When I was a girl I wanted an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas - so badly. My mom thought it was a ridiculous toy that would be useless and there was no way she was going to buy it. Normally, this is where people would expect to hear how I was disappointed and vowed to buy my future little girl an E.B.O. so I could live vicariously through her, haha. The rest of this story though is a sweet and wonderful memory for me. On Christmas morning my mom brought me blindfolded to her double ovens. She had tied a big red bow on the bottom oven door and she told me that she was giving me my very own oven. I also opened up a present with a bunch of Jiffy box cake mixes and, hm, I can't remember what else. I think she had small, but not tiny, pans for me as well. It was AMAZING. I thought it was the best gift ever. And, the best part of the story is that for YEARS my mom would ask me if she could borrow my oven when she needed it. I always graciously said yes 😁 It actually brings tears to my eyes when I think of how she turned a no-way-not-happening into a very special and thoughtful gift. Yeah, Mom! Way to go!
I felt that, at a very young age I already had a love of baking even though my only job then was dumping the chocolate chips into the cookie dough. I got lucky because the same year my younger sister got an easy bake oven for her birthday they made one for boys and my grandma got me one for my birthday. I may not have had my own real oven but it helped fuel my loge of baking. Now whenever I get stressed out, I go straight to baking and I feel soo much better. I do wish I had a real oven sooner because those packets don’t really prepare for actual cooking lol.
I once made mini cakes for a little girls tea party. It took me a total of 14 hours to create 12 adorable mini cakes with royal icing flowers and each were personalized with the little girls initials. I had fun but totally charged way to little.

As a person who LOVES anything in miniature....you know I enjoyed every single darn millisecond of this video of a woman, who made a tiny 3 layer, 3 flavor, gourmet cake in an easy bake oven, from scratch 🤣🤣🤣
I've been thinking of buying an Easy Bake Oven for my three-year-old granddaughter. I'm also going to buy her a mixing set with matching grandma and granddaughter aprons. I know she will be thrilled at this idea and it will be so much fun to bake with her. I had an easy bake as a young girl. I remember my mother showing me how to use it and the fun that I had with her. I'm excited, her fourth birthday is coming up in March of 2021. We're going to have so much fun!
How magical! I loved this! I had an easy bake oven when I was a child but mine looked like a regular little stove with a window in front. It was turquoise and had a light bulb to cook inside. I loved making tiny sized anything! This will be long but I think you might get a kick out of it When I became an adult, I still loved playing with miniature looking food. One day I decided to make a full mini dinner for my sister, and eventually I began making them for family and friends! They were adults as well and had the best time with my miniature tea parties! One meal began with a fruit compote cup and a root beer float. Next course was a chopped salad with Italian soda. Dinner consisted of a capon stuffed like a turkey, Pene pasta stuffed mini cannelloni, baked potatos and mini roasted Italian eggplant . Sides included cinnamon carrots, roasted mini asparagus and stuffed Brussel sprouts. Desert consisted of 3 pies, banana cream, blueberry, and wild strawberry. Three cakes, chocolate with butterscotch icing, vanilla with raspberry butter cream and triple chocolate. There were brownies , scotchies, and blondies with a tiny scoop of ice cream! We finished it all off with an Irish coffee and gelato! Remember all of this was miniature! A lot of what I used was from my mother’s garden or the local international market. I have put together many mini cookware and different miniature dinnerware down to mini silverware! The women who had these tiny parties first thought they’d have to get something on the way home to tide them over but they were stuffed and wound up taking stuff home! They started out wondering how they would manage to eat with the tiny silverware but everyone did and had an absolutely wonderful time doing it! My mother attended several of these as did my sister which were held appropriately in a travel camper! It really was sun h a fun and always entertaining event! It you have a chance to do a miniature dinner party with your family/friends give it a try! Adults have a blast! It’s something no one ever forgets! It takes a little imagination and creativity but definitely a wonderful experience!
And it had 2 round pans and 2 mixing bowl, and 2 mini spatulas to mix and the hook that hug the round pan to take it out hahahhaa i loved it i was destroy when my mom give it away

I had one of the original ones that came out in the 60s when I was about 8 or so.They had a window and a door in the front just like a regular oven. The obsession with safety has made these things ridiculous. We learned to be careful because it was easy to get burned ... just like with a real oven. I'm impressed with what you were able to do with something so tiny!
I love the wedding cake, but I would love to see you make a really detailed character cake in mini form, or tiny cream puffs (like 1/2 inch in size) or tiny chocolate eclairs. How about making a tiny cream puff tower (tree shape). Any of those would be so cool to watch you make. I also want to say I love your channel and I really look forward to see what you do next. I just hope you trying making one of the things I mentioned. 😁👍
I begged for the Easy Bake Oven year after year. My mom thought it was a waste of time and ingredients. She also thought I'd get burned. This is so adorable. When I was a little girl it looked more like an oven and the pans were round. The image from the Sears catalog is engrained in my mind.
Those cake flavors sounds amazing. Buddy velastro from “cake boss” did this once and it turned out pretty cool. This should be a new thing, professional bakers using an easy bake oven to make a three tier cake.
Your excitement and enthusiasm on top of bubbly personality is 99% why alot of people love your videos. cakes look awesome and I imagine are delicious but you bring them over the top.😀
I haven't been to a whole ton of weddings, but I think most wedding cakes (here in the States) have one flavor for all tiers, not a different flavor for each one:) This video is a very cute and creative idea! I bet Homer Simpson would find it inspiring, as he bought an Easy Bake Oven for the dashboard of his car for baking cakes while he was driving.
I uh want the full size deal as my actual wedding cake or just that, single, tiny cake. I get to eat it and everyone else gets like, chocolate chip cookies, I dunno.
The cake turned out soooooooo beautiful! I am sure thumblellina would love it in her wedding! It is just beautiful!🤯🤯🤯🤯 Can somebody help me emphasize how beautiful this turned out!🤯👏👏👏
the original 1960's Easy Bake Oven had a very small window. I baked my first cake for my dad. it took a lot of work. I was like 4. He came home from work and ate the whole cake in one gulp! I was so disappointed! Never thought of doing such a lovely job as you did with your modern easy bake. Such beautiful results!
Every year as as a little girl, I had asked for an Easy Bake Oven, but never got one. My mom thought it was useless since I had already bake using the regular oven. I love the older style ovens better than the newer ones. So, it never fails when I see an Easy Bake Oven I'm just reminded what I missed out as a kid. But then that explains my whole growing up, LOL. Love watching your videos, keep up the good work.
From my memory when I was younger I used to have one of theys and they came with a tiny pan and also a tray and also cake batter and instructions but I ate the batter and didn’t make the cake instead I put a grape in there lol

