@@335135 it's easy you take apart the driver side lock and it will sometimes have the code to cut the key on it or you take it apart and read the waifers, ther is a retaining bolt on the side that you'll need to unscrew.
Hy you are absolutely amazing thank you so much for sharing your knowledge I've quick question please. How do you cut the key if u loos them all spark 2018 Can you do it through the door lock cylinder?
Hi thank you for your comment, for Chevrolet spark the key is B119 to obtain the cut for this key you need to use a special removal tool HU100 , get the whole set it will be handy on removing all new ignitions. But yes you can do it through the door lock but it will take you much longer. In the door lock you will be able to read the waifers.
Hey stas Thanks you so much for the video, Do you know where I can order the a1 rocket pick set I couldn’t find nothing online I’m a locksmith from Toronto.
Unfortunately my friend as far as I know A1 stopped manufacturing picks. But you can use any rack pick, this one is just more comfortable. If you from Toronto you can look at KeyDirect.ca or call them, they might have something. I'm from winnipeg by the way.
When you have an old car that you can't read the waifers properly it will take way more time and the lishi doesn't give you all cuts, so you big on taking but you'll never be in and out in 10 minutes with a lishi.
@@stasolocksmith so true. I am experiencing this right now. picking the lock open is easy but reading is tricky with the Lishi lifters falling in between the numbers. Even with a fill on line app like lockcodes, you an end up cutting sevral test keys and still not getting it. It will not work on the 2014 Silverado because it has the laser cut keys for that you'll need the special removal tool called GM HU100 removal tool I think it's the V2 for Silverado
@@335135 take a break go slowly it's a matter of feeling but sometimes it just doesn't go you can try taking apart the door lock also and read the waifers it will give you partial cut but usually it will be enough to get the cuts

Use a jiggler key and you won't need the vice-grips
Put it reverse or drive and apply the brake
Can I use anything other than the a-1
Yes you can use any large rake pick
