Much like the ghost ship aquascape, I decided to go with a custom-built cabin for this week's video. What do you think about it? I thought it was a pretty neat idea. Also, be sure to watch to the end to see the winners of the 1M giveaway revealed! I hope that you all have an incredible day and weekend. 💚
I absolutely love it! The little cabin looks lovely. Have you considered painting these little mini builds in the future? In the finished product they still have the same color as a wooden toy, which is fine if thats what you’re going for.
I love it. I decorated one of my jumping spider enclosures with a little Christmas cabin and a small Christmas tree for the last month. She made her nest in the house so it's permanently a Christmas-themed enclosure.
@Emmit Stewart I'm not suggesting that they are painted irl. I'm saying that 'real' cabins are usually a different colour. He even shows a cabin within the first 20 seconds, which is orange-ish, as an example. Google it and you'll see many more. It's a personal preference, I guess. As long as Tanner is happy, that's what counts. He is the one that gets to look at it every day, after all!
@@meta.aesthetica I see what you mean. Most of the cabins I have visited were dark brown wood or grey weathered wood. Maybe he is waiting for the wood to weather to a grey color. Otherwise, a dark stain might work.
After seeing this and many other videos, you should do a full village or a log cabin next to a lake and a mountain and forrest. The level of creativity and patience you have is incredible.
The way you could see the reflection of the cabin while he was putting the hardscape in. It was magical lol, like a look into the future. This was so cute, wish I could shrink down and live there
Loved this build! The cabin was so cute and quaint. I'm surprised you didn't stain it for a more rustic look. The chimney was also my favorite part and the lichen. Congratulations again on 1 million and congratulations to the winners (I'm envious, would have loved that build for my son and I to create something together. Will definitely draw inspiration from it and hopefully do one from scratch)! Happy Holidays Tanner & Serpa Squad xx
Miniature landscapes are my favourite thing in the world be that under water or on table top and is the main reason I follow you to use your plant and terrarium ideas to use in miniature landscaping.
Love the cabin, and the little detail you put into everything you do man. The removable roof and how you designed it to stay in place is genius. Merry Christmas Tanner and Serpa Squad. Looking forward to another great year of incredible designs!!
Love love love this little cabin. Especially the stone chimney. That is so life like. It would be very cool to have a mist machine inside cabin so the mist could go up chimney... And the mist would help with humidity for the plants.. 🙌❤️
Always inspiring and entertaining! I have several incredible vivariums now and some gorgeous frogs who live in these little slices of rainforest. I have learned a great deal from you, so thank you! I wish I could show you what your inspiration led to. They're so beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Fantastic project. As a scale modeller my only suggestion is that if you do something like the cabin again in the future, you may want to consider using smaller rocks. They're noticeably out of scale when compared to the size of the cabin.
Merry Christmas Tanner! My birthday is in two days and I would absolutely love a happy birthday if possible? You're the best keep up the great work as always!
I was kinda hoping this would be like, an enclosed terrarium with its own 'weather' cycle that actually created snow. When I actually think about it though, that was a pretty silly thing to expect. Very nice either way~
Awesome little cabin, I especially like the chimney it looks super realistic. One of these days I'll get back into terrariums but until then I'll live vicariously through yours. Love to watch you build!!
Love your terrarium builds as always, the little cabin and the tiny people inside look really cosy and appreciative in their new home! (even though you did cut them down to size haha)
The idea is really cool and the execution is neat. The only thing I would do different is add a light tea or coffee stain to the cabin. Give it a slightly more weathered look. I would think just brushing it on would be enough but not be over powering.
I love the mini cabin! I'd be interested to see how this terrarium is holding up, if you've kept it around that is. I know you don't always keep them around long term, which is totally reasonable given how much you've got to manage and take care of already.
Great build, as always! Also, I loved the little throwback "like and subscribe" bit you included, like how you used to do in your older videos in unexpected places.
love the chimney! i have a paludarium that i went with a castle theme on, i found bathroom wall tiles made of small blocks of granite and glued them onto castle shapes made of plywood covered in flex seal. kind of reminds me of that
Congrats on completion, the cabin turned out amazing along with the other features of the build. I’m from Ohio, and it made me feel better to see this because we got no snow this year. Can I suggest a too box terrarium that looks cool and holds tools.
Very cute idea especially because no fake snow...but I think due to the humidity, the cabin might need some varnish. Also the little cut off people (ahhhhh) are not very visible so...I don't think they were needed. Great idea and very cool cabin 🏡👍🏻

You too man you put in so much work and dedication I hope you have a nice relaxing week.

