- All good things must come to an end, but with that comes something new. The Scrap Truck Revival has been, well, scrapped at the moment while we focus our attention on this rare 1977 Dodge Warlock.

I get that everyone hates the music, and I've learned from it and made adjustments to my new videos. At this point the video is nearly two years old, so cut me some slack! Still learning! But thanks to everyone who has watched. I really appreciate it!
Your editing is excellent. My Dad had the black one with the wood bed racks. I was 14 at the time and can still smell the interior. I wish he would have kept it. It was really fun to drive.
LOVE OL DODGE TRUCKS! Any Ramcharger builds?
I am jealous! Litte Red express and a Warlock! I recently purchased a '74 Plymouth Trailduster. All matching numbers, all original tin, with build sheet and delivery sheet. I will be starting a channel following the restoration.
I remember the Warlocks when they came out. They were bad ass. It was the same time as the customized van craze (my family had a customized Chevy van with a bed, bar, and water fountain in the back) and I liked the trucks much better. The vans were cheesy, I thought then (and now).
Little Red Express Truck was my dream vehicle when I was a kid, BTW.
Awesome thanks for sharing that!
love that you picked this up after it sat for so long.
I'm not a huge Mopar fan but I love this Warlock. I'm late on seeing these vids but I applaud y'all for saving this beauty.
All Dodge trucks 74 (75 for sure) and up had disc brakes up front factory. Seats are vinyl. For the wheels, decent wagon wheels ARE out there, but they're not made anymore so you're on your own trying to find used ones.
when you go to put new windshield wipers on it just put on replacement blades don't replace the whole windshield wiper because all you can find or black ones and they look funny with the silver arms and black windshield wipers I see that too often and I notice you're still has the original wipers so all you have to do is replace the little rubber inserts and you're good you keep your originality to it they look better than black ones on Silver arms.
it's so nice to see people care and work to bring the cool classics to life,I personally love the old dodge trucks
Love the lil red express, but the warlock had optional 4x4
I dont if you know about it or not. But dodge also built and sold a version of the lil red express called the midnight express. It had a all black paint job instead of a red paint job.
love the little red, but save, preserve and restore the warlock. much more rare .
That's awesome! I have a green '78 dodge D100. Same color of green but it's not a warlock but I'm making into a muscle truck with a stroker smallblock and I can't wait to finish it!
I know this is an old video and you know people don't want to hear music, and I agree with that, but is that The Rolling Stones, a jam on a song that keeps repeating?
Nice! Really enjoy your videos! I have the brother to that truck. I have a 77 warlock factory 400 black truck with power steering and brakes, ac, and cruise control. Its engine is stuck too and the paints about the same condition. It will be my next project but im working on a challenger and dart right now. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks! That's awesome that you have one similar to this truck especially being in black. Sounds like you've got a lot going on.
Are the seats leather or vinyl I know you can get products that will help restore and revitalize them, I like your ideas try and keep it original.
+ARednecksLife They're vinyl to the best of my knowledge. Hopefully after recovering that seat bottom it'll clean up well inside. Thanks for the comment!
+Dylan McCool I already have a good idea how it is going to look
+Adelmo Ruiz Lima
I like he kept it like he found it.
Cleaned it up enough to use it , yet that patina tells a story.
That's a real sweet truck. by the way what song is that playing ?
I'll Let You Know by the Rolling Stones
I'm curious, How do you find these old trucks.....
nice..i want to buy one in jan 2017..hopefully some are available...i want the stepside dodge warlock.
the wagon wheels look way better then the full moons just repaint them
I would love to have a long wheel base stepside 1980 dodge d100 with a 318 in it. My old dream vehicle
This Chevy boy wishes there were more W/D100's on the road. I can't help it, I like em.
were y'all get that red truck? I've seen it in RI
It's been in the family since '95.
+Dylan McCool wow :-)!
Which truck is more rare, Lil Red Express or the Warlock. If I remember correctly the Lil Red Express was the fastest American produced car or truck when they were made. You would think that these two trucks would be evenly matched as far as quickness goes. Cool video. I am one of the ones that never knew the Warlock existed. I wonder if the reason for its rarity is that Dodge had trouble selling the Warlock name to the majority of the buying public.
They sold many more Warlocks than Lil Reds. A Warlock like this one is probably more rare, but the Lil Red is more desirable in my opinion. Also it was an option to not have the Warlock decal put on the tail gate which is what this truck has. The only way to tell that it's a Warlock is the pinstripes.
um why the music would rather hear what going in with the truck
I got a 85 Chevy so we got a race when u done
Sounds like a good match up!
How much did that bad boy set ya back? If ya don't mind my askin. 'Cause whatever it was, it was totally worth it. Awesome find dude
what rims are on the little red?
D Downard The factory 15x8s
Great update!. Looks like you already replaced the grill. Is the engine in the Black truck set up the same? does it have a Hi-Rise intake manifold, or stock. ? I was just wondering if the other engine with the new manifold you guys ordered will fit. Great project!
Thanks! Yes the grille was the first thing we replaced. The intake is a high rise and it's pretty tall but still fit fine under the hood of the black truck. The actual assembly of the engine will be in the next video.
thought warlocks only came in black,,,
"We're going to leave it exactly how it looks…"
"Eventually, we want it to look as good as the Lil' Red Express truck."
..... what?
you talk of another truck. but your channel dont have a vid another dodge truck. Im confused
There's 7 Dodge trucks here right now.
oh wow. I just wish i had one lol
oh shit I see little red in the garage!
can you send the original rims out and have them refurbished? That would be pretty nice I know they do it on Wheeler Dealer all the time they have the original ones refurbished.
Going to have them sandblasted and repainted.
That'll be one nice truck when you guys get it done I looked on the internet and saw some that are all look brand-new and it's a very nice looking truck
ditch the music. don't need it.
I'm trying to hear you but that background music is overwhelming.
Its from the civil war 😀😃😄
neat
Yep.
👍
I'm another who doesn't want the music. Can't take it, so I'm leavin'.
This video was made two years ago. A lot has changed since then, so check out the new stuff before you make a decision.
nice truck bye the way
please don't put the music running through the whole video anymore
Dodge starter for sure lol
keep it ratty
Music is fine
Yeah the warbly cassette tape played sounding rolling stones muzak is terrible.
The chinaman is not the issue here.
😂 it says muscle truck... Yet it's a dodge
?
Sorry to say it. But the dodge warlock and red express trucks were the fastest production vehicles in their years. Because of smog the corvettes lost all of the hp. Dodge saw this opportunity to make these beast with a cop motor 360 ho motor. Trucks were exempt from smog in those years. This is the only time ever that a production truck beat a production corvette and ferrari.
stupid music ruined de vid ....
I'm sorry you feel that way.
didnt mean to offend u lad ..but it was hard to hear wat u were sayn
Lfig Lfig No worries! I'll keep that in mind for the next one.
