I'm a fan. It's always a good day when you wake up to a notification saying Falling in Reverse dropped a new song. I've watched it a few times now. Very Dune-esk. Seems like this is definitely is a 'prequel' to future releases from this album.
For those of you who don't know about Ronnies past he was the former lead singer of "Escape The Fate" he was then kick out of his band when he was wrongly accused of murdering someone and went to jail. He then formed Falling In Reverse upon his release from jail, and needless to say he took no prisoners and has made Falling In Reverse one of the biggest bands in the world. This song to me is really about his saying that most people now days have no orginality. Everyone is happy with being the same and trying to be like everyone else on social media. Don't be afraid to be yourself, even if people don't like it. We all have to find our way in life, just make sure you stay true to yourself and make it your way.

I’m waiting for the FIR movie, the extended cut! If you’re going to dive deeper into his music I recommend starting with the first escape the fate album and then work your way up through the rest. There’s a link between “the day I left the womb” on the escape the fate album dying is your latest fashion and “brother” on the just like you album. It gives a bit more of a backstory to him as a person. Love the reactions, it’s mad to see someone who gets hyped for the same type of music, and if you want to check out another artist, check out Seth Sentry, he’s an Aussie rapper, “violin” and “Pripyat pt.1”&”pt.2” are deeper songs, but “cheap shots” is a good fun song.

My initial take is this is the internal battle of good/evil in one’s self… the angels and demons pulling a person in different directions. At this point watching several of these falling in reverse videos…… this series of videos is more of an art performance story, not just a bunch of songs. Not a lot of current artists do this anymore. We usually see one off songs. I’m older and remember themed or story albums like Pink Floyd or The Who or more modern would be Green Day’s American Idiot. That’s what this series of Falling In Reverse songs is making me think of but I don’t know if that was the intention. Either way it’s a piece of art in my opinion. I’m really enjoying this band for sure!!!

BP, the shirt you're wearing says "brass knuckles". Brass knuckles are illegal in Nevada. That is what Ronnie went to prison for. His buddy was challenged to a fight. Ronnie brought brass knuckles to the fight but they never had a chance to leave his pocket because the other side brought ten guys and one pulled a gun on Ronnie's friend. While wrestling for the gun it went off and killed the kid that brought it along with one of that guy's friends. His buddy got self defense. Ronnie pled guilty for the brass knuckles and got 5 yr probation. He missed some check-ins and was sent to prison for the remaining two and a half years. Two kids dead. This is where the "Ronnie murdered someone" rumors came from. He never even threw a punch, but he was there, carrying an illegal, concealed weapon. So there you go, that's the truth. Also, haters say he raped a girl on the tour bus. That is a lie. I know the "facts" are in court records. Ronnie sued that girl and won! I'm sick of his haters, they need to show up with FACTS before they perpetuate lies.

Many artists claim their art comes from another place. That scene where the light and black angel are reaching for him feels like such a potent imagery of what spiritual warfare looks like. I pray that Ronnie is saved because the kingdom of heaven could use more visionaries like him.
Falling in Reverse/Ronnie's catalog is definitely something everyone should go through like Ren's and NF's. I know what your saying cause I'm the say way where I've found a few songs I like from an artist but after checking out older songs suggested by people they just didn't hit the same meaning its prob an artist you'll only like a few songs every album release vs an artist where you like just about every song cause they have what all you like. If you're anything like me and think this track is amazing and love everything about it just about all his songs and videos are like this and just has that secret sauce.

If you’re going to dive deeper into his music I recommend starting with the first escape the fate album and then work your way up through the rest. There’s a link between “the day I left the womb” on the escape the fate album dying is your latest fashion and “brother” on the just like you album. It gives a bit more of a backstory to him as a person. Love the reactions, it’s mad to see someone who gets hyped for the same type of music, and if you want to check out another artist, check out Seth Sentry, he’s an Aussie rapper, “violin” and “Pripyat pt.1”&”pt.2” are deeper songs, but “cheap shots” is a good fun song.

My initial take is this is the internal battle of good/evil in one’s self… the angels and demons pulling a person in different directions.
At this point watching several of these falling in reverse videos…… this series of videos is more of an art performance story, not just a bunch of songs.
Not a lot of current artists do this anymore. We usually see one off songs. I’m older and remember themed or story albums like Pink Floyd or The Who or more modern would be Green Day’s American Idiot. That’s what this series of Falling In Reverse songs is making me think of but I don’t know if that was the intention.
Either way it’s a piece of art in my opinion. I’m really enjoying this band for sure!!!

I only learned about falling in reverse tonight and have watched a couple of reaction videos. My immediate reaction was nf but some metal. I saw in the comments people said on X that he stated he wasn't inspired by NF. That's a lie if I ever heard one. The production of the music videos is insane. For somebody I've never heard of he has a huge budget
I think the suit is actually an armor image maid to raise up against the system that causes a lot of trauma to a lot of people. He's presenting him more as a martyr than a prophet i think. 🤔

BP, the shirt you're wearing says "brass knuckles". Brass knuckles are illegal in Nevada. That is what Ronnie went to prison for.
His buddy was challenged to a fight. Ronnie brought brass knuckles to the fight but they never had a chance to leave his pocket because the other side brought ten guys and one pulled a gun on Ronnie's friend. While wrestling for the gun it went off and killed the kid that brought it along with one of that guy's friends. His buddy got self defense. Ronnie pled guilty for the brass knuckles and got 5 yr probation. He missed some check-ins and was sent to prison for the remaining two and a half years.
Two kids dead. This is where the "Ronnie murdered someone" rumors came from. He never even threw a punch, but he was there, carrying an illegal, concealed weapon. So there you go, that's the truth.
Also, haters say he raped a girl on the tour bus. That is a lie. I know the "facts" are in court records. Ronnie sued that girl and won!

Many artists claim their art comes from another place. That scene where the light and black angel are reaching for him feels like such a potent imagery of what spiritual warfare looks like. I pray that Ronnie is saved because the kingdom of heaven could use more visionaries like him.
Falling in Reverse/Ronnie's catalog is definitely something everyone should go through like Ren's and NF's. I know what your saying cause I'm the say way where I've found a few songs I like from an artist but after checking out older songs suggested by people they just didn't hit the same meaning its prob an artist you'll only like a few songs every album release vs an artist where you like just about every song cause they have what all you like. If you're anything like me and think this track is amazing and love everything about it just about all his songs and videos are like this and just has that secret sauce.
