Hey Brave, try it with assassins cowl, same principle but the knife will heal you and make you invis on kills and still let’s you use both knives, I’ve found it better for survivability
the gauntlets buff the sidearm but only when you’re in red and 9/10 if you’re in the red facing a full health guardian, unless you’re one shotting or they miss every bullet you’re not winning that duel. I preferred assassins bc the knife will one hit kill any frozen target and heal you full health to keep the chain goin. So you can either go radiant damage with Tricksleeves only after swapping to it in the red health or Radiant damage at full health while invis to already throw off your opponent. Situational damage buff vs survivability is the real decision based on your playstyle
Ok so the initial builds concept was situational damage vs survivability, gotcha...that makes sense. You basically eliminated the possible damage buff for guaranteed survival play, I can get with that.
I have been using this build for a while. It’s so incredibly fun. Another fun tweak is running double stasis weapon surge to make Cryo more forgiving at 1h 3b opt ttk once you get radiant and pick up the orb you make from the throwing knife. If you happen to get the trick sleeve damage at that time it will make the opt ttk 3h on any resilience. Since you use throwing knife to spawn an orb plus I use reaper to spawn an orb it’s almost always up and more forgiving.

Don't you loose the damage aspect provided from the gauntlets?

I have it but man idk why I suck with it lol 😂 I’m sooo bad, definitely a skill gap with this weapon
