The actor for Sand Man wasn’t there because of scheduling issues regarding covid, so that’s why he wasn’t in human form. Same goes for the actor for Lizard. So the ending is recycled footage from the previous films from different perspectives. They still voiced their characters though

There's a theory that when Strange said the spell changed 6 times, and Peter said 5, Strange had actually done another one where he would also be exempt from forgetting Peter.

@@MonicaCatapusan This is alluded to when in the end he changed "the ones you love" to " We" including himself. Strange is fond of Peter ever since Infinity War... Plus as a powerful protector of this realm, he's been aware of a spiderman living in NYC.
Fun Fact - All of the Multiverse has a version of Spiderman(woman) in it and the whole order revolves around that character. On an all roster page of a Marvel comic poster Spidey is always almost centered and upfront from the rest.
MCU of course centered around Iron Man since He started it all. - but with Toby "canon" to the mcu now... technically.

I mentioned MCU centered around Iron Man since in 2008 his movie began the whole MCU franchise saga. Iron Man not being in the MCU (anymore) doesn’t change the fact that he started the whole thing. Without it, the MCU itself wouldn’t have existed.
I put canon in quotes because Tobey Spidey is not an MCU film and is all Sony! However his inclusion in this film (and his villains) makes the Sony films kinda canon to the MCU which by order of release dates puts his films at the very beginning. However, his arc and overall story is not an MCU property but is made by Sony.
Peter 2 und Peter 3's friendship is definitely a highlight of this movie (there are many more of course). I feel like these two bonded even more than they did with Peter 1
for sandman and the lizard you don’t see them in their “human” form bc the actors weren’t available at the time they were filming and the part where they show the actor for sandman when curing him, they reused footage from the original trilogy
the fact i straight up flipped out when Matt Murdock had a cameo in this Spider-man film.

i would love to see some content about the old spiderman trilogies- especially after seeing no way home! i cried SO MUCH in the theaters watching this movie, and i cannot wait to be an emotional wreck again when Multiverse of Madness comes out and we get to see Wanda again! love your outfit as always
There's someone that slowed it down and saw that Matthew actually raised his hand up a little sooner than Peter which I love because I feel like Peter's sense wouldn't work with objects until they're close to him but Matthew can hear it from far away. (Maybe I'm dumb though lmaoo)
That's just to show that DD's radar sense is a little bit better than the Spidey-Sense, at times. The Spider-Sense really only applies to imminent danger, so if DD was to defuse a bomb he'd have to have someone help him figure out which wire he was supposed to cut, whereas Spider-Senses would let Spider-Man know what wire to cut. But the radar sense is his ability to be aware of his surroundings, so to track people's footsteps, tell if someone is lying, etc. :)
@@Chloe-wu8wl Almost no version of Spider-Man has a spider sense that finely tuned, especially this early into being a hero. Fully-mastered spider sense is basically precognition, but untrained spider sense is barely a step above anxiety.

The black suit isn't actually a black suit. It's his main suit that got splashed with green paint earlier in the movie, turned inside out. If you look close, you can see wires and circuitry hanging loose off it.

The first time I watched this my heart damn near stopped the moment that MJ fell and Tom’s “Peter” couldn’t catch her. Then had Garfield’s “Peter” jump after her, gave me flashback to TASM2 when his Gwen fell. The moment he landed with her “Are you ok?” And then the look on his face when she asked “are you ok?” My heart BROKE he couldn’t save his Gwen but he made sure to save MJ for Peter. Absolutely one of my fav Marvel movies ❤️xxx

Whenever you saw this in theaters was it opening night cuz in my theater everyone was screaming when Matt Murdock showed up just that cane slamming down everyone knew 😂😂😂(also, Charlie Cox talked about how when in his theater he was ready for it and his wife was just going to record the theater reaction and his and then it was just dead silent but I don't think he went opening night so make sense but also so saddening 😭😂)

When I first saw this movie in theaters I couldn't help but laugh a little at how the powerful and dangerous Norman Osborne immediately goes into 'hobo' mode, sneaking donuts at the FEAST center.

The most emotional scene for me was when Andrew Garfild's Spider-Man saves MJ! That was so simbolic!

Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) deserved more praise he and Luke Cage carried the MCU on Netflix. I was the only one getting hyped when I saw him.
Tobey and Andrew looked after Tom like a little brother. They didn't let him make the mistakes they made.
Tobey made him realize that revenge wasn't the most important thing. Since he knew that revenge had in no way relieved him, he was burdened with an even greater burden.
Andrew did not let Tom lose his beloved girl because he knew how it hurt.

when it comes to Ned and magic, you have to remember that dr strange's hands were mangled and it was extremely hard for him to learn.

The face Norman makes after he gives the "our powers make us God's" speech and then he pulls off the web on his hand and the smile shows you the goblin is different and he's worse it shows the whole character in a second and that to me is what makes him scary.

dont know if many people noticed this but when peter is in the astral form if you look above his head there are wiggly lines like in the comics to signal his spidey sense was active, thought it was a cool detail

Thomas Haden Chruch (Sandman's Actor) and Rhys Ifans (Lizard's Actor) were never on set so that's why you didn't see their human forms until the end because they reused footage from the old movies. They at least had them voiceover their characters though.
I screamed when I saw Matt, even though I I only watched the first season of daredevil, he made a big impression
Trust me, I also flipped out at the Matt Murdock appearance in theater and my mom and brother didn't understand why. Hell, no one else in the theater seemed to really care much. I'm like, but it wasn't a rumor that they got Daredevil to be in No Way Home, they actually did it! I thought we'd get to see him more and hoped we would, but it was still cool that despite discontinuing his show, they still offered him a spot in one of the biggest Spider-Man movies to exist.
It is indeed the same actor(Thomas Hayden Church) for Sandman. He doesn't show up in human form because of COVID concerns. This is also why you only see Rhys Ifans as Dr. Connors through stock footage, and the Lizard is in full lizard mode for the rest of the movie

This movie was nothing short of amazing, the devs went all out with this multiverse stuff
The peter tingle was interesting cuz if you think about, in the first movie it was there, but not expressed, in Infinity War, you could see arm hair spring up like a spider, in the second movie there was an inkling of it seen and peter naming the sense, and in this movie, we see "vibrations" and zoom-ins indicating that it was happening on a larger scale. Also, if you watch "The Canadian Lad" you can see several moments where you see hints of Ned's Magic. When Peter mentions Ned, Strange picks up a huge blob of magic before asking who he is, a couple of times when Ned does a fist bumb, you can see small sparks of magic, and then in Doctor Strange, it's noted that magic is a form of energy inside sorcerers that lets them control it.
Been here since start of last year and I love your reactions I would love to see you do the original trilogy and the amazing Spider-Man movies as well

He was so happy when he thought they were all going to college together😔 And when you factor in his rocky relationship with his parents (which we see at the end of Far From Home), he’s a character I sympathise with more than dislike and label as a bully now
They did do Spidey Sense in his other movies and Civil war. It's just that there was never a musical cue or camera technique to show it off like the other Spider-man movies
I know, I did mean that I liked the way they did it in this movie because I was sure they had shown it in different ways previously

*As soon as I saw you and looked at your name, I was 99% sure you were Filipina! I have visited friends in Cebu City and helped out at their children's shelter seven times, and I consider the Philippines my second home. 😊🇵🇭

There's actually a sequel to No Way Home in development. So I think Venom may be in the movie. Oh, and there's a deleted ending scene where Spider-Man (Andrew) has some of the venom symbiote in him. He was attacking some kids.

I just realized shouldn't have known Norman was the green goblin because it wasn't common knowledge. Even Harry didn't know it until after Octavius died.
Also in Tom Holland's spider-man's universe there was never an uncle Ben. We know this because May"s grave is just hers alone. She was always May Parker and never May Reilly (Aunt May's usual maiden name).
This one was so sad but also so good at the same time probably my favorite spider-man movie ever so far 😊
I work in a cinema and was having a rly bad day at work, not helped by the fact I had to watch aunt may die 3 TIMES during my shift! I was also very excited to see Matt Murdock though he's one of my favourite marvel characters
The music at the end just gets me it’s soo good. Really loved this movie seeing Charlie cox daredevil everyone in my theaters cheered for that so it was sad to hear that not anybody in Charlie’s theater cheered like wtf more people need to know who daredevil is lol and punisher. Really happy Andrew and the other spiders just got to interact so fun & Willem Defoe killed it

about the suit thing it's probably just merchandising. Yes sandman saw him in a black suit but towards the end of the movie he saw him in the red and blue one.
Spider-man is the epitome of outsmarting stronger opponents. Dr. Strange would only lose to spider-man by being outsmarted. I mean how could he even begin to imagine that he'd use math in that way?

