Pittsburgh 130 Piece Tool Set Review! Is it worth it?
I start my classes at Jtech in Jan. 2025 for Diesel. I am looking forward to get this box when I graduate Jtech. I'm glad I found your video.
Dude that's awesome!!! I hope you enjoy the school as much as I did!
@@AaronBurgan thank you. I hope so
The only gear wrench i use are the pass through sockets they are wat u need to get the belts of or a tight spot
What a great set to start your career. It's also really nice to see how much you appreciated and are taking care of your tools. I hope they serve you well for many years! Thanks for the tour!
Someone should be fired for that battery position
It's very aggravating haha
Definitely a Ford
Pretty smart tbh
😂
Hey man I want to be a mechanic so I got a regular job to save for trade school, thinking about just saving money for tools and becoming an apprentice. What did you have to do to be a lube tech for ford?
@Danielxperez14 So do you mean qualifications to work as a lube trch at a Ford dealership? Or what tools I needed?
@@AaronBurgan qualifications
@@Danielxperez14 So a Lube Tech is a entry level job that you don't need any qualifications for! Working at dealerships they actually give you classes to complete that earn your certifications through Ford, Dodge, Toyota etc. My buddy actually just went to a two week class to become certified to work on Automatic Transmissions completely paid for by the dealership and Ford!
If you would like a more indepth synopsis of the Lube tech role I can make a vid for it?
@@AaronBurganthat’s cool! And yea a video would be awesome! It’s not spoken on too much
Yep, coin vs cheap
Was wondering.....how deep and wide is that box? Also, is there a top box available with the same footprint? The foam is great for A&P. But it can be tough for expansion. Looks like a great setup.
Apparently, this tool box has a grip latch system but he said nothing of it. For the life of me, why it is that when I watch videos on youtube on tool boxes, no one seems to give a crap about one of the most import functions in a tool box: opening and closing the drawers with the least amount of effort. Why would anyone think that this is less important than caster wheels, integrated power strips, paint finish, or the fancy colors available? No one would by a car with drum brakes these days. So why settle for those friction and self closing drawers when the grip latch design works better?
So the video was more about the tools I got from graduating and not really the box itself.
But yes the drawers are very easy to open and the built in power strip is amazing. The casters equipped on the tool box has had zero trouble during any kind of transportation needs I have encountered. ty for watching!
That is a great idea on the School's part it will keep those Bastards at Snapon from getting their hooks in new Mechanics
Did you ever fix the fans not coming on?
They all do it thats whats interesting
So it isn’t necessarily a problem ?
It blows my mind how noisy that purse valve is
I got one of these sets. Perfect to throw in the camper. We have a pop up camper and this will cover most of your needs on the road. I like the compact size and it fits in a small cabinet we put all the things for taking care of our camper on the road.
For the rust, wipe it with phosphoric acid (wearing chemical gloves). Let it set for an hour. It converts iron oxide to iron phosphate. Cover the bare metal with Johnson's paste wax (or car wax). For the ratchet, try a drop of phosphoric acid. Let it sit overnight. Spray with Blaster PB Penetrating Oil (lifts out any rust or gunk).
That tire valve core tool can also be used with smaller a/c service ports
And how do you get it in your truck
Like any normal person does
Once you get the front on the bed lower the arms and then retract the front and then keep backing it up and gather ppl to push it the rest of the way
bro is working Smarter and NOT Harder.
Do believe the forklift would of been easier
@@sp7058 not necessarily, depending on how fast you go and how hard you brake with a forklift, it can fly right off if you don't know what you're doing. also, you don't know what size forklift it is and how heavy that toolbox is WITH possible tools. you would also have to move the toolbox to a certain spot which takes even more time, considering you have to drive the forklift to then pick it up SUPER carefully with the forks without having it tip the forklift, or slide right off, which DOUBLES the amount of time it took him, just to do that with the car lift. 😂
@@MJayyyS I'm sure they are smart enough not to do something dumb
I hear a value knock or one bad fuel injector. Its a constant thud knock.. check your spark plugs too.
That's our brothers from south of the border

Love!❤😂 Ford!❤😂
Congratulations bro, that’s an amazing set
Thank you!
😂
😂 i already did
Ok but why not put retention in both sides. Sounds like lazy and cheap design.
It's slightly annoying but I'm sure they did it to save space
I hate when that happens
Man we've all been there Also another reason to hate blowmolded cases
Throw away those bulky cases and get some socket rails
I’d kill to have a case like that as someone who keeps all their stuff in their car, also the long bits would have to be kept outside of a drawer bc they’re too long to close
@@brankofink3500 I'm confused... My extension torx and hex are on rails in my drawers... You just lay them on their side.
I have the same set. I hate the case. Dumps every time i set it in my truck bed
