The sheath on the Benchmade I 100% agree on. There is nothing wrong with 440 steel but the price is too high for it. Still a nice looking knife though.
All I mean is that there are better budget steels to be had. 440C is fine if properly cyro treated but it isn't a steel that catches the attention of a paying audience.
@@CourtJester1960 It catches my attention. It is the steel of many of my nicer Bokers and Linders and more than a couple handmades. At one time it was the steel of choice of most stock removal knifemakers. It has been replaced by the latest pretty faces, as have ATS 34, 154cm and others. The added value of many of these newer steels is almost negligible unless you're the one selling it
So embarrassing that they are selling out 🤷🏻♂️. I do agree the sheath could be better though. Historically speaking Benchmade has always made awkward or different style sheaths that are not leather. The leather ones they’ve made in the past have been fine.
@@awdobsession717 Something selling well is not a testament to quality. More McDonald's is bought everyday than probably any other food-does that make them high-quality food?
Hey Stassa, I've been enjoying your channel 4 a while😉 Especially 'cuz U show fixies.TY 4 that. Would U possibly mention the handle length? That would be highly appreciated 😊 God Bless
You guys gotta stop with the benchmades....they expect you to shit on the second amendment and go full Scotland yard nothing but knives....quit patronizing them.
for close to $300 & a plastic sheath Benchmade needs serious mental help ..!!! I wouldnt buy a Benchmade no matter how cheap price is regardless.. Benchmade went woke bout 2 years ago.. go take look at their views on 2nd Ammendment
I got a Puma folder from my parents a while back. It flips open hard, drops shut like a dream, has real carbon fiber scales but it’s tip down, has a cheap steel and the blade stock is thicker than a snicker. I think they paid about 100 for it. I guess it woulda made an ok budget knife but I just can’t bring myself to carry it.
That's why I don't like Benchmade, way too overpriced. A cheap plastic sheath!? Come on Benchmade, at least some kydex. You can get a $25 knife with kydex!
Benchmade! Your knives are not God Tier & IMO not worth what you’re asking. I also have to agree with Stassa. Your sheaths are garbage I wouldn’t gift them to my worst enemy. The knife/sheath mentioned in this video I might pay $229.99/$239.99, but with a fold over Kydex sheath. Only way I’d buy it right now is if it were about $100 less. -Thanks for the review Stassa! Dear UA-cam Police, These are my opinions and opinions are like assholes. Everyone’s got one! Stay safe! ❤️🇺🇸👊🏼
Not a fan of the blade on the Benchmade. I don't like how thin it looks but it is an EDC blade... Sheath looks pretty bad, pocket clip seems like it would be good though. Love the handle and hardware.

Stainless steel is the biggest waste of money anyone can ever spend on a tool that you will never be able to sharpen and it will spend most of its time in the kitchen drawer or in a Pawn Shop. Don’t believe me go look in a pawnshop right now I dare you.
These days there is no longer an excuse for a company to use 440 steel or have a crappy sheath.
Especially that Benchmade sheath simply because of the price being so high for no reason at all
The sheath on the Benchmade I 100% agree on. There is nothing wrong with 440 steel but the price is too high for it. Still a nice looking knife though.
440c yes, 440a no, crappy sheath definitely no

Beautiful benchmade. But for a premium knife and steel company to provide a shitty sheath for it lol. Vosteed did a better job with the sheath.
I love these short about edc fixed. I hope you review the WT lynx soon if you haven’t already
Love that Vosteed
Embarrassing for. Benchmade to put a $270 knife in a 5¢ sheath.
So embarrassing that they are selling out 🤷🏻♂️. I do agree the sheath could be better though. Historically speaking Benchmade has always made awkward or different style sheaths that are not leather. The leather ones they’ve made in the past have been fine.
Terrible sheath
I seriously do not see what is wrong with it... I have had nothing but problems with Kydex left in the car in the Texas summer heat...

@@Sanguivorelifetime warranty sure indicates they stand by their work… how many Chinese companies are willing to offer a lifetime warranty?
Id really like to be a fly on the wall when Benchmade makes some of their corporate decisions.
"... comes with a God-awful plastic sheath... " lol
If i had to buy one, i will take the Falkniven S1. The Esee 4. And the little Izula. But if course there is a few other ones ...
That benchmade looks good. I just wish it was quite a bit cheaper.
$270 for the Benchmade? They need to be ran out of business...... ridiculous

Awesome
MY COOL KNIFE BUDDY. YES U HAVE KNIFE BLOOD IN YOU. OMG U ROCK THOSE BEAUTIFUL BLADES AND I AM JEALOUS LOL OF ALL THE BAD ASS BEAUTIFUL BLADES U HAVE

Vosteed for me
Yikes! $270 for that Benchmade? Prices are out of control.

What in the hell, Benchmade?!!
Yeah benchmade screwed the pooch with that sheath
You are going to get me in to trouble. I was on Amazon last night for over an hour buying knives!

The Vosteed wins in my book.
Yes yes yes yes

I actually like that Benchmade but that sheath sucks, I’m sure it’s also $400.

Which is funny because if they are successful with that, then the rest of the Bill of rights will fall and then knives will not exist.

It's now exist as much fix blades as folfing ones ..! ^^
How did slabs of steel become so expensive?
you trying to sell that coyote..?
$120 for 440 is not only absurd, but incredibly disrespectful. $25 knife at most.
But, even in USA, it's not easy to carry ..!
Imagine actually shelling out $120 for 440c.... no thanks
$200 for Nitro V 😱
Makes me appreciate aliexpress.. everything here was overpriced.. ridiculous
