nearly 7 years ago... You sure have came a loooong way during that time. Congrats on 500k by the way, let's hope for 500k more!
Awesome find , Warlock and with a 440 AC !!! I want a step side Dodge in the worst way . Either I buy a long box , step cut the frame and shorten , or road trip from Ontario Canada . Great find really , I have only seen one other Warlock . Nice resto !!!!
I have a 73 Dodge W100 with the same exact body style. I run a bored out 360 along with a Torque Flight 727, NP203 transfer case, Dana 44 front axle, Chrysler 8 3/4 rear end.
I never heard of one , interesting model. Dodge had a lot of odd models it seems , everyone knows the lil red express.... is this like a precursor to that with the 440 mill and buckets and stuff?
Hey Dylan, very cool find. Your videos are good enough not to need to exaggerate the title. This truck was parked not abandoned. Unless somebody just gives up ownership it's not abandoned. I look forward to watching the videos as you bring it back to life.
Well, maybe it wasn't "abandoned" in the legal sense, but I would definitely say that it was actually abandoned seeing as how it was left to sit and rot and rust away for so many years.
Excellent work Dylan. I have a '77 D150 Custom stepside identical to that (except in red) with all the fruit (360, 727, A/C, PS etc) I bought for $1k. Cost me a bit to get it over here to Oz but its the only one in the country. Love the old Mopars. I wish you well mate.
I owned a black warlock with gold pinstripes, the interior was awesome in leather wth sport steering wheel and gauges, it also had a 400 cid, pull anything
Amazing find Dlyan, and I hope for the best of luck with your Restoration. I own a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda and I'm fixing that, and it's about the same shape as yours. I'm just happy to see someone else who is interested in old Mopars too.
Right on bro good find most ppl dont know what w warlock is i just pick up a 77 warlock 4x4 360 4speed. 1 owner with all the original paperwork and title i love thses trucks
I bought this very model on the spring of 77. Metallic green with gold metal flake a gold striping . Mine, however, had the 318 four barrel. Paid about $8K out the door which might not sound like much now but in 77 that was an in-Godly some of money to pay for a pickup. A Corvette was only about $10K. I've thought about getting another one but one in decent condition, anywhere between $15-$25K, .. too much. at memories though.
Looks good for a '77, and not 1, but 2 mouse nests included free! Looks like it could use a bath and some carpet. But I'll check your channel for that as the video is 2 years old and has probably already been done.
Great find ! I was suprised the interior looked as well as it did.,guess those door still seal well.. that's what I would like to find. I missed one at a farm auction years ago,.similiar shape outside, .still wonder what happened to it. When I saw those Disc brakes ,I knew yours was special issue package. I like all those old power wagons, and Warlocks!..hopefully you can bring that 440 back to life! Any updates?
wow that is awesome. I've heard about Dodge warlock trucks but never seen one. curious how did you come to find out about that truck. how many miles where on it when you found it?
Wow! I was expecting to see the mandatory 318 when they raised the hood. I always liked the '77-'78 front end treatment. For me, except for the hood, the '79-'80 front end seemed like a step backward.
Back when we put some good thick steel in a vehicle .That Dodge has better quarters than trucks half it's age,I had a 1930 model A out in a horrible hail storm 1'' and bigger not on dent ,my wife' car newer by almost 70 years looked like a golf ball.
You're right you could get the Tuff wheel on a Cuda from the factory. This truck actually came with that option too it even says "Tuff" on the build sheet.
It’s nice to see people rescuing trucks from their possible graves. These old trucks are getting harder and harder to find because the earth is taking back the truck. Another great one saved from the crusher 👌🐱👤
Amazing truck! My late dad had a brand new '78 Lil' Red Express right before I was born and always talked highly of these old MoPar muscle trucks. And the Warlock is much more rare. Just freakin awesome man, thank you for the memories.
Jason Evers Hey there's a good chance I'll have a video coming up of a Lil' Red so be watching!
Love the old style vehicles, I'm 19 and I loved cars since I was little
It's great that you were able to save this truck. It never seizes to amaze me the way people treat fine looking vehicles and how they let it go to waste like that, i'm a diehard ford guy but i have a soft spot for both dodge and Gm especially older stuff.
thank you so much people do not understand how heart breaking it is to watch the cars die
I remember watching this when you first uploaded it and ive been looking for this video ever since. Now i have found it again, thanks for great entertainment throughout many years
I own a rare 1979 Dodge little red express that has the same body style it’s in even better shape and it runs very good. It is very nice that you’re giving a this Dodge another chance.
finally a UA-cam channel that actually rescues cars instead of buying cheap buckets and making them look even worse

+Steve Foster Those early Ramchargers are too cool.
Hey Dylan, very cool find. Your videos are good enough not to need to exaggerate the title. This truck was parked not abandoned. Unless somebody just gives up ownership it's not abandoned. I look forward to watching the videos as you bring it back to life.

philliesfan81388 Sure thing!

Wow, thats a Warlock if I'm not mistaken. Great score
BooTeevids Yes you're right it is a Warlock. Thanks for watching.
Wish i had that truck
How are we going to get all of this out? The same way it got in there, one piece at a time!
Looks good for a '77, and not 1, but 2 mouse nests included free! Looks like it could use a bath and some carpet. But I'll check your channel for that as the video is 2 years old and has probably already been done.

+Rick Malarky Yes actually we recently put this truck in the shop. Expect a video update of it soon.
Wow,,so cool.
Wow disc brakes on that old of a truck pretty cool. What year is it?
very clean truck!!
The Gray and Red dodge ram
Try CLR on those fenders. Even if it doesn't do anything, it can't hurt it.
wow that is awesome. I've heard about Dodge warlock trucks but never seen one. curious how did you come to find out about that truck. how many miles where on it when you found it?
Me and my dad bought a 77 wagon back in October 2016
@500-507 that's an air filter cover for a small Tecumseh engine , its worth up to $50 if sold to the right person
Wow! I was expecting to see the mandatory 318 when they raised the hood. I always liked the '77-'78 front end treatment. For me, except for the hood, the '79-'80 front end seemed like a step backward.

Great video. Plans for this truck? Glad you are saving it.
+Classic G-Body Garage For now get it running and driving as is. The 440 in it refuses to move at the moment, so it's held us up.
Dylan McCool how many miles does it have
Why didn’t you the stuff out before you loaded it on the trailer.
to me that steering wheel looks like its off a cuda, thats cool.
You're right you could get the Tuff wheel on a Cuda from the factory. This truck actually came with that option too it even says "Tuff" on the build sheet.
Thats pretty awesome!
