What a great set to start your career. It's also really nice to see how much you appreciated and are taking care of your tools. I hope they serve you well for many years! Thanks for the tour!
I start my classes at Jtech in Jan. 2025 for Diesel. I am looking forward to get this box when I graduate Jtech. I'm glad I found your video.
Dude that's awesome!!! I hope you enjoy the school as much as I did!
@@AaronBurgan thank you. I hope so
Damn man everything having its own spot in foam is so nice. Awesome tool box i don't care what anyone says about other brands, your tools sometimes take care of you just as much as you take care of them.
Thanks man also I absolutely agree.
Alright, first... This is a really nice set to have right out the gate. I've been at this for years, and I'm jealous of your set. Second... You paid for that. I cant imagine how much you paid for it. But whatever line item it's cost was included in, you paid a crazy price for that and then some.
So yes and no. For sure at some level it was paid for through my school, but I paid for school through military service. I got paid by the VA to go through school so thankfully the government got stuck with that bill haha!
@@AaronBurgan My tax dollars have been spent on worse things than an American mechanic getting good training and good tools. Thank you for your service and thank you for the tour!
Congrats on graduating and awesome box that was gifted to you.
Thanks man!
What a fantastic set! Congrats on graduating and good luck with your career. I'm not a mechanic, but I've started learning more about automotive maintenance and I have been expanding my tool collection for my other hobbies, so I subscribed to follow your journey! Good luck!
Thank you sir I plan to make a video weekly to bi weekly if I can remember haha. Good luck on building your collection sir!
Congratulations brother. You are one of us. I graduated back in 2021. Diesel tech. That’s nice. Better than what i got.
Thanks man. Gratz on also graduating. They just rolled in the new carts this year.
Best part is that you dont have to go back for missing tools or that list. It’s all there.
Dann!! Now that is one hell of a toolbox! Has to be worth $1000's of dollars. It's nice that you received something like this to help get you started once you finished up at the school.
Maybe one day I can only wish to have maybe 1/2 of these. lol. Good luck to you
Thank you! I hope for you to build your collection with no issues.
Congratulations. Thanks for the review, it helped me to decide.
Glad to hear it man!
i think i speak for anyone who comes out of graduating auto is that that set is nice asf and everyone jealous hahaha nice set yo
Thanks man! It has been amazing
That is a great idea on the School's part it will keep those Bastards at Snapon from getting their hooks in new Mechanics
Looks like a aviation toolbox since you sometimes have audits, amd you have to have everything labeled and neat
I can definitely see where this box would be super helpful with that!
Finnaly a set of basic auto tech tools put together right. Drawer lay out is odd but that can be adhusted. A smaller top box for what is needed beyond the wrenches and socket is simple to add.
Yeah I’m excited to work on the positioning of the tools but a smaller top box sounds like a great idea!
Good video man I'm proud of ya to see ya chasing ya dream keep it up
Thank you!
Gee, if the set up only had more room for battery power impacts. I guess that's another rollout? If you sure up the bottom foam trays from the bottom draws with 3/8" plexiglass underneath, it could be relocated to the draws that are deep enough to stack two trays. Just pull the top foam trays out when you need tools from the 2nd layer. The deeper draws could store the power tools. The foam trays are pretty expensive, hope it doesn't dissolve over time. Think about reorganizing my draws with foam or Styrofoam now I seen this, so hard to find what I need at times. Great share video!
Thanks, man. I'm currently in the market for another toolbox, so I can have room for my other tools in my tool cart and battery-powered impacts I've acquired since the making of this video. I'm excited to make a separate video displaying MY thought process when it comes to organizing since I'll get to choose the locations of the foam. Also, the foam is holding up surprisingly well so far.
Thats a pretty nice setup, gearwrench definitley makes some good tools. To bad that instead of all chrome sockets they didn't have all impact sockets. In all honesty you can get by withuot chrome.
I wish they had some impact sockets in this set as I am always going back to grab my Pittsburgh ones
I've got several full metric sets of GearWrench impact sockets and use DeWALT impact wrenches that beat them hard. No issues thus far. Give the GearWrench stuff a go. Lifetime warranty, never needed it but it's great knowing it's there.
Pretty sweet, congratulations
Thank you sir!
The only gear wrench i use are the pass through sockets they are wat u need to get the belts of or a tight spot
Congratulations bro, that’s an amazing set
Thank you!
Thank you ❤ best
Was wondering.....how deep and wide is that box? Also, is there a top box available with the same footprint? The foam is great for A&P. But it can be tough for expansion. Looks like a great setup.
definitely a cool setup a little disappointed not seeing any impact sockets
Yeah that’s one of those things I also wish they included.