Your actually the reason why I’m starting my baking channel! I’d like to say thank you! 💕💕💕✨
i love this cheerful lady! watching ber ice and bake is not only satisfying but also a great joy!
SOOOOO GOOOOOD! I love it! I really like your account because you shows also your faults and your progress! Keep going! It's amazing! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Can we talk about the editing put into the video, especially when she was mixing her ingredients? It was amazing HAHA
I begged for the Easy Bake Oven year after year. My mom thought it was a waste of time and ingredients. She also thought I'd get burned. This is so adorable. When I was a little girl it looked more like an oven and the pans were round. The image from the Sears catalog is engrained in my mind.
I LOVE that you could see how proud she was at the end. SO ADORABLE
Those cake flavors sounds amazing. Buddy velastro from “cake boss” did this once and it turned out pretty cool. This should be a new thing, professional bakers using an easy bake oven to make a three tier cake.
Barbie’s wedding cake just got a remodel! Maybe she can use it for one of her other weddings to Ken!😆
This the cutest!
Your excitement and enthusiasm on top of bubbly personality is 99% why alot of people love your videos. cakes look awesome and I imagine are delicious but you bring them over the top.😀
Just started 👀 and can't ✋ her voice is contagious! 💘 this show!
I uh
want the full size deal as my actual wedding cake
or just that, single, tiny cake. I get to eat it and everyone else gets like, chocolate chip cookies, I dunno.

Lol!
I now feel tempted to get a mini oven and try baking.
Just get mini pans and use your oven! Much quicker.
The reason that i love watching your videos is becoz they reflect such happy and positive vibesss🌸🌸it just lights up the mood❤️❤️keep it up
The cake turned out soooooooo beautiful!
I am sure thumblellina would love it in her wedding! It is just beautiful!🤯🤯🤯🤯
Can somebody help me emphasize how beautiful this turned out!🤯👏👏👏
I want to try this!
I need to find my easy bake oven first
I miss the old oven design that looked like a microwave!
The hair, the curls, the cake, ITS ALL AMAING!
Every part of this brought me joy 🤩
You know, it’s funny how you can make an amazing MINI cake and I can barely make a microwave burrito 😂
Ikr I tried to heat my croissant I burnt it down
I like that part when she says I always manage to burn myself on everything I bake lol
Omggg that turned out so cute ❤️I think you should try make a normal sized version of it 😊😊😊
the original 1960's Easy Bake Oven had a very small window. I baked my first cake for my dad. it took a lot of work. I was like 4. He came home from work and ate the whole cake in one gulp! I was so disappointed! Never thought of doing such a lovely job as you did with your modern easy bake. Such beautiful results!
Its so tiny!! Its sooo cute! Well done!
Your so talented! I love your channel!❤
"Bare minimum"? Guess he makes his own cakes.
I know! I kinda thought his comments were super rude

Lmao he was just teasing her :P
@@eiram2006 ya totes agree
Y’all they were just joking around ffs 🤦🏽♀️
The fact I could eat that whole thing in one bite
Every year as as a little girl, I had asked for an Easy Bake Oven, but never got one. My mom thought it was useless since I had already bake using the regular oven. I love the older style ovens better than the newer ones. So, it never fails when I see an Easy Bake Oven I'm just reminded what I missed out as a kid. But then that explains my whole growing up, LOL.
Love watching your videos, keep up the good work.
Formally requesting the recipe for that caramel filling. It looked divine
Yes first! I love you Lorie! You know when you are the first one and you don’t see any comments to scroll through...
I wish you would recreate your wedding cake but tiny using the easy bake oven lmao
Her: Takes 4 hours to finish a mini cake.
Me: “Girl ain’t nobody got time for that!”
I’ve never been to a wedding with 3 different flavors on a cake, you go girl, knocked it out the park
The patience you have is 🤩 WoW
From my memory when I was younger I used to have one of theys and they came with a tiny pan and also a tray and also cake batter and instructions but I ate the batter and didn’t make the cake instead I put a grape in there lol
This is to Kevin:
I'm stealin' your wife, buddy. I need those cakes.
Alpha Centauri also that beautiful smile lol
If I had this cake I would give it to my friend for her wedding
( she’s rlly short hehe)
You brought back so many memories of my 1970's Easy Bake Oven! What happened to you with the chocolate cake ALWAYS happened to me and I think mine did have a viewing window back then.
I got an easy bake oven for Christmas one year! That same year I got a tiny little Tupperwear set, that included a mini cake holder to put the cakes in I made.
