- Welcome to a gastronomic event dedicated to the author's combinations of tea and snacks brought back from travels by the founder of the AN SHIM TEA tea project. Tea Gastronomy is a relatively young, but very promising direction in the tea industry, aimed at popularizing premium class tea in the restaurant industry.
AN SHIM TEA is a tea project focused on tea education and high tea culture. In the collection of the project you can find a huge amount of rare, unique handmade tea, collectible, aged, as well as teas that have won prestigious competitions. Organic tea, directly from the plantations, harvested and produced entirely by hand.
The purpose of this event is to acquaint participants with the concept of tea of the highest skill and make a gastronomic journey to different tea-producing countries. Here, a modern, Western approach to brewing and serving tea is harmoniously intertwined with the traditions and philosophy of the countries of the East. Each tea composition is a unique combination that takes the guests of the event to the places of tea culture and helps to take a different look at taste and aroma.
The event is hosted by Andrey Ivanov, founder of AN SHIM TEA, as well as co-founder, tea master and teatester of the IZPODNEBSENOY tea project. Member of the International Tea School Chaism.Pro, tea blogger, three-time participant in the international finals of Tea Masters Cup International and champion of TMC International 2017 in Enshi, China in the “Tea Pairing” nomination. Andrey is a certified international judge of the Tea Masters Cup and the official representative of the Vietnamese tea culture in Europe. A high-level expert, who has not a single year of research on various tea cultures directly in the places of its growth (China, South Korea, Vietnam).
