I knew these guys had to listen to Rush! Probably my favorite band for a long time and I saw them on their R40 tour in 2016. Thanks, Crying, for making the proghead and indiehead in me really happy
I hadn't heard about Crying until The Needle Drop's review of Beyond the Fleeting Gales. I'm so glad I discovered them. I'm also really impressed how their sound evolved--how the chiptunes took more of a backseat to guitar and synths. It's not always easy to say "no" to the sound that you started out with. But the fact of the matter is that Beyond the Fleeting Gales' freaking ROCKS. It hits hard in a way that would have been difficult with more prominent chiptune sounds. I hope they're still making music because they're amazing yet still have SO MUCH POTENTIAL.
This set rules but it’s screaming for that guitar to be mixed in stereo. Doesn’t sound nearly as full or do their sound justice with both mics panned to the left.
Will they ever make new music??? God I love this land so much 🥲🥲🥲
Hope they gonna come back
fr, i adore this band!
@@khaenyra I’m pretty sure Eliza Santos is still making music as Whatever, Dad

That ghost is killing it on bass

Holy SHIT I was not expecting any of that. Thanks, again, Audiotree!
I know this was 4 years ago but, kynwyn ftw!
Been listening to this band the last couple of months. Pretty awesome and unique! I enjoy the older chiptune stuff too.
If I am ever to hear a live version of, “The Curve” I’ll for certain lose my mind .
love
Thank you Audio Tree for always introducing me to awesome new artists.

eliza just killing it live!
New drummer? Love love love love love love love love!!!!!
I don't think it's a new drummer. I think she was covering for Nick(who plays base for LVL UP as well) because they were on tour.
Yes it's official! thank you! !
You rocked it! Such a good session!
This chilly guy gave me her guitar pick in Berlin show this year. Awesome show btw. Im glad to met them!

this is the most Purchase band imaginable
23:10 turn around to see if she's looking at somebody else, then turn back and blush
Amazing
Just brilliant and the best live recording yet ....
It's wonderful watch this drummer in 4k
Elaiza and their new drummer make my poor lesbian heart flutter.
she has a willow (from buffy) thing going.
did i just age myself out of the target audience for this band?
Really wish they had played the Curve !

Damn amazing so sad there hasn't been more. What guitar is that looks cool af and what synth do they use
I neeeeeeed to know what guitar pedal's he's using. What a sound!
ドラムがカワ(・∀・)イイ!!
ゲームサウンド(8ビット)とロックサウンドの融合具合が面白かったけど
現在はあまりそれをフューチャーしてないのね。
でもいいバンドでございます!
please dont get me wrong-- all of there stuff is great, but i came for Batang Killjoy
This set rules but it’s screaming for that guitar to be mixed in stereo. Doesn’t sound nearly as full or do their sound justice with both mics panned to the left.
That guitar is bitchin
IS THAT KYNWYN ?
Did they get a new drummer?
oursummeranthem Yes!
when? what happened?
What shoes are you wearing here, Kyn?
Tyler Cranford socks.
WHO IS PLAYING THE KEYS
Robert Deselich The keys and bass are on a backing track
Live drums played perfectly with the bass as backing track. Very few musicians like her(Kynwyn Sterling) have this kind of excellent skill and talent.
Is that the chick from scott pilgrim?? Lol
where is keyboard?
Tropang utol? Haha batang kill joy? At first I was confused.. but then, okay nice...
Sucks that the most interesting parts of the music are all just a backing track. Lost any interest in seeing them live
really not feeling this session.
Reminds me a lot of the cranberries