I'm really surprised you didn't use polyurethane
It adds a nice touch if you have a theme, very nice!
You should make a refrigerated cold-temperature terrarium that thaws in the day and freezes at night to frost things up.
I love it. I decorated one of my jumping spider enclosures with a little Christmas cabin and a small Christmas tree for the last month. She made her nest in the house so it's permanently a Christmas-themed enclosure.
This comment is so pure and wholesome🙏 Made my day lol, I hope she is living her best life in that Christmas themed build
Congratulations to the recipients of the great prizes! Another great build. The rock work on the cabin looks amazing.
The small stones add so much character!! Love this build!! 🎄🌲
very nice! I kinda wish the cabin was painted to look more realistic, but its a great build!
Or even just sealed so it’s waterproof
It will silver with time, and I think it will look amazing. If he had sealed it, it would stay like this.
Cabins are almost never painted.

Serpa, I love you dude.

Merry Christmas Serpa Squad 🎄🎄

Congratulations to both of the winning 🥇 people you are very lucky 🍀 in joy
pure white sand in patches would have looked amazing too
Wow, this little cabin looks almost exactly like my decade-long dream house
Then start saving :D
Merry Christmas Serpa Squad!
Miniature landscapes are my favourite thing in the world be that under water or on table top and is the main reason I follow you to use your plant and terrarium ideas to use in miniature landscaping.
The lichen is genius, love the cabin.
Merry Christmas!!!
What a charming little terrarium, very fitting to the season!
I love your creativity on these themed builds. This is so cute. Stinks I didn't win but at least another Long Islander won lol. Congrats Darth!
The white reindeer lichen was an excellent choice! Great project!
Love the cabin, and the little detail you put into everything you do man. The removable roof and how you designed it to stay in place is genius. Merry Christmas Tanner and Serpa Squad. Looking forward to another great year of incredible designs!!
I really like the illusion of snow the moss creates
Love love love this little cabin. Especially the stone chimney. That is so life like. It would be very cool to have a mist machine inside cabin so the mist could go up chimney... And the mist would help with humidity for the plants.. 🙌❤️

You can video your creations and upload them to UA-cam.
Then Tanner could see them.
I could so totally see you changing the scene for the seasons!
🔥 thanks for all this inspiration this past year!!

Merry christmas to everyone who celebrates 🧡
Thank you for this video!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family Tanner!
Just wanted to let you know that your talent is appreciated from across the world. Merry Christmas, Tanner.
I enjoyed this artistic themed scene scape and I’m glad you do this without you idk how I would have learned so much
Merry Christmas Tanner! My birthday is in two days and I would absolutely love a happy birthday if possible? You're the best keep up the great work as always!
Mine is in 3, everyone have a happy holiday
@@ULuvGil happy early birthday!