Thank you for saying what I was thinking during the spell casting. Peter could just tell them after. To be fair Peter is just a kid who didn't even bother emailing th university and strange is the former doctor who should know about informed consent BUT Peter was a talkative dipshit for trying to alter a spell 6 times. Especially just to tell his loved ones who he'll see afterwards.
If they don't make a sequel to this movie and seeing Tom Holland's new comic book accurate Spider-Man outfit, I'm going to scream because this was such a great movie and it was a hell of a success at the box office.
@40:34 he doesn't get into college because he never graduated from high school. That book is a test prep for his General Equivalency Diploma. Here in the U.S. a GED is an alternative to completing 4 years of high school; it's basically the same as a high school diploma, allowing you to then be able to get into college.
From my experience, this is just about the closest thing to a live-action version of Spider-Man into the spider-verse. All it really needs is other characters such as Miles Morales and spider-gwen 🕷️🕸️
Spidey "beat" Dr Strange in that he was able to trap him, but Strange wasn't trying to incapacitate or trap Peter. Quick thinking to overcome uphill battles is very on brand for Spider-Man. Same reason he beats Electro.
I was so pissed when they killed off May cause she was really growing on me since Far From Home that death scene was so unexpected like wtf?! 😭

The whole ordeal was Strange's fault in my opinion. Why didn't he talked to Peter about the spell first? What the spell entails and what it actually does. Peter didn't know the workings of the spell. A little brainstorming first won't hurt.

I was especially moved by the appearance of the previous Spider-Man's (Men?). In particular Tobey, for some reason. Watching some of the behind the scenes stuff, he seemed to be really happy filming this. I don't know why this should make me especially emotional, but it does.😍
Also, Peter Pan!? 😂 Now I'm going to spend the rest of my Sunday thinking of how it would be possible to incorporate him into this universe; I was going to clean the house today, but I'd much rather use my energy pontificating this way 😉😜
To be honest, so far, the only thing I've done this Sunday, has been watching No Way Home reactions, and pet otter videos. I understand the former, but I'm somewhat mystified by my fascination of the latter 😁

My favorite part of the movie is that we got 6 Great Characters who has the best storylines ever for this whole title film. And they are The 3 Spider-Man Dudes, MJ, Ned and the best one of all Dr. Octopus. They did a very good job of fleshing out and developed the 6 Great Characters and try to get the whole title storylines from start to finish while we are enjoying this film. But I will say the best Character in the whole title movie will always be Dr. Octopus. He is truly the main heart and soul of this Movie. Hands Down.

Even if the mirror dimension is just geometry, Stephen is literally a surgeon, so he'd still technically win against Peter.
Strange being a literal surgeon has nothing to do with the geometry of the Mirror Dimension but probably a lot to do with underestimating Peter, and why he loses against him in there, technically. 😁

-Andrew Garfield: He is more like the cool teenager version of Peter Parker.
-Tom Holland: He is more like the goofy child version of Peter Parker.

My dream
I watched this three times in the movies and twice at home. I cried soooo hard every time. Even watching with you, I cried every single time I did in the theaters. So fricken good. I wonder if people who have no connection would have a strong reaction to it like so many of us did. Dude! I knew aaaall the spoilers before watching except for Matt and I was giddy seeing him. On my third viewing, the dude next to me squealed when Andrew showed up I was like boy it’s been out for three months! How have you avoided the *entire* internet?! But now I’m tryna go into Multiverse of Madness completely blind. WandaVision brought me through all my emotions, I’ve been a huge fan of all of The Marvel properties from all studios and so I just know that the surprises in MoM are gonna be HUGE! Can’t wait to watch it with you! Salamat po! 💗
