Got this same car. Getting ready to graduate from nursing school. Let’s just say my 2nd gen crv bout to be sick. She’s been maintained nicely over the years. Time to make her fun.
Great work, Red! That my friend was a lot of work! When you took that valve cover off, boy that was a lot of tarnish on the engine components! Is that typical of a 200k mile engine or do you think it may have skipped a few oil changes? I've opened a 5S-FE in my 97 Celica at 203,000 miles and it was a light-gold color, not dark copper like this CRV. Any thoughts? And for the instrumentals... the first one was Mario theme? and the second one is Vaudeville dance tune..., right?
Thanks!! Yea I'm sure the previous owner skipped a few oil changes. If they kept up with them it would definitely be a lot cleaner inside. Also they are both Super Mario Land instrumentals!
@@sleeperworksgarage I put 01-05 Civic si suspension parts on mine! Same frame! That's what is good on Honda's. The parts interchangeable! I have three, a CX Civic, mini me , a 06 CR-V and a new 21 HRV!!!
Your going to need the lift kit and an engine lowering kit to cancel the axle vibration it will have from being lifted. I recommend to install only if your mechanically inclined. The job is very involved.
The jeep isnt going to need it like the crv will. The crv is fwd based so the subframe needs lowered to correct the axle angle. That small a lift on a jeep shouldnt give you any problems.

I have a 06 crv and i wanted to change out the driveshaft support bearing or what ever. Should i just buy a new driveshaft??????
Yea I'd just buy a new one. They're about $175 new and super easy to replace. The center joint is sort of like a cv joint.
What lift kit did you get? Or how many inches?
Wondering if I only go with 1 inch would I need motor mount and transmission adjustment also?
It's an aerogenics kit.
You know your shit, good job
💪💪
What socket/tool did you use to remove the bolts on the original rear lower control arms
There's a socket that came with the aftermarket control arms.
keep grinding 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Hey may a ask where did you get that rear lower control arm
This was a customers crv. If I'm not mistaken he got them straight from Skunk2. They are 02-06 Acura Rsx rear lower control arms.
@@sleeperworksgarage ok thank you 🙏🏽

Hey, i have a 2005 crv and i wanna lifted for 4cm rear and front
What should i do?
And what should i install on it?

@@sleeperworksgarage ok thank u so much
But can u tell me how much do i have to low my engine if i wanna lift my jeep for 4cm up

It’s a Mario game I know that.
Mario bros?