Beatiful vídeo
Thank you!

I realize u received this but does anyone have any links on buying this or any pre stocked tool boxes. This is absolutely the best. Any other brands do any Yuit like this? Loaded, foam, box, etc. Amazing
I can do my best to find links for it if you want. Will take a couple days, but I at the very least can get you the full inventory list.
Ya. Thx!!! I’ve actually been searching for a couple weeks as I’ve seen thes win Australia or New Zealand and have searched for them in USA and now your vid go recommended to me - thx smart phones finally! But I try google and UA-cam and Napa online etc and I can’t find GW pre loaded anywhere other than around the world.I follow a lot of mechanic channels, and I’ve never seen any tool truck provide this in any brand including the few gw trucks that r out there. I’ve seen dealers stick a roll cart for beginner tech but these r with foam and sharp. I appreciate u doing that. If u find anything let me know. Thx!!!
@@AaronBurganor if u find any “part number” or name for this package. Thx!! In any brand honestly. Thx
@@donotrobme9295 for sure will do my best!
@@donotrobme9295I don’t think you’ll find a complete set him that typically they are sold individually for example Part number 86529
How much was the education?? That’s an amazing setup haha I love GW stuff
Pretty sure it was right around 30k. It’s a proper 2 year school where you get your Associates.
I am absolutely loving the tools!
@@AaronBurgan heck yeah, hope you’ve got good loans or were able to work and pay it down and that it continues to pay off 🤘 but I tell my buddies that the 90T GW ratchets are like when Rick makes true level and Morty experiences it for the first time. Once I got my hands on one, I bought like 6 😂 I wish they had a good 1/4” stubby… the auto-bites are a game-changer as well!
@@tylerfraker9304 yeah I was lucky enough to have military service to pay for my school :). I also love the ratchets but I have sunk some money into snap on ones so they get little love sadly.
Foam organizers: the best way to fill a lot of drawers without having a lot of tools.
I do agree they can take up a lot of space, but it is a 613 piece tool set. That’s quite a bit of bits and bobs :).
@AaronBurgan definitely a great starter setup, and it sounds like you are adding to it. No disrespect towards your setup. But eventually you'll feel like you are out of room, that's a good sized cart so in my opinion, you could make that cart hold a lot more by throwing the foam and getting socket rails. You can probably fit all of that stuff neatly in half of the drawers.
Edit to add: it does look awesome with the foam.
@@ibanez741852 I so agree with you! I am running out of space especially with the wrench drawers taking up a lot of space in the bottom two. I think starter setup is a great take. I’m not scored to keep building and adding to this great start.
How much would it cost to purchase
I believe it’s 3-4k.
All the sparkle shineys! 🤤🤤🤤 The cuss words they going to hear over the next few years... Oh, and you're going to need a full row of 10mm and 1/2" sockets. Those things are ninjas.
For sure haha
us general box full of icon tools less than half price of this
Yeah but I got these for free.
Apparently, this tool box has a grip latch system but he said nothing of it. For the life of me, why it is that when I watch videos on youtube on tool boxes, no one seems to give a crap about one of the most import functions in a tool box: opening and closing the drawers with the least amount of effort. Why would anyone think that this is less important than caster wheels, integrated power strips, paint finish, or the fancy colors available? No one would by a car with drum brakes these days. So why settle for those friction and self closing drawers when the grip latch design works better?
So the video was more about the tools I got from graduating and not really the box itself.
But yes the drawers are very easy to open and the built in power strip is amazing. The casters equipped on the tool box has had zero trouble during any kind of transportation needs I have encountered. ty for watching!
I LOVE THIS BOX BUT I THINK THERE'S A LOT OF WASTED SPACE WITH THE BOTTOM 2
I AGREE WITH YOUR STATEMENT!
Why'd they waste the bottom drawers on wrenches? Power tools go in the bottom
I think that was the thought process for every single person at my school haha!
Probably cuz they r not gonna fill up your box with power tools. They could have left a paper trail hat said empty drawer for your power tools. I’d take any tools
$4k+ setup
Yes sir
Nice box BUT ITS 4000 DOLLARS NOT FREE,JUST WORKED INTO TUITION YOU WILL PAY FOR IT OVER NEXT 15 YEARS 😅
Yeah sorry but for me it is free. Tuition paid for by the us army.

Huh?
How much is that setup with box
It’s about 5 thousand.
Says just over 2700.00 in the link
