Thanks for the video. Does anybody know if there are actual nerf boards you can purchase for a Beyond 6PR. The ones you mocked up out of wood look great. I can't hardly any aftermarket stuff for the Bintelli.
I'm not sure if there are some in the works, I'll see if I can find out. I got a set for a club car with what I saw as identical mount points. It was so close to fitting, but was off but just enough to not work. After seeing the quality of what was available, I knew I'd need to fab my own. The ones I mocked up with wood probably won't be created, they are a little bit too wide I think. But I got a welder and will be creating a set on a future video. I just need to practice my welds.
Thanks so much for making this video. I was able to get the Kickers installed using the broken clip trick and drilling an extra hole. Nice and snug and they sound a lot better in my opinion. Also, thanks for showing the EQ feature on the stereo. Huge difference in sound over the stock flat EQ. Any suggestions for the Bluetooth microphone as far as placement? I found it behind the driver’s speaker but calls are extremely muffled with it there. I’m looking at different options but I would love to have your feedback before I start drilling. Those side steps look phenomenal. I think they will really make the bodywork pop when they’re finished and painted black. Let me know when you get them fabricated, I would really like to order a set. Cheers!
I recorded a quick video, well maybe not so quick, yesterday doing battery maintenance. I clipped my microphone on the little rubber piece behind the steering wheel on the steering column, wrapped it around the steering column once just to hold it tight. Then I fed it through the hole the factory drilled for the backup camera. Let me see what I can do to get that video finished today. It's going to be a while on those step rails. I don't have a welder or the metal yet. I just used the wood 2x2s to draft up a model. Even with as expensive as wood is, it's still way cheaper than metal. I think I went through about six revisions before I came up with that style and design.
