I am trying to load my custom track, but whenever I select the course in Dolphin, it cuts to a black screen. Any solutions? P.S.: To save time, I used WiiScrubber instead of recompiling the .wbfs. Update: The issue has been solved, make sure that in BrawlBox when setting the .brres files that the MDL0 version is set to 11. You can change this under G3D Node.
When i import my model in Brawlbox, it only imports one material. I tried mutliple models, and i always get the same problem. I use Blender to model and 3DS Max 2017 to export. Importing the dae in other model converters (like SuperBMD) works perfectly fine and imports all materials. Only Brawlbox can't import all of them for some reason. What could be the issue? Thanks in advantage :)
@@markflakezCG really happy to read that! If you have any problem by making your CT you can check my videos about it (it is in French but you still can watch it)
When I try to have a look at my track by going to Luigi Circuit, Dolphin doesn't crash but I'm just met with a black screen. Nothing seems to load not even the soundtrack. Do you have any idea why this happens? Not sure if it's related, but BrawlBox gives me this error when I import the texture: i.imgur.com/ZZnjBuO.png - however I can continue just fine.
hey, there can be many things wrong with the track. Did it work in dolphin? Did you use "wszst c-check TRACKNAME.szs"? You should ask in a discord server for more help, like in "Custom Track Jams" channel "tech-support".
@@LastSniki Thanks for your suggestions, but the course model doesn't load in dolphin, and wiims szs tools only give one warning about a texture size not being power of 2 (the texture is 512x135) Thank you for directing me to a useful server, though. Edit: I'm going to change the texture so that it is a power of 2 and see if that changes anything
I'm making a new course, but when I try importing the "dae" file, I get this "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error message. It says that the issue will be fixed once I save it, but it won't let me save. Do you know what the issue might be?
Did you exported you model as obj, converted it as fbx and then dae and then imported it to brawlbox? This "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" happens to me if I create my brres with Brres editor and open it with Brawlbox.
Yeah. I made 2 other tracks following this tutorial and they worked fine. I did all the steps the same with this one, but when I import the dae, I get a message saying an error was found in the model course, that something went wrong with parsing the model.
When I import the textures to the BRRES file, a "Palettes(NW4R)" is created, what do I have to do with it? Delete it... Leave it as it is? Also, Dolphin crashes when I load the course. I'm pretty sure I've done ALL correctly. I tried creating the course 4 times.
Okay, all fixed now. The track crashed because of the "ModelVersion" being set to "9", and Palettes folder was created because I used the CI4 and CI8 texture formats. Don't use them.

I think you have to create one object per material, I had the same problem
@@ouroz8305 this is true

I have the exact same Error but when trying to load the track Mario Kart crashes wich maybe a result cause i test it on my Wii
Well it turned out I didn't rename the model to "course" and now when I try loading it the track works but the textures are invisible
I fixed the problem by downgrading to v 0.77
Downgrading BrawlBox? I'll have to try that.
same! let's see if downgrading works for me :/
When exporting my model. Sketch up crashes. Why does this happen?
My textures from roadkill are all counting as textures and clog up the brres

Once I turn the model into an OBJ and import it more than half of my textures are missing... Any Help? This carries over to the DAE File
idk if you need an answer still since it's been 4 months, but i used brres editor, none of my textures would show up but they did on there
I need help, how to create the start point of cannon in the kcl ???
use kmp editors
The FBX converter download page is now a 404 page.
Any help? There's no .exe file in the download.
Download the 2013.2 version, it's the same, with new interface.
Does this work with blender?
Yeah, it's a lot better than SketchUp

Mein wiederkomprimiertes mkwii ist auch nur 1.14 GB groß, da is was falsch...
Und fehler schon gefunden... Hab die cmd beim extracten irgendwie abgewürgt
