  • I did an overnighter on a bike trail and made a stromboli on the camp fire. I rode about 13 miles to find the ideal location for the trip. The trip was awesome, I found a flat rock to camp on. I checked out some waterfalls and some local scenery which made for an awesome adventure :D Hope you enjoyed the journey!

    New subscriber here.
    I love the outdoors. i have done a lot of hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and more. I only recently started bicycling, and want to try combining bicycling with camping.
    Basically backpacking with a bike and covering more miles, but in more of a wilderness setting.

    Nice little get away.... I thought you learned from two or three other outings about having ample water? I pray you don't find yourself in a situation where not bringing enough water puts you at serious risk....

    good on you mate, but you may wish to get that pack off you back, look at some racks, to make the bike carry your stuff, as backpacks on your back make you sweat.

    Great change of pace. Looks like the trail offers a lot of possibilities for fresh landscapes. Sorry that you forgot the water filter. The streams and creeks along the way could sustain you. Thanks for the content.

    Great editing. Loved the video
    Some things of concern tho , you mentioned bear country , but you threw pieces of your dinner out in the bush around you . Also those dry leaves , and the fires proximity? I'm assuming there's no brush fire warnings or laws there ?

    Great watch there sir! One of the first things I did when I began my journey, if you will, was get rid of all my beer related shirts because I no longer had a use for them. Just putting it out there. So…. I would try something like this in my local wood but since it’s Massachusetts I fear we have too many karens and bored neighborhood watchmen who would call in smoke from an unusual direction. For instance, one sunday i hiked in to a spot and fired up my firebox nano stove. About ten minutes after I heard fire trucks roaring in my general direction. The firebox nano puts out a little smoke but not that much. It may have been a coincidence but it made me think twice about stealthin it in a local wood. Maybe I should’ve used my solo stove. That burns the smoke in a secondary combustion so there’s very little. Something you might want to consider if you wanna bike stealth like that again. Anyway, thanks again for the watch! I subbed tonight!!👍🏼

    • @EscapeAdventures
      @EscapeAdventures  2 роки тому

      Its a bummer people have to complain about something like that. Btw, I've been looking into one of those stoves. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
