Loved this reaction! Ronnie actually did an interview with Octane about this song and ultimately its about a guy who saved the world from destruction , but got labeled as the villain (think the crucifixion of christ and how he was treated on the way to the cross) . So, since the world labeled and treated him as the villain, he decided to take up that mantel and be the one that destroys the world he wasted time saving, more or less. The message can definitely be applied to how media will twist a story to insite anger or make someone the villain or hero even when they dont have all the facts Or even how the masses behave on social media and cancel culture.

The end of the song is him becoming himself, showing how people have been lied to, and how the fear to conform is chaining people to be something they don’t want to be.

His song, “Brother” is about his older brother dying a few years ago. He says on the song something like “I’ve prayed and prayed for the hurt to go away. The pain gets worse, it never stops, and I’ve asked the LORD for us to swap”
I think he really dislikes “organized” religion.
The man was traumatized by his mom abandoning him basically at birth due to addiction. He’s been through the ringer.
He even went to jail for a self defense death that HE did NOT cause. He was an addict but has been clean for YEARS.
His dad is born again Christian.
The red banner is directly from Star Wars’ Force Awakens, to go with the line,

I posted my video (shoddy camera work cuz I was trying to watch the concert and not focus on the video). You can HEAR how amazing it was. He switches off vocals with his bassist, Tyler Burgess.

As a still angsty emo, I loved the rap, rock, metal, and death growling parts equally. One of the greatest music videos in recent memory, honestly. The imagery really helped sell this! Love that Homelander ending, too.

So none of it satanic. The upside down star is actually if you look is the f i r for falling in reverse, and it's also a play off of a scene from Star wars which if you look at the lyrics he actually says I'm about to go Darth I'm about to go Disney I'm going in the darkness to infinity. Those are all related to Star wars and space and Disney and that's why that scene was the way it was. As far as the church is concerned the entire song is about the industry hating on him, I don't know why I don't know the history but apparently the industry as a whole does not like him. So the church is representative of that established industry that society just goes along with and he's burning it all down because they oppose him directly. As far as the like demon that's on the typewriter that's his own demons and him overcoming them to be the best that there is. It's all symbology.

This 100%. If you lived in your rock/metal bubble in the early 2000s a lot of us were introduced to rap via Linkin Park and Slipknot, and then just dove down the rabbit hole. Now it's a part of us too. Ronnie took this to a whole other level that Mike and Corey could never touch, and that's saying a lot. Glad this ended up in my feed so I could hear another perspective and doubly glad to see they enjoyed it. 🤘

If you notice when the priest catches fire it's only him and not the bible in his hand. The thing with Ronnie is he doesn't have issues with religion. He used to be a believer. Its more so the people that use and abuse religion for personal gain or putting others down for their different beliefs. He supports people who believe in whatever they do. The goat head you we're talking about is their band initials FIR put together and the whole scene is a play on starwars and the empire. He drops a line that says "about to go darth, about to go disney" referencing starwars and how disney now owns them. The way I interpret this video, at least the second half, is he is pretty much chastised for anything he does from internet haters who can't let go of the negative things he did in the past even thoigh he has bettered himself and made amends. Its kind of like if you want to act like im a villain then ill give you a villain. Also I feel like the church scene was heavily influenced from the show The Boys.

Ronnie is the lead singer's name. They started out as a heavy metal band but Ronnie started incorporating rap into the songs with metal in 2013 when he did a cover of Coolio's gangstas paradise which is awesome by the way. Ever since they have incorporated rap and metal together perfectly

All recent Falling In Reverse videos are done like this, where it feels like you're watching a movie. Insane cinematography and special effects. You should definitely check out some of the previous songs to this one, like, Voices In My Head, Zombified, Popular Monster. Ronnie always has a little rap mixed in, but usually not this much. But the songs and videos are still mind blowing.

I very much come from the metal world (having said that I attended a concert that Tech and Krizz played in Australia in 2016 and took some photos that I'm pretty damn proud of) but seeing people from other industries tipping they toes into the different music cultres through genrehopping bands like this makes me so damn happy.