You're so talented!!
Omg Tanner is there anything you can't do love this one.
Serpa is Bob Moss!
Merry Christmas
I love when one hobby leads into another, your modeling skills are great!
Awesome glass box 📦 and canin terrium came out realisticly cozzy..
This man is like bob Ross. He adds things that seem weird by themselves but are gorgeous together
I really like what you did with the grout. That little house is so cool
I'm blown away! Is there nothing you can't build?!
I like how it looks newly built, so as the terrarium ages so will the house/wood
Love that cabin in the woods.
You are so talented!! This build is absolutely beautiful. Good work!!
Congratulations to everyone. . Awesome build. Love the cabin.
Thank you 🥰
ihope you have3 a good christmas tanner love you man have a awesome day
That chimney was amazing!
I was kinda hoping this would be like, an enclosed terrarium with its own 'weather' cycle that actually created snow. When I actually think about it though, that was a pretty silly thing to expect. Very nice either way~
Honestly, a little dye/paint and weathering and that cabin would be perfect as a stand alone miniature model
This is perfect gift for my mom thank you so much for this
So cute! Some miniature people in winter clothes would fit in here making a snowman out of the moss 😉
i just love all your videos your terrariums are so creative and beautiful. I really appreciate the change of pace
Happy Holidays Tanner
The cabin was incredible. I'm flabbergasted
I love when you build little things to go into your tanks! I would love to see more of that!
Congratulations to the winners 🏆... the cabin in the terrarium is lovely!
I really love everything about the cabin but I think if it was stained to be a little darker for contrast it would really make the look perfect.
Love it! Can’t wait to see all the snow melt in the spring!
the cabin is amazing. You are so creative it makes me want to get my watercolors out again and start painting.
Wow you nailed it ! So cute I would love to live in it. ❤️
Awesome little cabin, I especially like the chimney it looks super realistic. One of these days I'll get back into terrariums but until then I'll live vicariously through yours. Love to watch you build!!
O! Next time you make a chimney, can you add a mister/smoke pump? It would be cool to see you do that. Maybe a high mountain alpine lodge?
You should use ground pine/clubmoss for the miniature conifer!
Very cool merry Christmas
Honestly one of my favorite theme builds!!
I love that little cabin.
Love your terrarium builds as always, the little cabin and the tiny people inside look really cosy and appreciative in their new home! (even though you did cut them down to size haha)
I do love themed terrariums! This one is great!!! Anything you make is really great! Congrats to the lucky winners!
Wishing you and your family a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year

Ha! I love what you did with the "like and subscribe" bit with the figurines
Congratulations to the 2 givaway winners, and Merry Christmas Tanner!
Great build, as always! Also, I loved the little throwback "like and subscribe" bit you included, like how you used to do in your older videos in unexpected places.
Omg the like/sub plug was amazing
love the chimney! i have a paludarium that i went with a castle theme on, i found bathroom wall tiles made of small blocks of granite and glued them onto castle shapes made of plywood covered in flex seal. kind of reminds me of that
Simply beautiful. I love it. .. great creating as usual. Do enjoy the annual changes coming up. Love from New Zealand.
As always, your commitment to detail is fantastic. Congratulations to the winners!
10:15 was an awesome shot
The attention to detail is just incredible. This man never ceases to amaze me!
Congrats to the winners!
Merry Christmas to all
And as always am blown away by your vision.
I would have had the wood glued to the gloves in no time.
Would love to see more of these terrariums with little cabins and stuff.
You are quite the artist.
snow + lofi = bliss. love the videos man!
Theme designs are nice every so often, merry christmas!
You should totally do one of these but ruined- just the foundation and part of the chimney remaining, taken over by nature!
Lol, that cabin family with your face!! 😂😆
Happy Holidays or Xmas or all that 😁 I hope it's a cozy one!
Congrats on completion, the cabin turned out amazing along with the other features of the build. I’m from Ohio, and it made me feel better to see this because we got no snow this year. Can I suggest a too box terrarium that looks cool and holds tools.
Love this terrarium. Would love to see the addition of more creatures.
Merry Christmas! Love this build. I want to curl up with a fire and hot cup of coco. Thank you Tanner for all you do for us.
One of the best ones! I love it so unique
Very cute idea especially because no fake snow...but I think due to the humidity, the cabin might need some varnish. Also the little cut off people (ahhhhh) are not very visible so...I don't think they were needed. Great idea and very cool cabin 🏡👍🏻
Wow! That came out freaking awesome ! Merry Christmas to you and your wife Tanner. And Congratulations to Darth & JP!
Looks very cool! Perhaps some white sand might make give a more snowy appearance? Great video, as always!!
Yeah Pittsburgh snow last winter was nutty 🥶❄️
This project is awesome btw; the cabin looks so nice!
Merry Christmas to you and yours Tanner! The reindeer moss as snow was a great idea.
The stone work is my favorite part! Congratulations to the winners! May everyone have a merry and bright season☃️
This turned out really cool!
