If you have any questions throw them in the comments ! Also if you want your garage floor to look like mine check this video out! ua-cam.com/video/h_J2wMMSkos/v-deo.html
A year later, I'm watching this video for ideas. In a few days, planning to build out more shelves similar to the one in the video and build out a long workbench underneath. Planning to add some LED lights under the shelves and a retractable 3-way cord under the workbench. Thanks again for your ideas to help me out - Denver, Colorado
G’day from Australia mate I absolutely loved your clip I learned a lot I also am doing something wet similar in my workshop but I’m not very confident lol but your clip has taught me not to overthink it just go and do it…cheers mate just the kind of clip I was needing to watch….👍
USA should switch to the metric system. It makes more sense than: feet, foot, inch , 1/16 etc etc nonsense. I'm planning similar design. Bought the 2x4 already
If I had a dollar…. Honestly it was slightly a time thing. It woulda cost me a extra 1000 to keep my storage containers for the move so I needed to get stuff moved in the garage. I did look into paint though and light colors work well to make space feel larger.

love the harbor freight level with a $300 impact driver XD
Funny thing is I paid like 400 for all the flex tools in a set =)
Nice job man. Looks great!
Thanks
Great video! Will definitely consider this for a future build for myself. Thanks for putting this out!

I only speak murica….Jk it doesn’t make any sense. Metric is easier to use across broad
Shouldn’t you need to pre-drill for the lag screws? Or does it not matter since they’re relatively thin?
I would prob pre drill just to be safe
So roughly how much was the cost of materials?
Less than 200
nice work. With the size of the bench are you able to park two cars in it ?
The garage we have wouldn’t fit two empty honestly but could fit at least one car with room on sides to get family in and out
Too many of the videos, have "pristine" work environments. "Level" locations. I can only "dream". ;-)
I agree this would be a pain in the ass with stuff in the garage. That’s why I did this right when moved in.
Nice design, but why not paint the walls first?
